1573 Martin St, LakeportI took my seven month old to tail Wagar's recently. He got into some tree sap and was definitely very sensitive to it , I think it was constantly pulling his hair. I called two other groomers locally and they were either sick or booked three weeks out. I called and explained the problem to Kimberly, and she agreed to take us that day. She is very professional and very reasonable. Clearly she loves animals. I recommend this place.

Her vet techs are compassionate about the animals and her whole staff is good. They are super busy and it was difficult at times to get appointments. But I'm forever grateful to Dr. T for her phone reassurances when my dog ate raisins and when we ran out of a dog med. she's really great.

Dr Holmes genuinely loves animals and made a connection with both my dogs. Even with my difficult chihuahua, he was so nice and patient with her. It is clear he loves what he does. He was very clear in explaining the answers to all of my questions. The vet techs and office staff were all very kind, and it was a wonderful experience.

2945 Reeves Ln, LakeportGreat place, good energy. Valeri was easy to talk to. She even took the time to send me a couple of pictures of my dog Hank with his new play pals. The look on Hank's face said it all. (Happy dog.) And speaking of Hank, he's been pestering me to let him say a few words about his stay at,"Send rover on over."Hi Hank here, I promised my mom I'd keep it short. But it will be tough because i have soo much to say. I really like this place. I have a new best pal, "Milo." He's everything you'd want in a friend. Fun, funny and spontaneous. He even looks like me After a hard morning of play we have naptime. Now, naptime is not something I usually look forward to but I actually welcomed it here. The people that work here are kind and friendly. And get this, we even get to bring our own bed and blanket for overnighters. How cool is that!? I give ,"Send rover on over" 5 plus tail wags.

Sandwiches are delicious and very high quality. Do yourself a favor and go to Angelina's in Lakeport , CA. You'll be glad you did.

4350 Thomas Dr, LakeportVisited for the first time recently. The ambiance and venue is very nice. Their tastings are $20 for four small pours, and they also have glasses for around $12. I have been to some small wineries in the area where tastings are free, so be mindful that this place is more in line with Napa wineries or with a bar/restaurant. I enjoyed all the wines, nothing super standout, but enjoyable, and there was good service when sitting at the bar. Also got to browse a small but cute farmer's market out front on Saturday mornings that ends at 1pm. They didn't seem to have food around lunchtime but have popups on some evenings, so we went for lunch elsewhere.

RED'S AT THE SKYROOM
900 Sky Park Dr, LakeportI drove out to Lakeport to see me ex in-laws and my pup. Oddly enough, we have a better relationship post-divorce than during my nightmare of a marriage lol. BUT... I digress... I'm here to tell you about this great restaurant in Lakeport, which is actually facing a municipal airport. When I say municipal, I mean, TINY. We had dinner here at their suggestion. As we walk in, there is a long bar and a few side tables. Very woody feel to the place, which I like, and all things considered, it's expected. We had to wait about five minutes for a table which was fine, for ME. Started with drinks and some appetizers. I ordered the pot stickers and soup, which was a delicious French onion soup. My EFIL (ex father in-law) had a big bowl of the soup as we has feelings crummy and croupy. Nurse Ed had to give a lot of unsolicited medical advice that night, to everyone's benefit. Pot stickers? Awesome. Had a smidge of crunchy with a burst of flavor. The soup was cheesy as ever, and hot enough to eat but not to burn. EFIL had the fish and chips, which he polished off quickly. I heard no complaints from him, which in and of itself is a miracle, so I'll have to assume it was good. The EMIL (ex mother in-law) had the 'basic a$$ bacon cheeseburger', which I actually did try and was pretty spot on. She asked for it well done... which I'm not a big fan off, but still tasty... Had lots of greens and truffle fries. I went with the 14oz pan roasted angus New York steak came with alfredo butter, steak sauce, sautéed veggies, yukon mashers. Let me tell you. I ate that thing before the in-laws were 3/4 of the way finished with their meals. Steak was ordered medium, and was perfect temp-wise. The mashed potatoes were great, nothing to brag about, but also no complaints from me. The veggies, while delicious, were lacking in portion. I wish there was more! I can't take a STAR away due to my insatiable appetite for veggies though. Just the "quick" tip... Check it out. I hear it's cooler during the day when the planes are around. I would absolutely visit again!
