3610 Mount Diablo Blvd, LafayetteThe manager and team at this store are amazing. They remember customer names(and more importantly, pets’ names. And they really know their products - making recs on foods to try if your dog is having any issues. I’m really grateful to have them so close to where we live.

Mt. Diablo Veterinary Medical Center
3344 Mount Diablo Blvd # B, LafayetteMDVM always provides great and friendly service to our pets. My dog isn't always thrilled about having a visit, but she knows the drill, sits on the scale upon entering & goes happily with whichever tech comes out to get her. My most recent visit was for a vaccine, but I had a question for the doc regarding a past follow-up visit that required a visual. She took a quick peek and advised, and we were on our way without need to schedule another visit. Our pets health plan stayed on track. Thanks Dr Fan!!

Pacific Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital
3210 Old Tunnel Rd Suite B, LafayetteDr Luckring and staff saved my cat's life. Great service. Independently owned. Truly servicing the community. My cat's condition was rare, and we saw five vets before finding Dr Luckring at PacVet. They were able to schedule consultation, CT testing, the surgery, and two check-up visits. No other specialist in the area were able to provide support after the surgery, but PacVet could.

Pet Sitting & Training
Waiterock Kennels Inc
18 S Acres Rd, LafayetteWhen I drop my Corgi off for play time or overnight boarding I have total peace of mind that he is in a safe and caring environment. Conway loves going to Waiterock - he knows the route and gets happily excited when we near the kennel. I have also had him groomed during his overnight stays. I appreciate this added service. My pup looks and feels great after a good bath and nail trim. I've tried to do this at home but can't get close to duplicating the results.

The Tail Haven Hotel & Day Lounge
3295 Mount Diablo Blvd, LafayetteI love the simple system but I would like to tour the facility. And unfortunately it is a kennel with many dogs and my dog contracted kennel cough. The vaccine only works 50% of the time. I will still take my dog there no problem. Staff are great. Cheers

Walk, Train, Love - East Bay Dog Training
4 Ethan Ct, LafayetteHillary did a wonderful job training my unruly rescue pup. They took the time to really understand his personality and tailored their training so that he could be successful. They met with me almost weekly to train me to be successful with him. He went to them headstrong, hyper, and nippy and and came home as a polite, sweet, loving puppy. I can’t thank Hillary enough for training this puppy and being able to keep him in our family.

Kiku Sushi & Vegetarian
261 Lafayette Cir, LafayetteI love this restaurant !! They have another location in Berkeley, same menu w/ so many vegan selections !! This location is clean, spacious, well - lit & offers outdoor seating in a covered patio !! Service is quick & knowledgeable, she checked back often & they allow brown rice for the sushi for extra charge ! We've had brown rice sushi @ other restaurants but it often is not sticking together or looks like it's falling apart - but here it looked beautiful & stayed in one piece !! The seaweed salad is so colorful & fresh-looking with different colors & textures, not like the green stuff @ other restaurants! I love that there are so many vegan dishes, mains plus sushi featuring such a variety of vegetables ! My favorite is a delicious hot bowl w/ potstickers & so many vegetables in a light broth (can't remember the name :( Everything is presented with great care @ attention to details, looks as good as it tastes !!! Yummmmmm!

The Breakfast Club at Midtown
3577 Mount Diablo Blvd, LafayetteWe came here for breakfast before heading to the airport. We sat inside which is really cute and clean. Outside seating is available but we didn't have time to wait. I got the fresh squeezed orange juice, it was delicious but not $6 delicious. My husband had an omelette and I had the classic Benedict and both were good. I loved the herbed potatoes. Staff was friendly and helpful.

You will find the entire staff willing to help you plan and execute your event according to your needs - HUGE shout out to Traci and Zack who were our onsite contacts and Adam who does NOT know the word "no"! They were all incredibly flexible, compassionate, accommodating or supportive. Sideboard Lafayette
3535 Plaza Way, LafayetteI want to start out by saying that the service was very friendly, and everybody who worked there was exceedingly accommodating of my service dog. That is not the reason for less than 5 stars. In terms of seating, the options were pretty adequate. The chairs I did try were not comfortable chairs. While I was there with my service dog, three or four pet dogs came in, jumping up on people, skittering, and trying to get to my service dog. I didn't love that. Staff did not kick them out. You order up at the counter for brunch and then they give you a marker for your table and bring the food to you. The man who brought our food was very friendly and accommodating. Because I am gluten-free, I didn't have a lot of options, because most of their items that are marked gluten-free or not kosher, and I don't eat pork. This was fine with me, I was happy to eat a side salad. I let them know I have celiac at the counter, and later saw they had put a note on my order, "GLUTEN FREE!!!" Which I appreciated and is the reason for the fourth star. I paid $9.75 for a side salad. The side salad is supposed to come with a variety of toppings on it; Parmesan, shaved fennel, and Dijon vinaigrette. I was pretty disappointed with my side salad. They gave me about 2 cups of arugula, and with that much arugula, I received about 4 pieces of shaved fennel. They did also give me a few small slices of what looked and tasted like persimmon, which was a nice surprise. it came with a small side of Parmesan to put on top as I pleased. The arugula-to- topping ratio was horrendous. When they first brought it to me, I assumed that the toppings would be mixed throughout, but the fennel and persimmon that you see in the picture is the only fennel and persimmons that were in the entire salad. There was barely any fennel, barely any persimmon, and even though it was generously dressed, it did not taste like Dijon. It was very sour, like it was mostly just vinegar. It was an enormous amount of arugula to eat with just Parmesan on top. I also got a dirty chai latte. The presentation was very pretty, with a little bit of cinnamon on top of foam, but my latte did not taste like chai at all. Just sort of steamed oat milk with espresso in it and cinnamon on top. For $10, I expected just a better latte. The serving is a normal size; it comes in a cup, which is about the size of a 1 cup measure. They gave it to me with a saucer which I liked, but the cup itself did not have a handle, meaning that I had to pick it up like a bowl (well, actually, not "like" a bowl-- it is a bowl) and sip it like soup, Without something to hold onto. As somebody who has a very hard time using their hands due to a disability, this made me nervous about drinking out of the cup. It was not accessible. The people i dined with were OK with their food, but did not finish their dishes all the way. The cinnamon roll was wrapped in such a way that it was very difficult for a dining companion to take off the wrapper and eat it, and there was a very sparse amount of frosting on it. I think overall the experience here wasn't bad at all; the staff was very friendly and the food was fine. However, for just a side salad and a latte-- neither of which were very good-- I paid over $20. I feel like I would have given another star if my meal had been half or even 3/4 of the price that I paid for it. But I'm just not sure it was worth it. Parking was fine mid morning on a sunday. The music was good choices and not too loud.

Lafayette Public House
50 Lafayette Cir, LafayetteThis place used to be called The Coffee Shop, but changed ownership and is now called Lafayette Public House. They still have great coffee, albeit fewer choices of coffee beans. Their menu is decent. There are a few sandwiches, lots of pastries, and a good selection of espresso drinks. I've had their veggie melt sandwich, which was good, but had a lot of mushrooms (not listed on the menu), so ask them to hold the mushrooms if you don't like them. Their cappuccino was great.
There is lots of comfortable seating inside, and a large outdoor seating area. The parking lot has meters, so be sure to check that they are open before paying the meter.
