“First of all, I am grateful that stores like this exist. As other reviewers said it is a bit chaotic in there, but there is a rhyme and reason to how everything is organized. Although the selection is small, they do have every size for both boys and girls and the condition of everything I've seen from clothes, to shoes, toys, gear, and books has always been good to great. I've never left without finding something wonderful. I think the prices are very fair, maybe a dollar or two above thrift stores, sometimes on par with thrift stores. I have both purchased things for my son, and sold baby gear (clothes, swings, a pack n play) that he's outgrown. She is currently only giving store credit, which again I totally understand as I imagine retail is rough right now. A phone number would be helpful as I always want to check before loading up bigger items, but she's always been open during store hours and I have never regretted a trip down. Also it would be great if you could share what you're currently in need of, so regulars could more regularly pop in with new inventory.”

“This Old Navy at THIS LOCATION is one of my very favorite places to shop in this area. More than all the other Old Navy's in the East Bay. This is my first go-to for clothes. Well stocked, well defined areas for kids, women, men, accessories etc. Their brand and styles are great, but not too "out there" or boring. I would say clothes are fun and practical. Value is important - Old Navy clothes wear and wash well...but the time they wear out, the style is out of trend anyway. Clean, bright, safe and no crime worries. Not hectic like at Veranda. Always the best customer service here!”

“I called BoxLunch to see if they could put an item on hold for me and I was able to pick it up the next day. I had a previous gift card that was reimbursed for a cancelled online order. This ended up locking the balance of my gift card due to their system. Hailey was so kind to call customer service for me to resolve the issue. Her efforts did not go unnoticed. 3 calls later and being on hold for 20+ minutes, we were finally able to unlock my funds and use my balance for my purchase.Afterwards, we decided to do more shopping. Mariah rang us up and was so patient throughout our transaction, despite the complexity of our situation. Overall, I was very satisfied with my shopping experience during this busy holiday season. “I had a child a year ago and I was very nervous to come in and try on jeans for the first time in a year. I grabbed a variety of sizes and when I tried them on I realized none of them fit me. To my surprise, the fitting rooms now have a tablet that shows what you have and you can request different sizes. I requested other sizes and the worker brought them to me quickly, she was wonderful! If it weren’t for the tablet and worker I would’ve just given up, left, and I would have been upset. I had one of the best experiences at this store so far!”

“Cute place full of a lot of clothes choices. The always have sales. Especially now for back to school. I was surprised by the holiday clothing options. It's so cute!The store is pretty small and very packed with shelves and merch. You may bump into something or someone. So go there first before other stores to be more comfortable. Worth a visit, though.”

“All Uniqlo stores are an excellent look inside and outside. This one in Sunvalley Shopping Center is no exception. The store is spotless. All merchandise is very well displayed. Shopping in Uniqlo is an enjoyment! The store layout is pretty much the same as before the pandemic. The clothing they carry is similar to a few years ago. They're mostly very simple and comfortable designs. One of the significant differences between pre-pandemic and post-pandemic is the prices. The price of most of the items is higher than before. Also, they have way fewer items on sale and almost have nothing on clearance anymore! No more bargain items now! I still like comfortable clothes from Uniqlo. But I don't have to motivation to shop in the store anymore without the bargain items! Lol!”

“Super super cute earrings, love that they do piercings of the ears. And they have the cutest press on nails ever. The store is definitely worth taking a quick peek in while at the mall to find something that is inexpensive, good quality, and quite unique.”

“I’ve been shopping at the location in Walnut Creek and they have horrible service. I decided to go to the location at Sunvalley mall the other day and the store manager was very helpful. 5 stars for the store manager!! She has really good customer service and knows what she’s doing. Thank you for a great experience at your location. Will definitely be back to get my kids more clothes.”

“The sale prices were great but I was disappointed that I didn't find more. At least the location at Sun Valley Mall in Concord has a Women's Plus Size department but their Buyer is definitely missing the mark about what plus size women want to wear. Mid rise pants are NOT one of them. Maybe that's why they were on sale but ample stock...not moving. I was disappointed with the quality of displays. Some merchandise had no signage or price tags, I passed them by. Other racks of clothes did not match the signage of what should be hanging there. I used to work for JCP many years ago, in a smaller store, but we were always at the top of our district. And we got the employee perks/discounts that came with it. They probably don't do that anymore. And my old store isn't there anymore, but I still know what is expected when I walk into a JCPENNEY.”
