“We have been with quail animal hospital for more than five years. Dr. Wang is the best vet we have ever met. He is very knowledgeable and honest, it is very easy to communicate with him and he has a lot of patience. They will call us the second day after every visit, which is very nice. The price is pretty fair for an animal hospital in Irvine. I took out one star because every time when we try to call them to make an appointment no one would answere, we had to left a voice mail and waiting, sometimes it took more than a day which can be frustrating.”
“Dr Koch is amazing! He performed an emergency surgery on our foster dog Gerdie! She swallowed this rope months ago, and he got it out of her belly! He was so so kind and friendly and very trustworthy! I highly recommend him! It’s hard to find a good vet now that actually cares about your pet more than the money!”

13925 Yale Ave #115, Irvine“First time coming to this vet, and we were met with kind receptionists Maria, vet tech Euroh and Dr. Mario. We came in for a check up and addressed our concern for Archie's flaky skin. They helped us with everything we needed and got him vaccinated and cleaned up!”

“My cat had his first dental surgery due to the tooth resorption a bit over a week ago, and I can't be more grateful to the team. The recovery is going well, my cat has had a good appetite and good mood since day 1. No infection developed.I chose to go with Dr Andrew Phositlimpagul who already gained lots of positive reviews from the clients, and the nurses I spoke to (Tori and Kathy) showed themselves only as kind, friendly and knowledgable. The entire team (including the receptionists) sounded genuinely welcoming and eager to help. If anything happens again with the cat in the future, I will go to Dr Andrew without any hesitation. He was compassionate to the point that he accommodated my travel schedule and saw my cat a week earlier. I also learnt that he is a cat owner himself, which adds up to the level of credibility. My cat is raw fed (he has been raw fed for over 4 years) and the doctor did not mind it. I like that his attitude does not contradict with the owner/director of the clinic, Dr Kathy. In the past, the other vet at this very clinic, however, advised us to switch to a commercial cat food. I am glad that it led us to meeting a wonderful specialist - Dr Andrew! Keep it up!”
“Animal Hospital of Irvine is the BEST clinic! Thank you Dr. Lai and thank you to all of the staff at Animal Hospital of Irvine for taking such good care of my cat.”

15333 Culver Dr Suite 500, Irvine“I cannot thank the Petco Total Care staff enough for the exceptional care they’ve provided for our cat.A special shoutout to Michelle, Eric, Berry, and Sarah for their meticulous attention during Miru’s exam . They not only prepared us for the neutering process with detailed instructions and care tips but also ensured that all our concerns were addressed. Their guidance on what we need to pay attention to before and after the procedure was invaluable. Their professional and caring approach made us feel at ease, knowing Miru was in the best hands. Thank you for your dedication and for going above and beyond.”
“This clinic in Irvine is not just friendly. The Veterinarians are extremely knowledgeable. They explain your animal’s health issues I’d detail. I really appreciate the time they spend with you & your pet. They never rush the visits. I’m very thankful to have them and so is my dog. 5 stars at least??”

34 Creek Rd, Irvine“We brought in our Goldendoodle yesterday because he had a testicular torsion, and our regular vet didn't have any openings, and I'm so glad we accidentally called here instead of the other place we were suggested to go. Luckily, they had an opening here, and we are so glad it worked out that way, because it was less than 4 hours from the time he was brought in to being home. They were very swift and efficient when my Mom came in, and from the whole Cefalú family, thank you!!! The actual doctor called this morning (the morning after) to check up on him, and I've never seen another vet's office do that the next day, let alone the very same surgeon. Seeing the way they handled a pretty high-pressure, uncomfortable situation for our pup, we will be recommending this place to everyone we know with fur babies.”

1371 Reynolds Ave, Irvine“I came in with my kitty who had been an accident at home. They were very quick to help us & I love that they were honest and didn’t try to up sale us on anything. They sent us home with medication & instructions on what to look out for in case I needed to bring her back.”

4840 Irvine Blvd Suite 108, Irvine“I've been to a few VCAs and willingly picked this one as my main vet for all 3 of my cats after seeing how much they seem to care. Dr. Chen is understanding and has experience with shelters which I really appreciate. He has seen my cats for everything from ringworm to FLUTD to now my oldest cat fracturing a fang. They always take the time to thoroughly explain their findings and potential diagnosis and next steps and I always feel like they care about my cats. Other nearby VCAs have a calmer or bigger interior or a better parking situation but they just don't feel quite as caring in my opinion. They understand the difficulties of a sick pet and work with you on that.”
“Our doggie had surgery three years ago and recovered at Pacific Care Pet Emergency. They took such wonderful care of him and he made a full recovery. After two years he developed diabetes and pancreatitis and Pacific Care took great care of him and helped us manage his diabetes. We had to let him go recently but know that Pacific Care was the reason we had him for another 3 years and we are thankful for that. The staff is excellent and very caring and compassionate. I cannot more highly recommend them for anyone with a sick pet.”
“I recently came to this pet hospital to get my friend's dog examined prior to international shipment. The receptionist, Sarah, nurse, and Dr. Feng provided great service. They were all friendly and warm to the dog. The exam was on time, and they were able to take the extra time to answer any questions and comments during the exam and paperwork. Dr. Feng was even able to reduce the bill due to finding electronic certification acceptance by the destination country.”

Vetco, 15333 Culver Drive, Costa Mesa“I was very happy with the veterinary services that my two babies received. I kind of expected to be charged additional fees, which is typically the case with these Wellness plans, but there were no additional charges and the veterinarian was very polite, kind, and proficient.”
“Everyone at this place was absolutely amazing from the front girls to the doctors. My dog was sick. They had a full schedule and they made room to see him very kind people I would give them 10 stars if it was available my dog was very sick. He's very old was throwing up and he was in pain. No one else would take me and everyone else had a full schedule they made room and they took my poor animal out of pain everyone there is so nice. The place is immaculate. I would highly recommend it. I have no idea why some of these other reviews are so terrible. Well, we all know some people are just terrible people and can't find anything nice about anything.”
“I've been going to this clinic for a year with my senior kitties.
General info:
Appointment costs are reasonable if not a bit cheaper than surrounding clinics, which is great.
The clinic is busy, but they're always able to get you in for a sudden appointment if necessary, which I'm grateful for at times when my pets had concerning health issues arise. They always try to accommodate you. There are many vets at the clinic (I've met with at least 4-5), so you'll likely visit different vets each time unless your pet has a health issue, which means you'll see the same vet until it's resolved.
Everyone is friendly and lovely and you don't feel rushed when you have an appointment. *Note: We are the voice for our pets health, so still, make sure you ask all the questions and do whatever you need for your pet, including following up on results for tests, etc.
Because all these vets come from different backgrounds, at this clinic, I've experienced different consultations: vets with firm beliefs and who make immediate diagnoses and vets who advocate doing your own research (which i appreciate) and who consider any and all options before confirming anything. My experiences with most of the vets have been pleasant, but these differences naturally have us inclined toward favoring some vets at the practice more than others.
Personal story:
First, it was an annual exam, then it was my calico's unfortunate diagnosis of chronic kidney disease. Later, my tuxedo kitty was suffering from her mouth and because they didn't have any immediate dental care openings, they insisted upon her being checked by a dental specialist at a specialist clinic and we found she had terminal cancer. I'm grateful they did not make us wait. Her loss hurts us still to this day, but this clinic was very sweet in sending a card with their condolences.
Dr. E:
My calico got pancreatitis soon after that ordeal and she was seen by Dr. E, who is kind, very informative, and dare I say, our favorite vet at the practice. My calico was sent to an internal medicine doctor for specialist care, but despite this and some continued struggles, Dr. E was always thinking of ways to help when we needed it and always patiently answering and clarifying our many, many questions. Since working with Dr. E on maintainance care, our calico has gained weight and is doing very well, even when her chronic kidney disease has slightly progressed. What really helped her get out of lasting pancreatitis symptoms by the end was B12 injections Dr. E prescribed. Due to our many positive experiences with her, we continue to ask for Dr. E and highly recommend her.
In conclusion:
We've gone to this clinic so many times in the course of a year, and every time, the receptionists, vet techs, and vets have been wonderful to our cats and the prices of anything and everything have been fairly decent (highly recommend pet insurance with senior pets though). I would recommend this place for your pet's medical care, especially with Dr. E. and Dr. Roberts.
