“We could not have asked for a more perfect venue than the La Canada Thursday Club! We attended one of the venue's quarterly open houses. We had all of our questions answered and left with a list of preferred vendors. These vendors have been with the venue for what seems like forever so that was a good sign. Working with Ani at the club really put us at ease throughout the entire planning process. She was attentive to every detail and helped us understand what worked best at the club. She supported us, our families, and everyone who was involved in our wedding. If you are planning a sweet and loving wedding with your closest family and friends, this is the venue for you! The outdoor garden and courtyard are gorgeous. The indoor space is warm and cozy. It is truly a neighborhood gem!”

“I've organized two 300+ people plus parties at this venue with LCFCC and would return without a doubt. The coordinator, Joy, and her staff were professional, experienced, considerate, and invested in helping make sure our event was successful and our guests had a great time. 5 stars for the entire staff. The venue itself has a naturally amazing view, day or night, which reduces the need for heavy decoration. On-site parking was ample and close. The view is also amazing from the lot. Venue has multiple rooms to choose from, we booked the entire space and was able to create activities specific to each. We selected the classical buffet amd various passed appetizers, overall the taste and quality was great. I had no complaints from the guests, all complements. Salmon is challenging to prep for large groups, and they've delivered consistently. Bar was well-stocked and bartenders were solid. Venue can provide all your standard party material and some AV. We had our own vendors for some activities, which was straightforward to arrange with the coordinator. Price was reasonable considering the included amenities onsite. Joy, the coordinator, and the team leads were onsite and actively monitoring all night to ensure a smooth event flow.”

“It was an absolutely pleasure working with Samera from 409 Woodbury. I took some photos of her space. The event space is truly a wonderful find! Her prices are fair and there are options to rent out either one room or the entire place. The outdoors area is spectacular! I can envision many weddings here and all sorts of gatherings.

Samera did a stellar job on making the space feels inviting, modern/rustic and with a hint of elegance. If you have an eye for design like I do, you will see endless possibilities in her space. I highly recommend you check it out for yourself.”

“While this is now a private condominium complex of sorts, it is still a beautiful building. I would have loved to have been able to see the inside. It is something special to see. The building is celebrating their 125th anniversary with a gala in March with proceeds used for restoration.”

“My buddy and I needed to knock out 2 hours because I drove my wife to the Pantages theatre to see Momma Mia. My buddy found this place on line. We went and what an awesome place. Lots of comfortable couches and large chairs. Tables and many ash trays and torches on all the tables. They have their own house blend cigars. I am a Maduro fan so we got two cigars. The cigars were recommended by the friendly girl that works there. There is no alcohol but they have soda and water. The price was fair and they have a bunch of TVs. It was a great time and we enjoyed the cigars!! I will definitely be going back when my wife wants to go to the Pantages again!! GREAT PLACE and I will be back!!”

“The Theater: Very small & intimate theater, every seat is a good seat. They do have clean comedy shows every month.

“I have been to this place multiple times, for weddings or other types of parties. The food is very good, and the service is excellent.Only one thing I dislike about this banquet hall is the chairs. They have very hard glass chairs. After sitting for an hour, you start to get a backache and want to walk around or go home. I wish they would replace them with softer chairs.”

You can view current/new Netflix movies as well as classic films programmed by the American Cinematheque. Absolutely worth a visit; a unique Los Angeles experience.”

“This small, boutique hotel deserves every 5 star rating that it has!Check in was fantastic. I got a text the day prior to our arrival confirming details and providing check in instructions. The metro stops just a few blocks away, so it's easy to walk to if you don't want to bring a car (which there is free parking for as well).We booked the chapter 2 room, which I was worried might be kind of small and dark, but the room itself looked even better than the pictures and was very spacious and very light. The bed was very comfortable with a selection of pillows.The in room amenities were great, with a pour over coffee maker and delicious coffee and tea, really nice Le Labo toiletries, plates, utensils, bowls, cups and wine glasses at the mini bar and even a bottle of Dr. Bronner's to wash up with. There was also a record player with records which was fun and this old timey game which was also unique and fun.The location was great with being able to walk to the Covell Bar, tacos, sushi, Brazilian, coffee, pretty much any kind of food that you'd want. It was also a good workout to walk up the hill to the Griffith Observatory.Also amazing, no added resort fee. It's definitely out of the way and non-conspicuous, but if that's what you're looking for, this is an amazing hotel!”

“This was my first time attending an event at the Moose Lodge. I'd been hearing about and seeing advertised events for quite some time, so I was very excited when a friend invited me to go to a Blues dancing event that included a group dance lesson. I have to say that it wasn't what I expected. It was so much more! This is a whole scene. I consider myself to be a good dancer and have really come to love both country line and blues dancing, but you could tell, as the room quickly filled up, that these peeps knew how to really dance. It was incredible to watch and participate in. It was well worth the cost of the $20 cover charge. I will definitely be coming back with my husband for the next one.”

“So this is a cute little venue in the middle of Pasadena. First of all, I would like to thank the University club of Pasadena for being here at all. Fun fact, every wedding I'm invited to. Every one of them! I have to drive some untold number of hours to go to a destination for people who I adore that I will talk to for less than 2 minutes. And then I'll spend the rest of the time saying weird stuff to my friend's family and other friends who I have never met. And I will probably end up as a footnote to the wedding stuff. Oh hey you remember that weird guy that talked about his foot fetish? Oh, Alex? That guy sure talked a lot about that mental health stuff called attachment theory? Oh yeah dude was kind of weird. I think he has issues for giving himself. That's the kind of stuff that I don't want to deal with at a wedding and whenever I have to drive more than an hour to get to a wedding which is almost every freaking time. I have to deal with it but because University club of Pasadena open their doors to my friends I did not have to do that. I only had to drive 10 minutes from Sierra Madre to find myself a nice cozy parking spot because I showed up a little bit early. And let me tell you the staff they were on point. They treated us like true guests. The mixologists or bar keeps were superb. They were snarky. They made our drinks stiff and our faces happy. The guy that looks like Gavin newsom was a delight. A real slice of a guy. The gown that served me a shot of whiskey before I sang I Believe in a thing called Love by the darkness. I'm blowing Kisses at you. So the venue is spacious. There was plenty of dance floor. There was plenty of space for people to sit through the ceremony and I just have to tell you that I loved being here. It was such a great place for my friends to have a truly wonderful and beautiful day. And I'm glad that I got to sharing it. And if this chorubic faced ginger bearded man could find such Joy. Just watching other people enjoy themselves. Imagine yourself here enjoying yourself or letting other people enjoy the things that you enjoy. Can you even imagine that? No, of course not because I'm the one with the imagination. You're the one reading this. Go watch my favorite band. The go home Becky's streaming live now. Not really. “After looking at several venues we decided to tour Kaladjian banquet hall. Hovig and Ashot were able to give us an excellent tour and we finally decided to have our wedding here. I can say it was one of the best decisions and best experiences. The food was phenomenal and the staff was fantastic. The dance floor, stage, and dining room chairs were top of the line and very elegant. The staff was professional and were dedicated to making our wedding amazing!”
