“I've organized two 300+ people plus parties at this venue with LCFCC and would return without a doubt. The coordinator, Joy, and her staff were professional, experienced, considerate, and invested in helping make sure our event was successful and our guests had a great time. 5 stars for the entire staff. The venue itself has a naturally amazing view, day or night, which reduces the need for heavy decoration. On-site parking was ample and close. The view is also amazing from the lot. Venue has multiple rooms to choose from, we booked the entire space and was able to create activities specific to each. We selected the classical buffet amd various passed appetizers, overall the taste and quality was great. I had no complaints from the guests, all complements. Salmon is challenging to prep for large groups, and they've delivered consistently. Bar was well-stocked and bartenders were solid. Venue can provide all your standard party material and some AV. We had our own vendors for some activities, which was straightforward to arrange with the coordinator. Price was reasonable considering the included amenities onsite. Joy, the coordinator, and the team leads were onsite and actively monitoring all night to ensure a smooth event flow.”

“While this is now a private condominium complex of sorts, it is still a beautiful building. I would have loved to have been able to see the inside. It is something special to see. The building is celebrating their 125th anniversary with a gala in March with proceeds used for restoration.”

“My buddy and I needed to knock out 2 hours because I drove my wife to the Pantages theatre to see Momma Mia. My buddy found this place on line. We went and what an awesome place. Lots of comfortable couches and large chairs. Tables and many ash trays and torches on all the tables. They have their own house blend cigars. I am a Maduro fan so we got two cigars. The cigars were recommended by the friendly girl that works there. There is no alcohol but they have soda and water. The price was fair and they have a bunch of TVs. It was a great time and we enjoyed the cigars!! I will definitely be going back when my wife wants to go to the Pantages again!! GREAT PLACE and I will be back!!”

“I just celebrated my 40th birthday at Wine & Design with a few friends and could not wait to write this review! We all had a fantastic time! I loved that I was able to bring some small easy food items and non alcoholic drinks for my guest to enjoy. Booking the paint night was a very easy process! Once I confirmed my day, a link was created and I was able to send the link to my guest so they could reserve their spot. Now for the painting itself. I am not artistic at all! But the instructor made sure to explain everything step by step, it was so easy to follow. We had fun music playing, some delicious wine from the bar! My friend bought a bottle of Rosè for us and it was perfect! The whole experience was fun and relaxing! It was the perfect way to celebrate my milestone birthday! Also to top off their amazing guest service, I left my purse behind and Lisa the owner was so kind to bring it to my home! I highly recommend Wine and Design for your next event!”

“We absolutely loved our stay at Bissell House!We were looking for something more charming than a big-box hotel, and Airbnbs have become too much work quite frankly with all of the “rules” that come with them. Bissell House was absolutely perfect – the owners put so much care and thought into the place. I couldn’t stop taking pictures and videos – the whole place was decorated to perfection and made you feel like you were right at home.The complementary breakfast was also incredible! We had a yogurt parfait and French toast. The service was incredible – we didn’t have to lift a finger.I highly recommend Bissell House. It is well worth the price (which honestly wasn’t bad and is comparable to what hotels are today with all of their added fees). I hope anyone who stays there has as magical a time as we did.”

“We had a networking event for college students and industry professionals and the Chloe's venue and staff were amazing! The food was delicious and the staff was accommodating with all our requests. This was the first time we hosted an event like this and they were great at rolling with the punches as we figured stuff out. The space was unique and fit our needs perfectly. They were able to play whatever kind of music we wanted and had a mic on hand. We wanted to split up into different groups throughout the night and there was so much space to spread out. We also enjoyed using the pool table at the end of the evening. Highly recommend this venue!”

“This place is absolutely adorable. If I lived down south, I would have my children come here to play or host a birthday here.My family were in town and needed to kill some time. We were going to find a local park when we drove by this place. It looked interesting and it was enclosed so we didn't have to worry about chasing after children in the street.It cost 35 dollars for two kids for all day use on a weekday. Beautifully decorated for a pretty party. Ball pit, slide, free coffee and tea.The worker was very considerate. My son has some sensory issues so she turned off the music while we were there so he could have a better time.”

“I have been to this place multiple times, for weddings or other types of parties. The food is very good, and the service is excellent.Only one thing I dislike about this banquet hall is the chairs. They have very hard glass chairs. After sitting for an hour, you start to get a backache and want to walk around or go home. I wish they would replace them with softer chairs.”

“I watched this show last week but I couldn’t get enough so watched it again today. We drove from San Diego, it was well worth the trip. This is one of my daughter’s best shows ever. But showcase the “best of…” the restaurants offerings.In this case the food was tasty…IF you have the stomach capacity of a 4 year old. You know those fancy restaurants that have one or two bites of food and some swirled sauces on the plate for presentation… welp, this was a version of that.Portions were ridiculously small almost angry worthy.The food quality and flavor is good but cmon, 4 pieces of tofu? In an Italian restaurant?Beet salad with literally one slice of beet and 1.5 bites of cabbage?It was like getting served after dinner mint sized portions for your actual meal.Server was nice, I’d give a 4 out of 5 since he did not follow up at all after the initial order or check on drinks.Oh and an automatic 20% gratuity on the check.All in all the food is tasty, service is good by today’s lower standards, but the price to value ratio is -5 starsBut hey if you’re on a diet, this is the place to go!!! 5 bites and your whole meal is done!!Might be worth a chance to try again on a regular menu and dining evening…we’ll see”

“We held one of our pre-wedding events at the University Club of Pasadena ballroom and it was wonderful. Cinthia and her team did an outstanding job accommodating us and our Indian traditions. They allowed us extra space and time when we asked and let us have lots of flexibility in our design choices. The space is clean and the lights are lovely. They set up a platform, let us use space to store supplies, hooked up the screens, and offered coffee and tea anytime.The food was to write home about! We got to do a tasting of the food and gave the chef some notes. And boy did he deliver! We had a 3-course Mexican meal with chipotle salad, enchiladas with rice and beans, and flan! Our other meal was raved about by guests for days. We also had a 3-course Thai menu with Tom ka hai soup, eggplant curry with veg noodles and egg rolls, and Thai iced tea panna cotta. It was fantastic.We would love to host another event here again. It’s just lovely! Thank you!!”

This was the single best experience with a caterer I’ve had in all my party planning years — great food, super collaborative (and helpful) planning, highly tailored and themed menu with tremendous creativity and a BLAST having them serve the party. The themed menu and decor were the literal talk of the party and all my friends are following up asking for her contact info. Simply fanstastic.”

“This is a great local ballroom studio for people wanting to learn all types of ballroom dance. The dance floor is huge with plenty of room for multiple lessons going on at the same time. There are some afternoons or evenings that have social dance hour, so you might want to find out when those events are... whether you want to attend at those times, or you want to avoid scheduling a lesson during those times, Lol.Many years ago we had a bad experience when out of the blue, the management decided they did not want children dancers in the studio. My son was training in ballroom in preparation for a competition. His partner was actually the professional ballroom teacher's daughter. But we were forced to go to another studio to dance. Needless to say, that was not a good experience. However, I understand that management has changed, and now, under the direction Brenda, it has a much friendlier atmosphere and routinely there will be young students training there as well. Definitely this is a training ground for a future professional competitors, as well as a great place if you want to be motivated or inspired by seeing what others can do, as well as take their group lessons.”

“We just celebrated my daughter’s birthday in their Glendale location and we loved everything about this place. The owner was sweet and wonderful to work with, her workers were friendly and attentive towards us and our guests. The venue itself is THE perfect place to celebrate your big day and the best part of everything was how happy my daughter was. She literally couldn’t stop smiling. Our guests kept telling us how much they enjoyed the party. We’ll definitely be back.”

“We came here for the Halloween 45 Years of Terror Convention. Very cool place and very big. The space is very clean and they have plenty of clean bathrooms. Multiple entrances into the convention center. There are parking decks all around the center. The panel room was very nice and hosted the afterhours party. I believe they always host this event and I hope they do it again at H50.”
