“Always find at least 1 hidden treasure on any given day. It closes at 4pm. Nice staff. Weekly discounted sale items. Very quaint thrift store. Decent prices, not like goodwill whose flipped their lids with their ridiculous pricing. .”

“Fun place! You’ll find the usual goodies like MREs, emergency supplies, Swiss Army knives, clothing. There’s a section of the store that’s full of bags — backpacks, duffles, and more!”

“Walking through the crowded aisles is like walking through that warehouse at the end of "Raiders of the Lost Ark." Whether or not you are looking for something in particular, you will find something here... Actually you will find many "somethings" as this place is a cornucopia of interesting items. Mid-century modern furniture seems to be in abundance, but turn of the century cuckoo clocks, lamps, and pretty much anything else you can imagine are yours to find; Just make sure you have a few hours to actually go through the isles, this is not a place for a cursory review. Staff is great. As for value... what is the value of a treasure?”

“I love shopping and donating here! Their proceeds support women’s organizations and the shop is run by mother and daughter duos. Everyone is super friendly and on the first Saturday they have 50% off everything! Today I got 5 pieces of clothing, a crystal dish, and a large painting for $28.”

“We went there yesterday, and it was fantastic. The gentleman who was working at the time was very helpful and overall awesome to talk to! The collection of “Junk” in the store Made me feel like a kidney candy store! If we come back to Redondo Beach from Wisconsin we will definitely be back!!”

“Such a cute little secondhand store with higher quality items. LOTS of smaller sizes which was great for me. They also have a men's and kid's section. All volunteer-run with sweet ladies and your purchase goes directly to the charity”

“This thrift store is amazing, to put it frank. Their selection and pricing are better than almost any other thrift store I've been to. I've gotten essentially steals like a $14 CD stand worth around $200 (although in somewhat poor condition) and a place to store tapes for only $4. I've gotten mugs, ice cream makers, vinyls, books, vintage TIME magazines, you can find a lot of stuff at prices that might beat stores like Goodwill or The Salvation Army.”

“I’d like to share that I was in the store today and a very rude woman was making racist comments and the two volunteers working at the store asked her to leave and she refused and then she physically assaulted of the women and it was disgusting to watch. This is a beautiful store that does great work for an amazing cause and the volunteers working there did not deserve to be treated like that. Please have respect when you shop at this establishment.”

“I recently purchased a patio set from Habitat for Humanity which I saw posted on their FB page. I immediately ran over, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. Not only did they help me find a great deal on the set, but they also went above and beyond by assisting me in loading it into my car. They had some cute furniture pieces. Their customer service truly made my shopping experience enjoyable. I highly recommend Habitat for Humanity for their excellent service and quality products.”

“I love this place ! It’s my go to for tools and odd stuff for my art , they have it all and the family that runs it are the nicest you’ll meet. Kika’s daughter runs the business now I believe and does a great job of keeping the store full and orderly yet still gives the feeling of a treasure hunt! Stop by if your ever out that way or at the Pick a parts ! Everything is always 1/2 off the listed price!!!!”

“I'd been going to the AL store in Pasadena and just moved here. This AL is fabulous! Really. They get amazingly high-end donations-- particularly designer shoes and China/crystal and artwork. (A framed antique Japanese print for $40; an antique sailing print for $20). I bring all of my nice donations here because it benefits school programs. The volunteers are all friendly. Parking can be a problem but that's a small complaint.”

“This is probably my new favorite thrift store in the South Bay area now. I called the Goodwill corporate number because I had a complaint about an incident at the Redondo Beach location, but it turns out, not all Goodwill stores are in the same region. I HAD NO IDEA!! Jose at corporate provided me with the Redondo Beach location's corporate number and explained to me that the Hawthorne location falls under southern California. I decided to stop by the Hawthorne store and was really impressed! I found some great pieces from some well known brands. A manager by the name of David was super helpful and explained to me the color of the week. I will for sure keep shopping at the Hawthorne location. Thank you!!!!”

“This is a fun thrift store located on Narbonne Avenue just a short distance off of Lomita Boulevard. When you walk into this shop you will be overwhelmed with all kinds of items. They really have a lot of stuff. One of the main things about this shop is that the prices are not very high. Whereas some independent thrift stores tend to put a high dollar amount on their items, this is not the case with this shop. Thus, you can discover some really interesting and unique finds and not have to pay an exorbitant price for them. As can be expected, the shop has a wide variety of items. They have jewelry, books, electronics, clothing, you name it. You never know what you'll find here, and it is always evolving. In terms of parking, there's a lot of street parking in the area, so getting a spot should never be an issue. Overall, if you're in the area, this is a great store to come in and take a look, you never know what you'll find.”

“Such an easy and friendly donation option! You can pull right up to a garage entrance, there’s someone there to greet and assist you, you get an electronic receipt and you’re done. Such a great way to do good. :)”

“Most fun I've had at a thrift shop in years. Been pining after an Underwood typewriter for years and Evan gave me a great deal on one, plus other stuff. Highly recommended”

“Sure is great having a lot of many different kinds of items to pick from. Thank goodness the prices are higher than some people expect to pay 'cause I can swoop in and buy it when they do not. I worked in a thrift store and loved my job. They sure are super nice and smart workers here. I will be donating again real soon.”
