Worse bank ever, do not let these people keep taking your money. Card was stolen and used over 44 times in 1 day. I reported it to the bank and made a police report right away. The bank assured me that the funds will be returned as all charges were pending. Now a month later after they keep giving me the run around they say I have to call each place to get my money back. You have to be kidding me. First of all I don't even know these places as some are some weird websites. I don't even know where to call. I never had these issues at other banks. They had plenty of time to cancell all the charges but also why would they allow anyone to use my card 44 times in 1 day. I never use my card at all I only withdraw my checks once a month so that's all weird activity they should of cought on the 1st transaction. So clearly they don't even do their job, this would have never happen at Chase or Bank of America. I'm extremely angry and disappointed all money is gone hundreds of dollars thanks to a careless bank.

My banking experience with this branch has absolutely been horrific. I have been banking online with a basic business account and making transfers online since August 2022. Then in January 2023 transfer services are no longer allowed on the account. The reason - the branch had them shut off because I had complained to them about the fees they were charging. This is absolutely unacceptable to treat a small business this way.

This is update to initial review .. Today, it took me several hours to finish setting up my account. Among other things, it was not clear that even though my wife and I have a joint account, we had to set up separate account log ins. Adjusting alerts is best done via Smart phone APP, but it is not clear which First Citizen Bank APP you should use. There are at least three. One is labeled (in the Apple APP Store) "First Citizens Bank FCB CA" , another is First Citizens Bank financial, and there is still a third. Once you find the right one, it then asks for user ID in the form, "customerID.userID" , but First Citizens Bank's statement doesn't indicate my customerID. The tellers had told me that I didn't need a deposit receipt, but it seemed unreliable to verbally be telling the teller the account number, so I searched on the Internet for First Citizen Bank deposit receipt. When I went to fill it out, it asked for questions I could not answer. I later learned that in my case they'll pick up my account number for the stamp I use to endorse the checks. I will say that the telephone customer service rep, Alison, was very helpful, in guiding me through the numerous steps to get things fixed.

I needed to reconcile my account and could find a copy of the check I deposited to them. i just noticed not that they don't make a copy of checks that I deposited. They only make a copy of their deposit slips which was no good for the customers. *****Chase is good in that. They make copy of the checks you deposit. How unfortunate! I hope the new bank that will take over will do a better job than OWB.

This was a great bank before the prior branch manager retired. It is a HUGE MESS now. The professionalism has declined tremendously. The Assistant Branch Manager leans back in his chair like a used car salesman chatting on the phone doesn't care how he presents himself. Yelling at customers if you ask a question. I think he forgets it's a job and that he doesn't own the bank. This is a place that needs a hidden camera so the people in corporate can see what's really going on. We could even get a bank statement print out. We were told to call the toll free number and have it mailed. When the same request was made at another branch the statement was printed in less than 5 minutes. Why put your money there?

I waited and waited for my ATM so I finally got it! I went straight to to bank to activate the card I placed the card in the ATM slot I entered the assigned pin number by them I wanted to activate the card that's it I entered to check my balance in Savings $0.00 balance !! I know I just deposited $1000.00 and change Why do I have zero balance ? So I went ahead and tried to get the balance in my checking account Balance $o.oo Hello it's the first time that I'm activating the card. Ah ha !! Now I get a reading or a message on the screen And the message reads Your card was was taken by our bank please see someone in the bank. !! Huh? Why ?? After having over 3k my card is taken and no money available I'm keeping my cool So I go inside and I asked a teller why was my card taken by the bank and why does it shows $0.00 balance in Savings and $0.00 balance in my checking account she says We do not open the ATM machines until past 3:30 pm I said to her I Must be at work at 2pm so I cannot be here at 3:30 pm So she says Then come back tomorrow and it will be available to you you I cannot believe this bank With the saving and Checking accounts the ATM card was taken and Now I must return tomorrow. Well here we are at the bank the next day I went to the same person she went to fetch the card ! I signed some release document of course she saw me yesterday but today I must show her my ID hello !? I asked her can you please go out to the ATM machine and explain to me what did I do wrong? She said Sorry I can't leave my post you must see one of our reps across frome you ! Thank you very much !!!! I then went ahead and explained the entire thing to the rep She gets in the phone and someone told her to cut my card in half and a new one will be issued. by mail meaning that I still don't have access to my. Money in savings or in checking and no card for another 2 weeks. ???????? What a nice feeling I get SMH !!

Do you people even read these reviews or do you just continue to provide bad service. I have had this bank for over 25 years. I have been hacked over 4 times. Now I want to close my account and withdraw whatever money I have in the bank and they won't send me a check. I have to go into the bank. That is not possible because I now live in Oregon. I can't even use the money that is in there. I have always had problems with this bank. I should have closed my account when I moved, but my social security check use to come there, changed that. Very rude on the phone. You need to train your employees how to treat the customer. After reading the reviews, I look for this bank to close by the end of the year.

Not happy at all with the change back to being closed on Saturdays. Very inconvenient. Dealt with it during the pandemic, but unacceptable now. Will be taking my accounts elsewhere if this doesn't change quickly, which I assume it won't.

Opened a checking account here in mid November 2020 and they had a $300 bonus promo at that time. After 3 months and fulfilling all the criteria, they didnt pay me the $300 bonus. Inquired with the bank and they said they will be paid in April 2021. Why another 90 days wait for my bonus? And there is no explaination from the bank or a time set for the payout. Very poor communication, almost shady promotion because you can never expect them to pay!

I have been with One West Bank since they opened the office on Sepulveda Blvd. Everyone very helpful & friendly. Realize due to virus things have changed, - I do not know all of the tellers as I did previously & the wait is longer - If that is all I have to worry about I am lucky.

The folks in this branch are TRULY MEGA AWESOME; however, i have complained about many issues with lack of service & care, & they don't give a crap! The HQ is worse! Its like they are disconnected to reality -- & HQ is the primary reason often employees' hands are tied!! Having the opportunity to stand out above National banks, they don't! I do not recommend the bank -- despite most lovely staff.

One West Bank is not honoring the payroll protection program instituted as part of the stimulus package by the government. Shame on them. Our business might close now, as we are limited to them( Our current banker), as other banks aren't accepting new accounts at this time.
