285 Bay St, Long Beach“This hotel makes you feel like family. Everyone who works here is great. Especially the Ops manager Darnell and the bartender Robert. Two great guys who make the Waterfront the place to be in the evening. Definitely worth the stay. Its proximity to the outlets is great and there are food trucks most nights just a street away(definitely try the yellow truck Manny's-the fish tacos were delish). The views from the rooftop pool are wonderful. I would definitely stay here.
Rooms: Love the amenities in the rooms. Minimalist but with great flair. Storage for clothes is amazing and the bathroom is gorgeous.
Walkability: It's within blocks of everything here. The Museums, aquarium, shopping and the restaurants. The lighthouse isn't far either
Food and drinks: The waterfront has delicious food. My favorite was the French toast with banana and pecans.”

600 Queensway Dr, Long Beach“Beautiful location on the canal. Staff were super friendly and hotel was very clean(though strong disinfectant smell in lobby). Pool & jacuzzi available. Had a kitchenette unit which was very nice, with a King size bed. Nice, large walk-in shower. Continental breakfast was decent. Clean & felt safe at all times, inside & out. No restaurant or pub on site, but available at hotel Maya, down the road.”
“We had such a lovely stay. Our hosts, Pat and Courtney, were so nice and friendly. They’ve added so many extra touches. Breakfast each morning was delicious and so many choices. We look forward to returning!Walkability: We could easily walk to restaurants and the beach.”

3771 N Lakewood Blvd, Long Beach“this hampton inn came to our rescue after an absolutely nightmarish situation!! we checked into a nearby motel and saw no less than 4 roaches within 15 minutes of entering our dingy room that reeked of cigarette smoke. we booked it out of there and immediately started searching for nearby accommodation, and off the quick search, we found that this hampton inn had the best rates for the night and figured it'd be lightyears better than what we just went through. we called, and got redirected to what i assume was hampton inn's call center who, while a bit unclear with some things, secured us a reservation and we drove straight over. upon arrival, we were greeted by two ladies, von (vaughn? not sure of spelling) and katrina. we let them know of our situation and they were very sympathetic. katrina pulled up our reservation and warned that they might not have rooms left, but had two leads on possible open rooms (wish the call center guy had let us know this as well but what can you do). as she went and checked for an available room, von chatted with us and lifted my 6 year old niece's spirits, even going as far as gifting her a hawaiian airlines snack pouch. within 10 minutes of driving up, katrina and von had us fully checked into a room off of an extremely last minute and unlikely reservation. the room was everything we'd hoped for; sleek, bright, and so pristine my niece kicked off her shoes and excitedly dove into bed to kick around under the sheets giggling only minutes after she proclaimed she "unlocked a new fear and trauma: roaches in my hotel bed!!". we all slept soundly knowing we were well taken care of and in a clean room. we loved it so much we wanted to stay another night! none of us have ever been more grateful for a clean room, and it wouldn't have been possible (+ our moods would not have turned around) if it wasn't for von and katrina. thank you so so much ladies for being our saving grace in a horror story we'll be telling for years to come!”
“I loved my stay at this Courtyard. Definitely exceeded my expectations. The room was beautiful and the staff so friendly. My AC wasn’t working, which wasn’t a big deal to me but the staff went above and beyond to make it right. George, the engineer who came to fix it, was sharp and on it and found the problem right away. They were on it so quickly. It’s located a quick walk from the beach and the on-site parking was so handy, making the whole stay just … easy! Would definitely return! I didn’t take any photos but it was gorgeous.
Rooms: Rooms were big and comfy and had everything I needed.
Safety: This is downtown so there are homeless people but one morning when I was concerned because it was still dark they provided me an escort to my car. Super nice!
Walkability: I loved being able to walk to the beach!”

“This was my first time staying at a Marriot hotel and I did enjoy the stay. The room was nice. I asked for a room with view of the airport runway… ?. The bed was clean & comfortable. There was a fridge in the room but no microwave. The staff was very professional. There was also complimentary breakfast. Free parking. It was a wonderful stay and I’ll for sure visit again in the near future.”
“Came to Los Angeles for a couple of concerts over the weekend. We decided to stay in Long Beach. The Beach Inn Motel is located walking distance from everywhere! 5 minutes walk from the beach, restaurants and bars all around. Parking is easy and free and the rooms are modern and very comfy. Our room featured a microwave and fridge and it was really clean. Check in was a breeze. Highly recommend!”
“It's a great area. Seems like a lot of changes are happening & I'm sure there's more to come. I really like the nail salon walked over to Traders after that did some shopping. I'm going to miss the claim jumper but c'est la vie.”

“Booked this hotel last minute and I'm glad I did. I needed a quick getaway from the LA area and on a whim.... decided to book a 2 night stay. I checked in somewhat late and was greeted by Daniela. She was amazing! She was very patient, informative, and knowledgeable of the area. She gave me great recommendations on restaurants and bars in the area and also recommend things to do during my brief stay (aerial tramway was dope). Traveling alone sometimes can be a little nerve wrecking, so being greeted with good positive energy really set the tone. Thank you Daniela .The room I stayed in was cool. The partition by the sink came off a couple times, but I just popped it back in. The sink water wasn't the clearest either and the water took forever to drain. Other than that... no major complaints lol. The jacuzzi in the room was very spacious and relaxing!I was too busy being a tourist that I didn't get a chance reap the benefits of the pool, but it looked like a lot of fun. The location was great too. I was able to walk to many restaurants, bars, and shops throughout downtown. I'd definitely be back here. Stay classy Palm Springs”

3201 Pacific Coast Hwy, Long Beach“Came to Long Beach for a wedding. I arrived at 8am from the airport hoping to check in early but the hotel sold out the night before. The ladies at the front desk were very sweet and held my luggage for me. I enjoyed their complimentary breakfast while I waited. They have made to order Belgian waffles if you're into that but I had an apple and some coffee. Then I waited in their lounge and the couch was so comfortable I fell asleep for a minute (sorry ?). Check out its at 11am but they knew I was waiting and got me checked in as soon as a room was clean and available at 10:30am! The room was spacious with a fold out couch. Definitely could've slept 4 people. Luggage rack, hangers, iron and full sized ironing board, blow dryer, mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, handicap rail in shower/tub combo. I can't believe its a two star hotel! Only little things I noticed are the remote controller power on button doesn't work so I had to get up to turn the TV on and off. The windows don't open. Not sure if that's intentional or it was stuck. Some fresh air would be nice, but a fair trade off for safety as a solo female traveler. The screen to the window was slightly bent outwards on the outside. Again. Little things. I checked out at 11am and am writing this review while laying next to the pool. I didn't get into the pool or hot tub but they look clean and it's a nice spot to enjoy my coffee before heading out for the day. Grettel at the front desk seems to be new and in training and she did a great job! Highly recommend this place!Rooms: Clean and spacious. Floor length mirrors. Microwave. Full sized ironing board. Great deal! Didn't feel like a 2 star hotel at all!”
“The staff was so kind and helped us with every little thing. The rooms were clean, the parking lot felt safe, and checkout/check in was super easy.Honestly, my wife and I had a great time in LA and finding this place made it much better.”
“Not big rooms, clean, but old, lots of history and character. Staff is great, breakfast is good, and everything you could ask for within walking distance. I'd definitely stay here again!Rooms: Tiny, a bit creepy but really clean and quaintNearby activities: Shopping is close, restaurants are close, beach is closeSafety: I felt safe hereWalkability: You can walk to where you're going (shopping, restaurants and beach)”

“Stayed here after our cruise docked in Long Beach and it was so comfortable after traveling. The breakfast was really good and the beds felt like heaven. Clean rooms. Sascha was very professional and got us in our rooms a little early. I really enjoyed this ”
“I had been browsing Long Beach hotels for weeks but hadn't settled on one because none really stood out. Then I saw Breakers had just opened and I knew this was the place. And it met or exceeded every expectation. The hotel itself is stunning. Elegant, stylish, historic, but with modern comforts. The room was gorgeous but still comfortable, and functional. The views are gorgeous and you can't beat the location. But the real standout was the staff. Everyone was warm, accommodating, and went above and beyond. Perfect for a special occasion , staycation, or even if you just have a late night in Long Beach and want to stay the night.”
“Perhaps one of the best motels in that area in long Beach with its unique and elegant design the court-yard glows at night creating a vibrant and attractive atmosphire. Shops are near mostly walking distance. With all units facing the court-yard with no steps or curb in or around the rooms it's very convenient to get around with a wheelchair. Rooms are larger then avrage, spacious and very well-maintained, fresh and comfortable, well decorated, walk-in-shower, pet freindly. Good value for your money. My first choice in that area. Highly recomanded.”

“Ok so we have stayed in a lot of motels and hotels and the lady’s that were running this place on Christmas Eve deserve this review. They treated us like we were home on winter vacation from collage not complete strangers that were staying a night. We thought the rooms had fridges so they got a bag of ice and a cooler for us. Just the tip of the ice burg. On top of the treatment like we were at the Hilton the rooms are newly redone very tastefully. Somebody put some money into it and it shows I can tell you by the neighborhood that that place did not always look like that m. So whoever did it well done. Again to the staff this is the couple you help out thanks and happy new year.”

“This was an amazing fun time after growing up in Southern California and always driving past but never going in. Everyone we met working on the ship was friendly and even eager to show you hidden gems and reccomendations to make our visit even better. Extra bonus were locals dressed in period cocktail suits and gowns.Walkability: The ship itself is walkable but you will need a car to go anywhere elseNoteworthy details: It is historic so dont expect high tech extras like phone chargers.”
