Many visits to this B&J with my vehicles of various vintages with fantastic results every single time- even for obscure subtle problems that required their team to do online research for the secret solution. They are frequently very busy, but they always find time for my cars to fit into the schedule. Be patient, wait for availability in their shop workflow, and let them work their magic for you. In several cases, they have not charged me for all of the work they did. On two visits they simply solved my problem for free and did not even bother to write up a bill of sale. I am not aware of ANY shop that repairs cars for free!”

“The folks at Japanese Auto Center in Torrance are the best! The first time I went to them I brought in a list of expensive ($8k) recommended repairs from my local dealership in order to get a second opinion. They ended up confirming that about half of the repairs needed to be made, and gave me a very reasonable price to do the work. But another very expensive repair they demonstrated was not necessary, saving me thousands of dollars! I was very grateful and pleased with the results of their work.More recently I visited because my front grille cover had popped off when I hit a curb stop. My car is very low slung and hard to get below without jacking it up, and I wasn’t sure if one of the fasteners had broken or not. I asked them to see if they thought they could reattach it securely, or if I needed to get a new one. They cheerfully went out, quickly reattached the grille cover, and told me that they would not take any money for doing it. So instead, I am paying it back by telling the world what honest mechanics you will find here! It’s such a relief to find great, honest, reasonably priced auto mechanics. I highly recommend Japanese Auto Center.”

“Very Impressed with this company. My son attends *** and his car wouldn't start, tried a jump, nothing. We had no idea what the issue could be, it is an old car(1991 Acura), was it serious? I found **** on bbb.org and he had an A+ rating and was a few blocks away. I called twice speaking to **** and ***** and they were busy but said bring it in. We had the car towed over around 11am, my son met **** who my son said was a gentleman, explained the diagnostic process and said he would call with an estimate. Just over an hour later he called with the news and the damage. It was just a seriously dead battery and he would have the car road ready in an hour at a very reasonable price. We had feared the worst, some expensive electrical issue and were so grateful for his news. I appreciate his honesty, integrity and fairness. “My car broke down right when I got to work - it would not start / or rough start - An error code P0335 (Crankshaft Position Sensor) was displayed on my OBD-II reader.I did my usual Amazon and YouTube search think I wanted to fix it myself. The more I read of possible repairs the more I started to look for a near auto repair place. I found a few nearby and also consulted my coworker if he knew of a place nearby that he could recommend.Right away my co-worker T** suggested this place named C's Auto Repair. I have never heard of this place, but I trusted my buddy and stopped my searching online. I spoke to Saloum and explained my situation and that I would like to have my car towed to his location in Lawndale. He said no problem.After the car was dropped off - they inspected and called me to explain and invited me over to show me their finding. I told them I would come over to see their finding and explained to him at least in my opinion when someone recommends you, they are doing this for a good honest reason and trust is part of it, but I still went to see for myself since he recommended, and I was nearby.I truly felt that they were really transparent about the findings and the estimate price he told me. It was also brought to my attention of things I have possibly overlooked like fluid levels, worn belt, low oil, oil leaks, and warning lights. But from now on I will pay more attention to these.The problem turned out to be not as serious as it could have been if I have kept trying to start and driving my car and not have it towed to C's Auto Repair.My car was done the next day and even feels a bit faster, lol. The cost turned to be as it was estimated. “I wish I could give this shop more than five stars. I took my 2005 Yukon Denali to get diagnosed. It had a leak. Eddy called me within an hour to let me know that my power steering system had multiple leaks. They ended up replacing the lines, the pump and the gearbox. I was charged a fraction of the price that I would have paid at the dealership. Eddy and his team had my SUV ready to go the by the next day. They are very professional and honest, they explain everything that's going on with your car in great detail. They break it down so any person can understand, even if your car knowledge is limited. If money is tight, they are partnered with a financing company that will give you zero APR if paid within a certain time. I wish that I would have found this shop before, not as I'm moving out of L.A. I highly recommend Eddy and this shop.”

“Excellent work on short notice. I'm new to LA and needed a laundry list of scheduled maintenance done prior to my road-trip to Sequoia National Park. Precision Auto Care was able to take my 2016 BMW 320i X drive in on very short notice and get it all done in one day. I dropped my car off overnight, dropped the keys in the drop box. “I found Wise Tires based on the excellent Yelp reviews and the fact that it's very close to my house. One of my tires has been leaking air very slowly. I took it to the dealership where I bought the car and they said they looked at it and couldn't find anything wrong with it. So I thought the problem was more complicated and put off finding a new place / solution for a while. Finally I was tired of adding air to my tire every week so I took my car to Wise Tires. Lindsay (I think) greeted me as soon as I pulled up and told me they will take care of it. Since I live very close I went home to wait for her call. She called me 40 minutes later and told me they found the problem, patched it up and I can head on over. Once I got there my car was all ready to go and they charged me a VERY reasonable price. Especially compared to the dealership who charged me multiple times that price and didn't even fix my problem. I was on my way within an hour of dropping the car off. I couldn't believe how easy that was. I hope I won't have tire problems in the near future but I'll definitely come back to Wise Tires if I need help, and I would highly recommend them to my friends and family as well.”
