I saw this place pop up in the24 hour. I needed a change to rotate into my classes at 24, I love that this place has mult classes a day, it's super clean, instructors are professional, courteous and on time. I did one class with Shawn as the instructor and I was sold, he's great and the other members there have been very gracious, such a nice change !! I would definitely recommend this place

They moved from Lake Forest to Foothill Ranch, now located in a room inside 24-Hour Fitness gym. During that time, I tried to find another place similar to no avail. All other places have training with weights, which I am not interested in. Essentially, the trainer yelling sequences of basic kick-boxing moves (2-4 moves: jab, hook, upper cut, elbow, knee, roundhouse, etc). Most, second sequence builds on the first sequence (1-3 moves). After the second, it resets to a new sequence. Every session is different enough to stay interesting yet easy enough that I don't need to think hard. Intensity is up to you. I am out of shape and exhausted by the end of warmup. After a couple weeks, I was able to pace myself through the hour. Trainers are very encouraging though. I love it and highly recommend this location. Both Allen and Shaun are great. No experience needed. Both will help with moves or sequences when needed or asked. Other members are also nice and most will help. I was able to pickup 90% after 2-3 sessions.

Been coming to CKO for a few years. It's a very welcoming environment. There is no judgment here, you can work at your own pace. The trainers are wonderful along with the members. I've done so many workouts and boxing here has always left me with a great since of pride and rush of adrenaline. Nothing compares to it. Definitely recommend CKO to anyone.

Shaun is an expert at what he does! He motivates you to try your hardest. He takes the time to teach you the mechanics of kickboxing so you can understand how everything works. I have learned so much from Shaun and I can’t wait to continue to learn more!! I love his classes!!

Been coming here since 2017. Would highly recommend CKO. Allen (owner), Shaun, and Sam are great and will help you reach your goals no matter what level you are. No matter who’s class you take, you will get a complete high intensity body workout.Special shout out to Shaun (Beastman) for always giving us that little extra push during Sunday morning circuit. Your positivity and motivation is greatly appreciated!

I've been a runner my entire life and after a hip injury left me unable to run - I really felt myself missing out on getting a good work out in. I am SO happy this gym exists - not only is it an incredible work out but all of the instructors are so positive and will really push you to the limit. I always leave feeling so good - and sweatier than I ever thought possible. If you're looking for an amazing gym environment and one of the most intense workouts - you've come to the right place.

I was a member of this gym for many years. Took classes everyday and going to CKO was always my favorite part of my day no matter what. Unfortunately, I don't live in California anymore. This gym is something I wish I could have taken with me when I left. I've lived in several states since then and have been a member of several different boxing gyms along the way. I appreciate the welcoming environment and classes at CKO Laguna Hills even more since I've left. In addition, I also like all of the new classes and instructors that Allen, the owner has added. Whenever, I come back to visit California I'll always drop in for some classes here. It will always be the favorite part of my day:)

I have been a CKO member for over 5 years now and I love going to my kickbox class each and every time. My favorite time slot is the 9:30am class taught by Shaun. His classes are always fun and engaging because he modifies each class so it's never the same workout each time. In one hour I get a great upper and lower body workout plus crazy cardio. Most recently, I attended the first 2 hrs self defense seminar taught by Shaun and Allen assisted. Shaun taught us simple moves to get away from bad situations and we practiced with a partner in class. Allen was sensitive to the fact that some people may not like to do partner work with strangers, so he gave us the option to not participate and just watch. Let's just say you learn so much more if you physically practice those moves. Because even though Shaun made it all look so easy, there were many nuances to actually perfecting the moves. The class was so informative and fun that the 2 hours went by super fast. I am looking forward to the next self defense seminar so I can learn more new moves and perfect the ones I learned previously.

CKO has given me so much more than a "cardio" based workout. My body has changed, it's more defined, I've gained muscle mass, I am stronger, more toned, and have lost weight consistently without gaining it back. My endurance is noticeably improved. Plus, there's accountability from the couches, Sean is the best btw , and without them I would not have the motivation to wake up at 5:30am 3 times a week! Thanks for all you do, it's hard to keep me consistent and motivated, but I can do it at CKO.

I’ve been looking for a good fitness workout to go back to shape 6 months ago and heard a lot good feedback about kickboxing. Since I joined CKO kickboxing classes I see a lot of change and progress in myself. I was suffering from low metabolism due to intense diets and fasting. 21 day challenge program helped me a lot to correct my mistakes regarding foods and lose more than 8 pounds. I started with 3 times a week at first and now I go 4-5 times a week plus yoga class by Cidney which is very helpful to learn the balance during kickboxing. All the instructors Allen, Samuel, Tony … are great. The whole environment and students are all very friendly and professional. It’s quite worth the money and time. It’s helping me to lost weight much faster and easily and maintain high energy and good mood.

I took Cidney's Restorative Yoga and it was much needed. Between the myofascia release exercises and stretches my body felt much looser and relaxed. Recovery is very much overlooked and I'm glad this studio offers this type of class!
