“If you need it, or want it, or don't want it, or want to not want it they have it. Professional stuff, amateur stuff, kids stuff, silly fun. The store is huge, well organized, and the people are nice. Prices are good. The only downside is it's filled with distractions, new loves, and impluse buys so good luck staying on task and under budget. Oh but the parking is very bad, so good luck with that.”

“I'm here early this morning for GraphAid annual sale. 40% on all regular price items. Also, I'm one of the first 50 customers. I get a goodie bag. Great selection of art supplies for the west side of LA. Supporting the small independent art store. DJ's rating: 4.65/5.00Would I come back? Definitely Yes.”

“I was desperately trying to find somebody to re-cane a beautiful mid century chair that my cats had torn to shreds. I searched high and low, and couldn't find anyone to fix it, until a vintage shop in Atwater recommended this place. I am so excited and happy that they did. I brought my chair in and they gave me a very reasonable estimate. The owner and the people that work there are very friendly, but more importantly, they do amazing work. My chair looks absolutely stunning! It looks exactly like it looked before my cats got to it. This place is amazing!”

“This has been my favorite art store for the longest time. Sadly I moved away and only come here on special occasions. Still it remains my favorite art store and whenever I come it always makes my day. I highly recommend Blue rooster. It really is a hidden gem and I love coming here.”

“Top's is a small art supply business. They have a LOT of good stuff, and some things are a lil pricier but it makes sense because it's not a big company or anything! If you're tryna save money try going during their back to school saleThe employees know a lot about art, and are very helpful! Even if it's a bit pricier I come often because of the service and knowing that I'm supporting a business that truly appreciates art :')”

“A diamond in the rough. L.A. is not short on arts and crafts supply stores but it is when it comes to niche areas. Having a place like Hiromi around that specializes in paper both hand and machine made, is a very welcome sight for any artist or artisan looking to stock themselves with fine art papers from Japan and Europe. They have a wide variety of paper types, textures, colors as well as patterned and large format too. Whether your project is a simple stationary one or a large scale one, they definitely have you covered. The prices are reflective of the quality but also super affordable. You’ll also find some smaller type supplies like stationary pieces, calligraphy tools and inks and even imported paper decorations to hang in your home.Highly recommend coming to Hiromi for all your paper needs. Especially if you’re shopping at Graphaids which is just across the driveway.Plenty of parking in the rear, though do be mindful they share the lot with a few other businesses. They don’t mind if you take a spot just don’t linger for too long and you’ll be fine.”

“This is the place I go to get paint when quality matters. True writer's supplies from tips to stupid variety of spray can brands. Most chill biz owner I have ever met. You won't find this at Home Depot or Anawalt hardware and prices are good for top quality - support your local small shops!”

“Absolutely loved my experience at this store, & will definitely be back. Just started architecture school and all the big name stores were out of chipboard, Architect’s Corner has pallets full, also has has anything & everything an architect needs. Gina was also super knowledgeable, friendly, & helpful! Thanks Gina! It’s tucked away, super discrete, no major signage, & currently next door to a construction site, it might be a tad hard to find, but incredibly worth it.”

“Small Michaels in a fairly tight strip mall. Smaller but it does cover the arts & crafts basics found at all Michaels locations. They carry a lot of different DIY products which could easily make the store feel cramped and cluttered but they do a good job of keeping it neat and organized. Look for those sales. If parking is full on the surface, there's parking underground.”
