“The selection of plant containers is overwhelmingly awesome with styles for nearly any look. We purchased a large planter for a tree and smaller bowls for succulents.”
“Very community-oriented independent nursery. I love that they frequently host free classes for people to come and learn. There is a good assortment of fruits and vegetables, and I was very impressed how lowly priced fruit trees and plants like grapes, blueberries, and figs were. They are one of the only local shops I can find bareroot strawberries (5 for $3). Also, the seed offerings inside were really good in terms of varieties and prices. They also had onion and garlic (including elephant!). Very friendly staff that seem to enjoy their work.”
“I stopped by this weekend for a few small plants and loved the selection. Not knowing too much about plants, I was helped by Khaalid and was directed towards plants that would be suitable for my home setup. They were kind enough to patiently explain to me proper plant care without making me feel dumb. The rest of that staff was also kind in helping me at the checkout. 10/10 will be back again!”
“Very good service Lina and Sussie were very polite and understanding on the type of design of flowers I needed. I bought roses from this place and they lasted up to a month. Highly recomendable.”
“I like the place people are friendly and helpful .... it almost seems a labor of love more than a business.4 stars because of 'the rest of the story'Alas, I have had poor success, not totally certain why on some ... the Fuji has quintupled in size in 11 months , a cherry (& other) died almost instantly ... I am accepting it as 'it is what it is' though uncertain where 'I' failed .... so for now still 4*”
“I worked there about 11 years ago and I was very happy to see it still thriving! My fiance and I stopped in to pick up succulents to use for centerpieces at our wedding that was happening that week. Great selection! We were able to get more than what we needed for our wedding! Will definitely stop by again next time I'm in San Diego.”
“I like this store in general. It's close to my house and there's always a lot of employees to help. It feels like they are very seasonal based so you're getting plants that will grow for the time of year. A lot of items are natural/organic. However the prices all seem super inflated compared to other stores. I want to support a neighborhood store but it's hard to justify with the high markup.”
“We purchased a blueberry tree/bush that was covered in berries already! The owners were super helpful and the prices were extremely fair. I also saw many lychee and longan trees that were also bearing fruit!”
“Two older ladies were working the garden center and definitely had thay vibe that they have been in the garden most of their life. Needed something inside and a guy in the door area was more than helpful. The experience was like back in the day when you could find old tradesman working the isles”
“Great place to pick out fruit trees. They are very helpful and help you out on what you are looking for. Was invite by the owner David to come back when the trees have fruit. I'll be taken him up on that offer, will make up my mind on which cherry tree I want.”
“Robert, Irving, and Antonio are some of the most helpful and informative associates I’ve met across San Diego. They are professional and approachable and make every experience I have at site one Chula Vista enjoyable. This is the best location for all your irrigation supply needs.”
“Very happy with this nursery , the big fat green one is the one I got from there . He didn’t have change so he gave me 2 plants for free on two back to back occasions ! ? they don’t stand over your shoulder like some nurseries .”

“Such a cute nursery ❤️ all the women there are so sweet and helpful. I’m a new plant mom so they were very helpful in showing me plants that are easy to take care of, very good prices too. Highly recommend! They also have a rewards system!”

“If you are fun and funky and are missing something familiar. Hurry here! They speak your language! You can't move in, but you can revisit this eclectic assemblage of lovely items anytime and gift them away to others of our kind. Have fun, maybe a laugh.”
“I am in love with this quaint little store. Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable about the plants. I decided to pick up a prayer plant for my mom because I think they are so neat. I'd been trying to buy a piece of it on Amazon but after seeing it on the shelf, it was calling my name. There are so many adorable items aside from plants. Believe me, I was tempted to buy way more than one plant. I can't wait to see this guy that I bought thrive.”
“First off. He is a neighborhood business. Been at that location for long time. You don't stay in business. By giving bad service. Nice man smart great service. Store well stocked. 5 stars all day.”

9229 Harris Plant Rd, San Diego“Best prices in town for DG, road 2 base,And many other soils. The rules are you have to wear a hard hat and a bright vest. The soils yard is in the back of the complex and the pay trailer is on your way to the back half way through the grounds. The speed bumps are kinda high so drive slow. Lunch time is usually the best time to go to beat traffic.”
“I had the best experience here (6/23/2024). The air-condition went out at my girlfriends home during the hottest week of the year. Our main concern was for grandma's health and wellbeing, so we quickly needed accessories for the portable AC units. With minutes before the store closed and doors closing, the manager gave grace and allowed me to shop for the items i needed. The entire team was very professional and friendly. Thank you! ? ?”
“I'm really impressed by their customer service always helpful and smiling .went in to buy a sprinkler ,and came out with what I needed to finish up some painting and gardening the prices were great .”

“We found a great Christmas tree at Home Depot. Service from the guys working the tree area was superb. The guy cut the trunk so it was straight and trimmed the bottom branches. He put it ito the orange netting and even offered to load it for us. No need, I was perfectly capable of tossing it into the back of the pick-up. They had Noble firs and Douglas firs that I saw in a variety of sizes. We scored a 6'-7' foot Douglas for $54.98.”

7530 Broadway, Lemon Grove“I was able to make a commerce-old "special order" and pay in cash instead of online ordering myself.
I am very glad that old ways are still plausible.
'Also glad there are a little less catalogs and directories in the world, but hope they do not go away.”
“This was a cool store I went in there to get one item and one of leaving with 12 the stores were really organized and so were the people they were friendly and kind”
