“Amazing bank, especially for small business! In the early years they gave my business a line of credit, when BofA wouldn't even consider it. They see me and my business as real people, have believed in us and have increased our credit line over the years, helping us grow. They truly are a community bank. If you want a bank that sees you as a person, knows your name and works with you individually, than Community Bank of the Bay is for you! I highly recommend them! PS. Now that my business had grown BofA has tried to get our business back, but because Community Bank was there for me when the business was small, and when times were tough I am sticking with them! Justin Sloan at 555 Mission Street in San Francisco should deserve some recognition by management for he seemed to be the very few employees that has revived my faith within the banking industry of late. He is always very helpful, professional and responsive to my concerns and needs throughout the years especially during the Covid Pandemic! Unlike some of his colleagues whom are great at providing lip services or even throw a monkey wrench at the works by telling other truly helpful good employees in the branch such as Fantasia Jackson that she cannot fax application to Headquarters for “self- directed brokerage accounts.” This happened two weeks ago even though I was instructed telephonically to do so by a supervisory employee with customer service earlier the same day when all else had failed, i.e. electronically/ via internet to open aforementioned account! With banking hours being cut back including services by most banks, it has been a refreshing experience to know that bankers such as Justin and Fantasia are still around to complete the important mission set forth by their charismatic CEO and Chairman Jamie Dimon of JP Morgan Chase & Co.In spite of the limited resources or encouragement Justin and Fantasia do their best to help out customers like myself that require a service dog to get around!Being the largest bank in this great nation, I believe it is important that Chase Bank management should reward good employees and weed out the bad ones for many large banks and corporations had failed of late because their leaders had failed to discern such differences in its rank and file!Finally, it is my fervent hope that Chase Bank would integrate the few decent employees from First Republic Bank into Chase Bank on a permanent basis for they are part of the JP Morgan Chase family now!”

“I go out of my way just to come to the branch in Pinole,CA. When you call the number listed online you get to speak to someone instead of a machine which is unheard of. Only downside is no matter how much money you have in your account whether it is $3,000-$3,000,000, for the first year you can only use $3000 on your card of it per day. So a home remodel you will have to be a check if over 3k.”

“After reading reviews about this location and the one on Shattuck, I came here to open an account. Glad I did. Their employees are so helpful and nice!!! Particularly Amarita and Jessica. They walked me through the process of opening a business account. Amarita even researched something with me, which proved to be helpful because when I got home I wouldn’t have found the information on the website had I not seen it at her office.Chase is so much better than Bank of America. And apparently are the largest in America so we don’t have to worry about it going under like recent banks around here have.Super happy with my experience and glad I came here (which is further away) to open a new account.”
“Quality/Quantity - I was not going to write a Yelp on them, but this is my second visit in a month and both times have been a 5 star experience. Previous visits were negative (years ago).Our favorite branch is SF Geary with Katrina the branch manager. She is amazing; one of the two best employees of the company in my opinion!! Too bad that location is closing or has closed.Kieth was good, took care of all my needs in a very timely fashion.The security guard was even better; she greeted me in the parking lot, walked over to open the door for me, and went out of her way to say goodbye when I was leaving.Oh well, no coffee or fresh baked cookies today? Kieth said the cookies got burned...My previous recent visit was just as positive; sorry I did not get names.But the security guard, an older gentleman, also went out of his way to open the door for me. Atmosphere - Good size branch. Small size parking. But plenty of metered street parking.Service - See above, your team has improved so much at this location. I look forward to coming here more often.Price - N/A.
