Incredible group!! In a world filled with greed and waste, the Muindi family restores my faith in humanity. Serena and Tim are unbelievably generous people. They have dedicated so much to giving back to the community and improving the quality of life for so many people living in the greater San Jose Area.
About Muindi Foundation
We are a San Jose based nonprofit focused on serving, strengthening, and advocating for the unhoused and underserved in our community. Our programs provide critical resources and tools to the unhoused and educational and mentorship opportunities for at risk elementary school children. In 2022, We were able to distribute over 10,000 hygiene, toiletry, and clothing items. During the pandemic our organization identified and responded to a need to support at-risk elementary age children as they adapted to home-schooling. With the onset of the pandemic, not only were families experiencing homelessness, food insecurity and financial hardship, most of the children did not have access to laptops, internet and help with schoolwork.
