5511 College Ave, Oakland“This is the cutest store with so many fun and clever gift ideas for kids and adults. The aesthetics are delightful and the product selection is really good, especially if you're looking for something a little different”
“I've been going here ever since I was pregnant with my son, and now expecting my next child. Conveniently located across the Prenatal care at Kaiser. They always have an adorable collection of clothes and they have Jellycat plushies! I stopped by here just to see if they had the Jellycat turtle for my son before purchasing online, and I was able to spot it right away. Everything is fairly priced as well and the workers are always nice when I am here. Happy that this place has stuck around :) picture of my pleased toddler with his new turtle attached.”
“Excellent selection and customer service. We had a rough time planning for Christmas this year. I ordered a handful of items online and they wrapped everything free of charge and had it ready to go for us. They have a large selection of dress up toys, second hand clothing, and toys that encourage imaginative play.”
“The backpack giveaway this past Saturday was BOMB! Jumpers, nachos, plenty school supplies and backpacks, free haircuts, and a safe environment! Job well done! Looking forward to next year! Thank you all for giving back to the community!”
“Hours on Google are usually up to date. Unbeatable prices for used children's clothing, socks, shoes, etc. They carry infant, toddler, and children's sizes. Located inside Harbor House. People who work here are so nice and friendly. I always find a handful of items to bring home for less than the price of one at a more "upscale" thrift store (and what's the point of thrifting if you're paying "new" prices for things?).”
“Every city has brands that represent them and their culture and for the longest time, Oaklandish was the company to go to for your Oakland goods, but it's smaller shops like this that really promote a sense of community and growth. The owner of this shop is hella cool, he offers a selection of goods and regularly adds new items to his inventory. His prices are always fair and he is guaranteed to always show you something that works for you.”
“I often pop in here to get second hand clothes or shoes for my kids. Recently it was my son's 4th birthday and we were all home sick. He had been asking everyday for over a month if his birthday was tomorrow and if he could please have a spider stuffie. He was so sad to miss his birthday at school and I had had no time to buy him a present because we had back ti back illnesses for a month. I called Kelly's corner, they had one and asked if I could pay over the phone and have her toss it out the door to me so as not to infect anyone .she was so sweet and offered to drive the gift to my house (we lived nearby)after work. She even wrapped it in a gift bag and added a few trinkets. It made his day and meant so much to me. Thank you!”
“I love this Old Navy. I had a bad experience at another and started coming here, this is my favorite by far! The workers are awesome and knowledgeable. VALERIA assisted me and my family with superb customer service! She really is a great face for Old Navy and needs to be promoted! Awesome can do attitude with a smile! I'll look for her when I shop, I feel spoiled!”

4425 Treat Blvd Suite K, Concord“First of all, I am grateful that stores like this exist. As other reviewers said it is a bit chaotic in there, but there is a rhyme and reason to how everything is organized. Although the selection is small, they do have every size for both boys and girls and the condition of everything I've seen from clothes, to shoes, toys, gear, and books has always been good to great. I've never left without finding something wonderful. I think the prices are very fair, maybe a dollar or two above thrift stores, sometimes on par with thrift stores. I have both purchased things for my son, and sold baby gear (clothes, swings, a pack n play) that he's outgrown. She is currently only giving store credit, which again I totally understand as I imagine retail is rough right now. A phone number would be helpful as I always want to check before loading up bigger items, but she's always been open during store hours and I have never regretted a trip down. Also it would be great if you could share what you're currently in need of, so regulars could more regularly pop in with new inventory.”

3212 College Ave, Berkeley“Maggie is friggin wonderful. About a year ago I started a personal conscierge service. Needless to say I'm still learning how to shop for items that are not PS5 or Steam related. Good ole Maggie eased my anxiety and made it an overall pleasant interaction. Once again. Thank you young lady. You're the bomb.”
“I was greeted the second I walked in the door by a very friendly, smiling salesperson named Allison asking if she could help and pointing out that there was a 50% off Labor Day sale ongoing. Then at the register Wendy helped me check out and remembered me from my last visit. Talk about feeling welcomed You are lucky to have these professional women running your store. And not to forget Annie who also picked out some outfits for my friend’s newborn baby boy. I want to bring them a pizza next time for their lunchtime. They all deserve a merit bonus at least.Sincerely,Barry Tiras”
“Always some fun new rotating items! Makes me feel like I’m at the able sisters shop from animal crossing with their displays changing. The staff/volunteers are friendly and make good conversation. Decently priced home goods too!”
“I stopped by for new jog bras and not only did I find several options, but I found several options for lite hiking pants. They also had a long sleeve spf 50 white breathable (other colors available) shirt for hiking. Very satisfied with my new stylish options for outdoor mountain living!”
“This Old Navy at THIS LOCATION is one of my very favorite places to shop in this area. More than all the other Old Navy's in the East Bay. This is my first go-to for clothes. Well stocked, well defined areas for kids, women, men, accessories etc. Their brand and styles are great, but not too "out there" or boring. I would say clothes are fun and practical. Value is important - Old Navy clothes wear and wash well...but the time they wear out, the style is out of trend anyway. Clean, bright, safe and no crime worries. Not hectic like at Veranda. Always the best customer service here!”
“Very neat, well thought out
Assortment, friendly, helpful
and motivated staff. Barrier-free access, disabled parking, good value for money.
Several visits that were worth it.”

3419 Fruitvale Ave, Oakland“Man I love oaklandish! If you want some oakland gear this is the place to go! They have a high price tag BUT I do know that this company does Hella work with the community. So yeah you'll spend a bit but it's worth it. I'd highly recommend going here for any of your oakland gear needs. 10/10.”

3277 Lakeshore Ave, Oakland“I purchased some jeans GAP online during at 50% off sale. However, one pair did not fit well and I wanted to exchange it for a slim cut. Not having had to do an online return, I text chatted with a customer service rep and she explained the steps to return the pants, reorder and pay for the new pants and that it would take up to 25 business days for my return to be processed and credit to be issued. Not wanting to deal with the process, I decided to do the exchange at a store. GAP has been closing many locations and stores are few and far in between. Luckily the nearest store was only 9 miles away at the Lakeshore area and I found a parking space down the block. There was no wait and I was able to walk up to the cashier and explained my intent to do an exchange. She said I would be credited for my purchase, but I would have to purchase the new jeans at the current price and not at the price I paid, which didn't make sense. She said she would get a manager to help me. A manager came and I explained my situation and he checked if the pants I wanted was in stock and it wasn't. So he ordered it online and it would be sent to me and processed my return. The pants went down in price so I even go a credit for the difference. I was happy to get my exchange done at the store and not have to deal with the steps required for an online return. It was not simple like a return on Amazon. Though the cashier did not understand the exchange I wanted to transact, I appreciated that the manager made the exchange transaction seamlessly.”
“Exceptional service. They also answer their phone and I don’t have to argue with a robot. Amazing! ? Always a happy customer at this stores location thank you guys!”

1179 Locust St B, Walnut Creek“Oh. My. Gosh. 10/10! My grandmother chocked on the drawstring of the Nike shoe on display but Bella performed cpr! Then Maia fell through the ceiling to perform the life saving final compression. Unfortunately grandma was hit by a bus last week, but I will forever remember the Tilly’s employees that saved her!!!!”
“Kinda screams 'old lady store' from the window but...when you go in, you can almost always find what you need. The buyers are great and they have solid selections in all of the categories of the 'department store'. Nice to be able to get your kid some sneakers without having to "do" Walnut Creek. I appreciate all the locations but generally favor Orinda, though I'm a Lafayette resident...”
“Wonderful wonderful wonderful local Lafayette shop that has an amazing selection for your little one!!! An absolutely gem with a wonderful selection ... especially of stuffed animals from Slumber Kins and an awesome and helpful staff!!!”
