The Alamo Motel is an economical and low-frills option in Los Alamos. The rooms are described as old and rustic but are consistently noted as clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, with super comfy beds and claw foot tubs. The property offers a definite vibe, with cute grounds that are lit up romantically in the evenings. Guests enjoy the outdoor spaces, including a fire pit, games, and lounging areas, which are perfect for hanging out. The on-site bar is a very nice and popular feature, though drinks are considered expensive. The motel is pet-friendly, with easy parking, and is conveniently located near local businesses. While some note the bathrooms could use an update and the TV system was complicated, the overall experience is positive. The staff receives high praise for being wonderful, genuinely kind, hospitable, and super nice, contributing greatly to the welcoming atmosphere. Many guests state they would definitely stay here again.
We loved our stay here, the room was charming, and the clawfoot tub was a highlight. The location was great, and we had so much fun exploring Los Alamos.
