My husband and I came in to get my mom's ring tuned up (also a Modern Jewelers ring) and I asked if we could look at some loose diamonds "for fun." Sam pulled out a gorgeous elongated cushion that I immediately fell in love with and couldn't stop thinking about! After trying to convince my husband it's an early push present and anniversary gift, Sam set the diamond aside and worked with my husband on a reasonable price. The great thing about Sam is that ultimately he just wants to see his clients happy! Sam took in all of my preferences and created a beautiful custom setting ring. “I was in the area and went here to get my moms ring cleaned. The very nice gentleman told me the price to clean and polish the ring. I agreed and the wait was only 10mins to have it done. When he handed it to me it looked like a new ring so super shiny and beautiful! I told him how it was my moms ring who recently passed and it was extremely dirty and now it looks amazing. I handed him the money and he refused and said he was sorry for my loss and that it was "on the house". So when the time came for me to propose to my now fiancée (she said yes! definitely because of the ring) Mark Schneider was the first and only jeweler I considered. “We travelled down from the High Desert on a recommendation to Martin's Jewelry and met with Alex to discuss adding an anniversary band to my wedding and engagement ring. As Midwest transplants we did not have easy access to our tried and trusted professionals in the jewelry business and were looking to establish a new contact.I had wanted to stack rings for many years and after meeting with Alex, it was a no-brainer to work with him and utilize his knowledge base and decades of experience to create the perfect addition to my set. I briefly chatted with him ahead of time and he directed me to his website to gather ideas. I found a few rings that appealed to me and sent the images to Alex. When we arrived for our appointment we talked about my preferences and he had so many samples for me to try on and see how they worked with my current rings. It was actually Alex who found THE ring. We further discussed options on which metal would work best and the differences and benefits to lab-grown stones. Alex was able to help us create exactly what I wanted and keep the cost within our preferred range. He advised the ring would be ready in 3-4 weeks and contacted me exactly at 3 weeks to let me know it was ready. This anniversary band adds the ideal amount of bling to my ring finger. Can't wait to work with Alex again on the next one!”

“Can't say enough nice things about this place. Called within an hour of them closing to see if they would be able to adjust the band on my Yachtmaster, and the lady on the phone was super friendly and accommodating. Showed up 15 minutes before they were scheduled to close, and met the same lady in the store who took the watch, examined it, we sized my wrist, and then she went in the back to work on it. She came out a few minutes later with the extra links in a bag, and the watch fit perfectly. She did all of this complementary, but the entire time treated me the same as a customer who was spending tens of thousands on a watch. I didn't catch her name, but was just thoroughly impressed with her, so thank you very much if you read this!! Also, the store has a very nice selection that I was able to oogle while she was working on my watch!”

“I've been here several times over the years -- I started out with little, easy things - a broken clasp here, a missing link there, etc. Each time I stopped by I was encouraged -- both by Mario's capabilities and by his and Sandy's overall demeanor. Bolstered by how smoothly the easy fixes had been, I came to them with more complicated (read: important to me) jobs to do - remove links from an heirloom tennis bracelet to create two pairs of diamond studs, transform a vintage pair of screw on art deco earrings into two pendants and things like this. Mario handled all of these with skill and aplomb and I was delighted to have found a legitimately capable jeweler in South Redondo! My most recent job for him was the most challenging and creative yet. I had an idea to turn one of my grandfather's monogram cufflinks into a signet ring (we have the same initials). I went in to Aprile, discussed my plan with Mario, we brainstormed for a bit, he sketched out a few things, we honed the design and before I knew it, he was texting me real time shots of the creative process. It was finished within 2 weeks and it's GORGEOUS. I'm thrilled with my one-of-a-kind piece and with the artistry Mario displays. So happy that I noticed their little store front way back when and that I took that initial step with them! I'm a fan and customer for the duration!”

“First as a husband that couch is very comfortable while your wife is shopping around. It was very welcoming the staff was very helpful. On our first trip in we didn't end up purchasing anything. But my wife was interested in a certain sweater. They got her number down added her to some type of list. When the sweater came back into stock she got a text message. We just happened to be on our way to a Tasting Room a few doors down from this store. So we decided to stop in check it out. On Second Glance my wife did not like the sweater. But they had a jacket that caught both of our eyes. We ended up getting that jacket. It was around $110 seemed a little high but the quality was there.”
