8091 Broadway, Lemon GroveOne of life's simple pleasures is trying new coffee shops that I've never been to before. It was definitely a pleasure to try this little place. It was cute and clean on the inside. A couple places to sit here and there, both inside and outside the coffee shop. The guy that took my order had a friendly demeanor to him, with kind eyes, his name tag said Anthony. I ordered the S'mores latte and it was so yummy. I would go back again just for another one. I also ordered a heart shaped carrot cake to give to a special someone who loves carrot cake. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area or even if you want to try a new spot. It will not disappoint.

I visited their food truck location for lunch and ended up ordering more food to bring home. From my understanding this place created the birria grilled cheese sandwich--and it shows. From the fresh ingredients to the consommé, Birrieria La Loteria is unbeatable. Make sure to grab the orange salsa!
To add to the pleasurable experience, owners Cesar and Theresa are salt of the earth people--when in doubt go with their recommendations.

I asked for spice level 4 and it was perfect, not too spicy :) It was really flavorful and the portions are large enough for 2-3 people. The mango sticky rice also was super tasty and shareable size, it was ripe and sweet. The milk thai tea was good too, however the thai milk tea was too sweet and had too much syrup in it. I would get it again but with very little sweetener. Overall I would come again. :)
