“I am not one to write Google reviews usually, but I couldn't help myself in this case. At Legends, you absolutely will not find a better rental experience in Los Angeles. From the customer service to the inventory - these guys are the absolute best. We used Legends to rent a car for our engagement photo shoot and they helped us pick the absolutely perfect vehicle for the occasion (a real 1950's Porsche Speedster!). “New review as of Jan 29, 2023: Tremendous difference. Both in December 2022 and in January 2023, I found the Executive section filled with brand-new luxury brands (Mercedes, Lexus, BMW, even Alpha Romeo, etc.) The few staff members I had contact with were all friendly and courteous and helpful. Complete turnaround for the better, compared to my previous experience in 2021.

Previous review in 2021: Unlike the pre-COVID time, we found the LAX lot this time had very few selections for Executive level. The car we chose had trash on the floor in the back, causing us to seriously disinfect the car ourselves since it looked like it had not been cleaned with care. Most disturbingly, when we returned the car, the employee that checked our car stuck his head into the car to check for fuel level for a very long time, while I was still in the passenger seat. When he finally lifted up his head, I was horrified to see that his mask was worn on his neck instead of his face!”

“We rented a Maverick Campervan for 10 days to drive from Denver to LA and had the trip of a lifetime! Neither of us are really the “camping type” but the Escape Campervan made it easy to stay overnight inside National Parks and cover huge distances between them on the road so it was the perfect choice for us. The kitchen set up was everything we needed (with the rented kitchen set), the bed was surprisingly comfortable even with the rented bedding, and our van even had Bluetooth for our music needs which was an unexpected bonus. We rented the camping chairs and camping table too (although most of the camping sites we booked had tables) but it certainly was useful to have our own gear for picnics and lunch stops on the road. We also paid for the full insurance and were so grateful for that when we unfortunately had a crash on our final day. Dealing with the Escape team throughout that incident was nothing short of amazing though - they were concerned for us and helped us navigate the next steps with no blame or shame. We literally handed back the keys in LA and walked away with no further action needed despite significant damage to the van! The Denver team went above and beyond for us at pick up too by ensuring we had a good charger in our van and taking extra time with us to make sure we felt comfortable with our van and the set up. We will absolutely hire another Escape Campervan in the future. RIP to our dragon van though. We hope she can get back on the road soon!”

“I rented the van for the weekend for my group of friends. It was a smooth process, they picked us up from the airport and dropped us off at the office to pick up our van. The van wasn't fancy or brand new but it was spacious and drove well for us all weekend. Drop off was an easy process and they helped us get an uber to the airport. “Clean, and pretty empty sure to obvious reasons. Minimal staffing at all rental companies. No food vending services open. I was using National, and while there were only 2 at the desk, line moved quickly. Only one attendant outside, while he was on the phone (work related call), he greeted me, and helped me immediately. Vehicle selection felt limited, but found vehicles I had not found before. I think everyone rented the rogues before I arrived.”

“I can not say enough great things about this business! From the moment we booked it the experience was seamless. I got a phone call right after to verify all info so that we had a smooth process and all would be good to go at time of pick up. A few days before we received verification that all was good, insurance verified and price clarified. We received email instructions on where to go from the airport (exact instructions which were so easy and helpful) got us on the bus to the pick up spot. We met Alex, who drove us to rental location, mind you he pick up our large group of 10 in the van we would be taking so only my husband and I had to get off to sign. We signed, paid, did our walk through and done. In and out in less than 15 min. Van was clean, great condition, we had no issues. Upon return, we did our return walk around and then Alex (who is so amazing, he made us feel like family) drove us and dropped us off at our terminal for our departure. All in all, this is one of the best places to rent from!”

“We reserved a standard vehicle for 5 days roughly a month in advance and were blown away at how efficient the check in process was, and were out with our vehicle within 15 minutes. The car was clean and worked perfectly for our purposes. We had the privilege of having Juan M, who assisted us, as he was knowledgeable and kind throughout the whole process. There is also a very convenient shuttle service between this location and LAX; would certainly recommend as the quality agrees with the price.”
