Pet Foods Market & Supplies
1816 N Sepulveda Blvd, Manhattan BeachThis is by far the best pet food store I’ve ever been to. The local family that owns it is very knowledgeable and friendly. They were able to special order my dogs food so that I could buy from them. The prices beat any website and or other stores because of the deals they have set in place. Flawless experience so far!

Fuji Pet Salon
1215 N Sepulveda Blvd, Manhattan BeachThis place was always busy. The staff was the best (I swear they must have had magic when handling the dogs. My dog loved going here.) and their regular customers kept coming back. For my small dog that only needed a bath, ear clean, nail clip and deshed... it only cost me $35. What a bargain! When I first brough my dog in a few years back, I thought they would have charged an arm and a leg because they had a five star rating and they were located in Manhattan Beach. I totally understood why it was hard to get an appointment sometimes. Ignore the person that gave only one star. One thing she didn't know was the business was on it's way of closing and they didn't want to take any new clients towards the end. I found out the owner was battling cancer and she could not find a good quality groomer to replace her. I am going to miss this place. I hope and pray the owner will be okay and I hope to find another groomer that my dog loves and is reasonably priced. Unfortunately, I can't take him to a pet store because for some reason he was terrified of them when I would take him there for nail clipping and I have no idea why. :(

Pet Sitting & Training
Melissa's Mutt Hutt & Cat Shack
1590 Rosecrans Ave, Manhattan BeachAfter working for two years with another dog walking/pet sitting company, we moved out of their normal area of service, and had to find pet care on short notice. With a shy and anxious dog who is nervous of strangers and sometimes reactive to other dogs on leash, finding a trusted dog walker is no easy task. I found MMH on Yelp and gave them a call. Melissa called me back within 24 hours, and Sarah came out that week to meet me and my dog and assured me that Allison would be able to take care of our pup. As we still had a few walks scheduled with our previous walker, they even coordinated a time for Allison to join our old walker on one of their last visits and help our dog adjust to the change.Allison is amazing, and we are so lucky to have found her! She took the time to get to know and build trust with our dog. Our dog loves her, she sends the best photos and updates after each visit, and she really goes above and beyond to keep us informed of any concerns. We’ve worked with lots of great dog walkers over the years, but she is the best when it comes to communication. We have regularly scheduled weekly walking, but MMH has also always been able to accommodate our one-off requests. This is one of the benefits of working with a larger company. If we need a one-off walk, and Allison isn’t available, MMH has always been able to find someone, and Allison regularly introduces our dog to other walkers so that there are multiple people who can fill in when needed. We’ve also used MMH for overnight, in-home care, and again, MMH has always been able to accommodate our requests and we’ve had positive experiences with all the walkers/sitters so far.

1141 Manhattan Ave, Manhattan BeachI went to this restaurant for the first time in mid 2024 and the experience was amazing. Steaks are good and cooked perfectly according to your preference. A good selection of wine too. I came back to this place again last night and all the food are perfect as usual. Our server was amazing too. I hope to come back to this place again soon.

North End Caffe
3421 Highland Ave, Manhattan BeachNorth End Cafe is hands down my favorite breakfast and coffee spot in Manhattan Beach! This place has it all—from its prime location to the specialty coffees, incredible food, warm service, and chill vibe. Every time I come here, I leave happier.
Nacho, the best server on the planet, is a huge reason I love this place so much. He goes above and beyond with his friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring service. His positive attitude brightens your morning and really sets the tone for the day. If only the world had more people like him!
Must-try items? The Medici coffee is unique around here and so worth it (recommend asking it to be slightly less sweet), and the breakfast potatoes are an absolute dream. Love, love, love this gem of a cafe!

Lido Bakery
3001 N Sepulveda Blvd suite d, Manhattan Beachthis past february, i wanted to do something special to celebrate my boyfriend's late mother, alma rosa, on her birthday, 2/28. she passed away 11 years ago, and they were incredibly close. her sudden death was really hard, and i wanted to honor her memory in a meaningful way. when she was alive, they used to celebrate her birthday as a family with sweet lady jane's famous triple berry cake. my plan was to get that same cake for him, but i was heartbroken to learn the bakery had announced it was going out of business. determined to find a way, i started researching and stumbled upon an article that mentioned lido bakery in manhattan beach. to my surprise, i learned they're actually the original creators of the triple berry cake! it's a small, family-owned bakery, and i knew i had to get it from there. the morning of her birthday, i left work (with my best friend as my partner in crime) and made the trip from santa monica to manhattan beach. before heading out, i called the bakery and found out they had just one cake left. i begged them to hold it and raced over. when we arrived, the staff was so kind and accommodating. we shared the story of why this cake was so important, and we were touched to learn the owner herself is the creator of this iconic recipe. the cake was simple yet perfect. the gentleman helping us even offered to write alma rosa's name on it. with a little nudge from my friend, i agreed--and it turned out beautifully. we also picked up fresh red roses & baby's breath on the way home, as red roses always remind my boyfriend of his mother. it felt like everything fell into place--it was truly meant to be. that day was filled with so many special signs that alma rosa was with us, helping to brighten my boyfriend's day. the cake was not only delicious, but it carried so much love and meaning. it's now a tradition--my boyfriend insists we get the cake from lido bakery every year on her birthday. see you in february! thank you, lido bakery, for being part of such a heartfelt moment. your care, kindness, and incredible triple berry cake will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Lettuce Feast Food Truck - Manhattan Beach
1601 Manhattan Beach Blvd, Manhattan BeachThe Lettuce Feast food truck was at an event we were holding. I ordered the OG chicken tenders with fries and it was delicious. I didn't have to wait that long for my order, and when I came back to order a second round, the worker remembered my name. My mother ordered the Nashville sando, which was great too! Excellent flavor and texture.

Bluestone Lane Manhattan Beach Café
321 Manhattan Beach Blvd, Manhattan BeachBluestone Lane is this fun café near the beach in Manhattan Beach, California. What this café offers is a really unique selection of coffees, and very good foods. All of their food are very well prepared and have a very nice presentation. That's the great thing about this café, it really presents its food and drinks with a level of excellence. Personally, I always have one of their lattes whenever I'm eating here. They always do a very nice design in their lattes and they're always painstakingly careful in the way they create their coffees. The other good thing about this café, for you vegans and people that are lactose intolerant, is that you can get your lattes made with oat milk, so you'll get to enjoy all of the flavorings, without any of the milk or milk by-products. In terms of seating, this café has a nice interior area. You can sit inside if you want to, but they also have several tables, and a line of counter space on their exterior. So, if you want to enjoy the fresh ocean air, this is probably your best option. In terms of parking, you can find metered parking on the streets or you can park in one of the local parking lots. Keep in mind, however, this is Manhattan Beach, California, so on Saturdays and Sundays, the area can get fairly impacted. You may have a little bit of trouble finding parking, just keep that in mind. As well, this is a popular café, so there tends to be a lot of people visiting on the weekends. There may be a bit of a wait if you want to sit at one of their tables. Just something to keep in mind. Overall, this is a great café. They're atmosphere is very good, the food is very good, the drinks are very good, and the staff are all very nice and professional. Great place to enjoy a meal or a drink.

Summer's Sports Bar
3770 Highland Ave Suite 103, Manhattan BeachIt was really nice meeting friends here. There is free parking for the bar on the left side, and there is meter parking on the right side. The bartender was super friendly and good at her job even when she got slammed with a wave of customers on Saturday night. The prices were very reasonable and I don't think we had to pay to play pool. The bar patrons were also very friendly and a very nice crowd. I highly recommend Summer's Sports Bar ??
Parking: There is a free parking lot on one side, and the other side is a nice big metered parking lot. There are a lot of signs at the free parking, so at first it looks like you can't park there, but one of the signs says that there is 2 hour free parking for that building where the bar is at. If the lot attendant is there, just tell him you are going to Summer's Sports Bar. The lot attendant leaves at 6pm, I think, so nobody is there to keep track of the 2 hour free parking. In other words, you can park there for as long as you want for the rest of the night for free.

Cafe Wild
3505 Highland Ave, Manhattan BeachSo, this cafe is located in Mahattan beach which is minutes from LAX and walking distance from the beach. While I was waiting for family to land at LAX, I decided to treat myself to Brunch and a friend recommended this spot. You order at the counter and the man who helped was super friendly and noticed Cafe Wild is LGBTQ friendly which is awesome! He was very helpful and made recommendations to me on what to eat since I was undecided. Once I sat down, I noticed the music was good bumping classic 90s to early 2000s rnb songs which I love! Then the food came out in about 10 minutes and it was hot and I devoured it! I got it to go but ended up finishing the whole dish! I got the good vibes burrito. I would say it wasn't the best breakfast burrito of my life but it had ingredients that complimented each other nicely with the cheese, eggs, bell peppers and topped with some tapa tio and the tater tots were perfect with it! I would definitely come back for another one or try more of their food. Once I was done eating, I took my 16oz coffee to go and walked on the beach. This coffee was strong and tasty and lasted me all morning for my 2mile walk and drive from LAX back to San Diego! Honestly if I'm ever in the area again, I'll come back! Also, parking is street paid parking but it's like $3 for 2 hours. So not bad to me.

Sidecar Doughnuts & Coffee
3026 N Sepulveda Blvd Suite G-110, Manhattan BeachWho doesn't like a fresh made donut? This chain makes some of the best freshest donuts around. I've been to a couple of Sidecar's other locales. This branch in Manhattan Beach is quite nice. There is plenty of parking available in the strip plaza where they are located. Service is polite. Their doughnuts are not the cheapest around. You have got to pay up for quality, and the doughnuts they make are top notch and very fresh. We purchased a dozen variety of flavors to share with the familia. We made sure to slice them so everyone had a chance to try everything. Reviews were mixed. The Basil Eggs Benedict doughnut was not your typical sweet tasting treat. It was definitely more savory than sweet. One person liked it while the others did not. Personally, I was not a fan. 3 to 4 stars was rated by the family for the Meyer Lemon Pound Cake, Passion Fruit Pavlova, Maple Bacon, and Butter & Salt. The Huckleberry doughnut was and still is my favorite flavor that Sidecar bakes. Overall, it was a good visit to this Sidecar Doughnuts shop in Manhattan Beach. Don't know when the next time will be that I am in town, but a stop here will be included in any future trip that I am.
