“I stopped by Arlington Wine & Spirits on the recommendation of a friend just before Christmas for a couple of gifts. I was looking for a few unique spirits that I wouldn't find at BevMo. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and after a couple of questions got me exactly what I was looking for. I'll definitely be back.”

“Love this brewery bar! Everyone is so welcoming. My personal favorite was the lemon grass beer. So flavorful! I got some to go as well. There was a Korean food vendor from SF outside the venue so we got some snacks to go with the bar. Will be back !”

“They have everything here. They have things you've always wanted to try, things you didn't know you wanted to try, and things that no one ever should try. Every time I go in I end up having a nice conversation with one of the employees and I find something new and interesting (as well as the thing I came for). Do yourself a favor and give yourself time to browse and soak in all the variety for a bit. It's well worth a visit.”

“I ABSOLUTELY love this place. Let's start with the food and wine selection. They have a great wine selection with a great price range (anywhere from $12 to $300 bottles) and a great geographic representation. I also love that they have so many fun wine events (e.g., they have pair the wine to the country tastings which definitely sound fun). The food is AMAZING. They have so many great fresh cheeses and meats that they incorporate into their sandwiches and charcuterie boards. I personally had the prosciutto Apple Brie sandwich which was PERFECTION. The bread was perfectly toasted and the sweetness of the apple paired so well with that Brie and prosciutto (I added some fig jam to my sandwich at home - it was a game changer!) The restaurant itself is also very spacious and accommodating of larger groups. The staff is friendly and always walking around to see if you need any guidance.”

“Open late until 2am, carry huge selection of liquor and wines, mixers, sodas, groceries you'd expect from your neighborhood convenience store and the guys behind the counter are always professional and courteous. The reason I give it a four and not a five star is parking can be a huge challenge.”

“I go here mostly for specialty beverages that can be hard to find elsewhere. Their selection of wines is jaw-dropping, and the prices are much lower than bev-mo and total wines. If you love fine wine and spirits, you won't find anything better than K&L.”

“Me and my partner love this place the boba is great and so are the snack foods. The only issue I have is the last time we went which wasn't that long ago less than a month I'd say and we booked a 90 minute time window and we were able to do the course multiple times. But this time when we tried to do another round because we had an hour left in our time window we were told that it would be extra to do another round. I'm fine with that if it was advertised like that, instead of allowing us to book a 90 minute window instead maybe say "1 round that may take up to 90 minutes" or something along those lines. Other than that amazing place to have fun.”

“:) Quaint shop with yummy sandwiches! They're on the smaller side, so I would definitely grab some additional snacks while you're visiting. Bread was soft and the cold cuts were high quality.”

“A great place for a cigar and cocktail in San Francisco. Pretty much the only place. The bartenders are friendly, fast, and the owners. To survive the idiotic San Fran no-smoking laws, the club has zero employees. Only owners work here. I highly recommend it!”

“We are two Korean men.
We were scammed 2 out of 3 times we visited this store.
(Not sure if the very first visit is a scam.)
The price is 50 cents higher than the market price and the change is 50 cents to 1 dollar less. At first I thought it was a mistake, but on my last visit I realized it was a scam.

We went there thinking this was the only supermarket nearby, but we were impressed by how they couldn't even remember our faces and started scamming us again. If you happen to visit, Asians always check their change carefully.

>If you move a little further, there is Trader Joe's or 7eleven. Go there.”

“When you need a fresh fruits and veggie pick-up during the middle of the week and don’t want to deal with the hassle of going all the way to Safeway this place is great especially if you’re within walking distance. They don’t jack up the prices here either the prices you get here for fruits and veggies is the same as Safeway.”

“Alkali Rye isn't what I'd consider your "normal" liquor store. They have a wide selection of wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks (coffee, teas, etc.) and other items that are more unique that going to a normal liquor store. They really try to feature women-owned/people of color-owned businesses as well as local businesses. They have a range of different priced items to match different occasions. When I've been the owners and staff seem pretty knowledgeable about the different items and have helped me and others to make good recommendations and not just trying to upsell the most expensive items.I'm a whiskey fan, so I'll put it this way, if you just want a bottle of Jack and Jim, you probably wouldn't go here. But if you want a good bottle that you couldn't get at a Safeway, come here!”

“Best beer bottle/ can store in the world so far that I have found. Huge selection of premium beer. I drink ipa and they always have something I like. Especially Pliny the elder but I am always trying different ipa’s to see what’s out there. Super chill usually not too many people in there. Customer service is always chill (good thing)”

“Talk about Community!? Gabby's Deli is the first spot in SF that comes to mind. I moved out here in 2018 from the East Coast, and my first gig was just up the road from Gabby's, in which I was very fortunate to meet Jr and his family(owners); they've gone out of their way to make you feel welcome. PLUS, the Sandwiches are THE BEST! Ended up moving to another part of my company, but rented close to G.M.D years later and they remembered me like it was yesterday. It is the little things that make a difference and for that, they will always have my patronage.”

“Shame on me for not posting a review of this place earlier. I love Oakland Yard and have been a loyal customer and wine club member for years. The space is beautiful, clean, refreshing, and the wines reasonably priced and wonderfully curated. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and unpretentious. Ask questions and you'll be guided well. Want to browse on your own? They'll respect your space. They host events and pop-ups from budding chefs that enrich the neighborhood and are such a lovely community hub. You can even bring your Tacos Oscar order. I don't know what else to say other than this is the gold standard for neighborhood wine shops. Oakland Yard forever!”
