“I tried to open another CD account in *** Meriwest branch, but the staff there didn't have time for me, so I had to find another Meriwest branch, the Sunnyvale branch, and scrambled in a hurry to get there. Kay Amado I call her my personal banker because she is so friendly to every member that comes in but especially because she has helped me so many financial needs from car loans to personal loans over and over. “I have been banking with Star One Credit Union in the past several years and I am very happy with them. My mother and my son also opened accounts at Star One upon my recommendation. I feel Star One is way better than any of the other major banks we have banked with in the past - Wells Fargo, Chase, and Bank of America. Star One's savings rate is much higher than the major banks, and I don't need to worry about being hit with high fees. Plus they offer very friendly service at the branch with a personable touch that has been lost at the big banks. Recently the tellers at the De Anza branch helped my mother with an IRA account transfer to a brokerage firm. The contra firm demanded various documents (even though the information was included in the statement submitted), and was not being responsive to inquiries. Urmila and Charlton worked with Lina in the IRA department to fulfill the contra firm's requests and got the account trasferred successfully. My kudos to them for going above and beyond to help a customer.”

“With fraud being at an all time high I've had to replace my card twice within 6wks. Their CS departments during business hours and post are consistently patient, polite, and chill. It's a different vibe in comparison to commercial banks. At all costs I try to avoid having to go inside banks but when I must.. Star One makes the chore an easy one.”

“I recently had the pleasure of visiting TechCU on Blossom Hill and was fortunate enough to be assisted by the incredible banker, Juan. I've had the pleasure of being helped by him before and I cannot express enough how impressed I was with his exceptional customer service skills and genuine dedication to ensuring a positive banking experience. Nowadays that's hard to find which is why I usually use the atm. From the moment I approached the counter, Juan greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly demeanor. He immediately made me feel welcomed and valued as a customer. Juan actually remembered me from the previous time I was there. His professionalism and attention to detail were evident throughout our interaction. He remembered I was wearing a sharks hat that other time and he mentioned that TechCU now had Sharks debit cards. I had Yolanda help me and she was fantastic, she was informative, personable and sooo kind. With all my questions she had answers +more. The customer service with all the staff was amazing and friendly. I am so happy I bank at Patelco and even happier that this location is close by. If I have any banking problems or questions I will gladly go back to this location for help.
