“I found a cold and wet juvenile opossum .
They took him/her in . Just wish that one could get a follow up report on the health of the animals.
Super grateful to have wildlife care to help with our injured wildlife !!”

“This is an excellent and well stocked reasonably priced craft and sewing store! I spent $20 here and got enough material to make several projects, the first of which was this camping pillow.”

“Genesis is nothing short of my home. God has brought so many blessings my way through this community. I love their fear of the Lord, what they stand for, each carefully planned sermon series, and the beautiful ways they show love to the church family. I’m incredibly grateful for also getting to be baptized here. I recommend Genesis church for everyone!!”

“This is such a an amazing place and was for me like the only vacation I've ever had in life even though I had had a baby who was premature and that is the reason I was there. I couldn't travel back and forth so they allowed us to stay in a house that fit my entire family. My parents, my husband and I and our son. Just wow I actually did not want to leave! So many good memories here. Thank you so much for being so kind and for all the free blankets, food, drinks place to sleep everything!”

“The Sac Zoo located in William Land Park is not very large (about 14 acres) but it's definitely a great way to spend a few hours on the weekend.
There is a reptile house, large animals like giraffes, kangaroos, lions, zebras, etc. Plenty of bird exhibits including a lot of flamingos and an often raucous parrot enclosure. A few simian exhibits and more.
There is a kiddie train, a carousel, and a restaurant with indoor and outdoor tables.
A few notes.. if you're visiting in the summer it's best to go earlier in the day as many of the animals will be less active and often take shelter as the day gets hotter.
If you live nearby consider getting a season pass. For the price of about two visits you can go as often as you like.
Land Park is quite large and directly across from the Zoo is Fairlytale Town. A little further away is Funderland Amusement Park. So it's easy to turn your trip into an all day adventure.
The Zoo does not have parking but there is plenty of parking directly across from the zoo and throughout Land Park. SacRT also has a bus stop directly in front of the zoo.
There is a plan to move the zoo to Elk Grove but that was just approved and won't happen for a number of years.”

“A worthy bike shop to check out when looking for a used bicycle and/or bicycle parts. A good resource for affordable used bike parts whether it be for your road bike, your mountain bike or cruiser. They have everything from tires, to derailleurs, seat posts, bearings, and quick releases. You can find the smallest mechanical parts, the essentials, and everything in between. You can pay $5 to work on your bike there, but bring your own tools just to be on the safe side.”

Their comprehensive approach to providing food, clothing, education, and support services is a testament to their commitment to making Sacramento a better place for all its residents. As a business owner, partnering with them on community initiatives has been incredibly rewarding. It's organizations like these that truly make a difference, and I encourage more businesses to support their vital work.”

“We were in town for a music show and this place is a gem. Well kept and the people running it are super sweet. Check out musical instruments the way you'd check out books at a library. They have a lot of events there, space to do recording, and quite a few instruments. Coolest venue I've been to by a long shot. What a great idea for the community!”

“Forever Young is a very special place for our family. The staff are some of the warmest, kindest, most caring individuals who go above and beyond to ensure each child is cared for and loved. My son started there when he was 4 months old and continued on into the toddler room. When he aged out, it felt like we were moving away from family. I could not recommend FY enough.”
