“Traveling from Tucson AZ. to Bakersfield, CA. I broke down in Indio. My truck had problems but wouldn't register on diagnostics test. Alvarez Auto by experience said it had to be fuel pump. I was taking a chance on paying for its repair and still breaking down with same problem. They were spot on!!! They were prompt and very honest! I had no problems the rest of my way! I even had personal belongings in my truck! They are very good people at Alvarez Auto! Highly recomended!!!!”

“Was searching for a reliable mechanic in the area while servicing my BMW at Concord. Came upon Fred who was nearby to Costco / Auto Row on Market Street. He's really thorough and goes through in detail of all the work to be done and is easy to talk to. He gives honest answers and has good discussion on what needs to be done. My car needed brakes / rotors repaired with an oil change and both were completed in the time we discussed before my next appointment. Good guy, reliable service, prompt, and quality work. “I have a Lincoln Nautilus suv that needed an oil change so I read the great reviews on Arthur and decided to schedule the service. He was very helpful and professional and his back yard is set up as a repair shop. I sat and watched him and was out of there in 20 minutes. The next customer arrived as I was leaving. His price is very fair and much cheaper than going to the dealership. I will definitely be going back in 5,000 miles!”

“I have to give a shout out to Pancho and Santiago, the owners of this shop. Pancho met me and the tow truck driver at the shop Saturday evening around 5:30 PM, LONG after the shop had closed, to receive my vehicle which was a tremendous blessing.The Tow Truck driver recommended this shop saying how many times they have helped other people after hours who became stranded.My transmission had blown out and by Monday morning, they ran a diagnostic, confirmed the problem and provided me with options. By mid week, my vehicle was repaired and it has been driving great for the past 4 days.I highly recommend Pancho and Santiago and their shop and am so appreciative of their willingness to go above and beyond on the Saturday I brought the vehicle in.Definitely recommend them.”

“Quick backstory.. driving to Havasu on the 177 near Lake Tamarisk and my daughter following calls to say her car is making a funny noise, pull over and I could already tell it was a rod knock.. had AAA tow it (kudos to them too) to Fiesta Ford. They managed to fix all the recall items but then tell me I need a new motor and they are backordered until further notice .. Rudy tried his best but can't fault him.. now comes Yelp, I find Kiko's based on the ratings and reviews. Call up and talk to Frank.. he recommended a tow company and had them tow it to the shop.. he confirmed the blown rod and found me a used motor in a day... they tore it open on Monday and done by Friday as promised. The shop is a little messy but to me as a boat guy, I like that because it means parts can be found. I forgot to mention this whole experience was done by phone because it's a 2 hour drive for me. I wish shops like this were more local to me.. keep up the great work guys!”

“I was wrecked. My F-150 was not going into gear, and when it did, it wouldn't come out of first gear. I had to wait a week but it was well worth it. A transmission shop could have told me, you need a rebuilt transmission, but not Desert Transmission. They said it needed a part and it would be $1000.00. It came in at $800.00 I was shocked. I thought it was going to be $4000-$5000. These guys are incredible! I give them 10 Stars!!!! Sean M.”
