“Recently moved to the area and were looking for a good veterinarian. We have had so many pets over the years and our experience with small animal vets has been mediocre at best. That is until we discovered Vetco. I'm not going to lie, I was a little skeptical about Vetco at first. But from the very first time we visited Vetco Total Care on Laguna in Elk Grove, we were simply blown away. The staff has more than exceeded our expectations. They immediately treated us like family. Unfortunately, the staff of other vets that I have tried in the area always made me feel that I was imposing on them. Here was a typical phone conversation with their front desk: "Hi! this is _____. . ." They would respond: "Yesssssss?" Guys, I am not kidding. No hello. No "how are you?" just "yesssssss?" WTF. Keep in mind, I had no issue with the veterinarian. But their front desk staff (the face of their practice) were horrendous. Everybody has a bad day, but this became a pattern. It got to the point where I hesitated to call if I had any questions or concerns. That's simply wrong. Our pets depend on us to be their advocates. The outright bullying that I was experiencing with these other vet clinics could no longer be tolerated. So as a veteran business person and sales professional, I mentioned it to the doctor. . .BIG mistake! Enough about them. . .after our last visit with Vetco I told my partner of over 35 years that "this has been the best veterinary experience we have EVER had!" and he whole-heartedly agreed. Vetco sincerely takes an interest in our pets and us. We couldn't recommend them more. On top of that, if you are a Petco Vital Care member, you get all kinds of discounts and perks like free vet visits and pet food discounts. Also, if you are waiting for your pet during an in-office procedure, you can browse through the store while you wait or visit the many local restaurants and retail establishments in the shopping center. Oh, and did I mention, they offer grooming services as well! This is really a no-brainer for us from a quality, affordability and convenience perspective. This one-stop shop is guaranteed to take a lot of the unnecessary stress out of your busy lives. We highly recommend!!!”

“Our dog had a lens luxation that is basically an issue that some dogs have that causes the lens of their eye to fall out of place and is considered an emergency. The day he had this happen, our primary vet contacted Animal Eye Center to try and get us in that day and they very graciously saw us within the hour. Dr. Edwards and her staff were so sweet and comforting (I was a complete mess from having seen my dog be in so much pain all day at this point and fearing he had gone blind). Dr. Edwards explained what had happened in terms my husband and I would understand and was very reassuring which is exactly what we needed. She got our dog into surgery that afternoon and he was home recovering that night. The surgery was absolutely flawless and he is healing up so perfectly. I attribute this to not only the doctor's top notch expertise in her field, but also the clear and concise instructions that were sent home with us for his after care and medication schedule. All that being said, what truly makes Animal Eye Center the best veterinary specialist I have ever taken a pet to is the fact that they have an emergency line for their surgical patients in the event something comes up outside of office hours. A couple weeks after his surgery, we thought we were having the same issue arise in his other eye and Dr. Edwards got us in again, within the hour, on a weekend! The level of care that is being given to my fur baby by Animal Eye Center far exceeds expectations, so I am just so thankful for them and I truly feel so grateful that if this issue had to happen with my dog, they are the ones who are caring for him.”

“This vet office helped reunite my family! We are an air force family and were recently moved to South Korea. The paperwork and documentation required to bring our dog with us was so overwhelming and complicated and CHPH was so knowledgeable and helpful in getting everything together. Things became complicated when our dogs lab results did not qualify him to travel and he need more vaccines and a new lab draw sent. We ended up having to leave him for a month while we awaited the results. The amazing and wonderful Vicki spent hours checking in with the lab and communicating with us internationally on crazy timelines so we could be reunited. We are all together now and it would not have been possible without them. We have been taking our boy here since he was a baby and they have always been wonderful but they really do go above and beyond. All my thanks to the wonderful ladies at the front desk and specifically Vicki and Jordan for all they did for my family.”

“I have been taking my Shi Tsu to Dr Estes for almost his whole life. Since 2007. I found the doctor to be a very caring person and treated my fur baby very well. My little guy is a friendly little guy to all unless he picks up on something in that person and he try's to get away. A very personable dog as well as very particular about who he likes. I have dumped two grooming places because of them scaring him so bad. I have never felt pushed into buying there products, even though they are very good products. I have waited a few minutes when they get slammed, but nothing outrageous. I would recommend Dr Estes without a doubt.”
