“We had an exceptional experience at Grande Colonial. We love historical buildings, and they preserved the past well and still had all the living details new and high quality. The staff in particular stood out for being more than customer-service-friendly, but having genuine enthusiasm and kindness. You can tell they enjoy being there. The restaurant was excellent (it’s Michelline rated) and I would highly recommend the Chilaquilas for breakfast.”

“Such an amazing location and staff. I accidentally left my coat there (for a tad too long) and they were so kind and accommodating and shipped it the next day after I had called fully expecting it not to be there anymore. We had a lovely stay and couldn’t recommend them more. Thank you!”

“Overall a really great hotel. A couple of minor drawbacks but would highly recommend and will definitely return.

Positives: Beautiful BIG modern rooms with balconies. Lots of storage. If you get a high floor room you’ll have beautiful views. They have an electric kettle in the room which I loved. Nespresso machine in room as well. 5 minute walk to a street with a ton of local restaurants and kayak rental shops. 10 minute walk to beach. Has a nice restaurant and bar on the rooftop. They have bikes to rent. Front desk employees were helpful and efficient. The lobby and outside are beautiful, especially at night. Didn’t have any issues finding a parking spot despite hotel being busy.

Neutral: The traffic can be horrible around the hotel, so if you are driving be prepared to be in bumper to bumper traffic at times. Hotel can’t do anything about it so it’s not really a drawback, just an FYI.

Negatives: AC worked but wasn’t very cold. It wasn’t too hot but would have liked a cooler room. Keeping the patio door open at night was nice.”
