“Beautiful resort with large, fully furnished RV sites. Washrooms are pristine, pool was really nice. Laundry was reasonably priced -- you need the payrange app to pay for washers&dryers. Staff are great -big shout-out to Joanne at the front desk and Kibb, who maintains the place. The first night we arrived late and the battery died on our tow car. We had to push it into our site after parking our RV. In the morning we discovered we had parked in the wrong site in the dark. Joanne assisted us and said she would get someone from maintenance to give us a battery boost. I called the front desk to follow up and the lady (not Joanne) who answered told me that "no, we don't do that" (provide boosts). Very unhelpful. Kibbs from maintenence arrived a minute later, gave us a boost, and we were able to move to our correct site. WIFI was awful, and given what guest were paying to stay here, I expected better. I read in a review from over a month ago that even the wifi you paid for was equally bad. Sun Outdoors said they would check with their provider, but obviously there's been no improvement. For this reason and the unhelpful woman at the front desk, I took away one star.”

“Had a great stay here! Rooms are great, staff is super friendly, restaurants in the hotel had good food. I do wish the hot tub was open later, I believe it closes around 6? Didn’t get much use out of it due to the early closing time.”
“Great place, nice environment, and reasonably priced for the view and food. The service was friendly, polite and accommodating. My only gripe, would be a personal server. instead of being served at the table, I had to walk up and order food , and pay.maybe cause it's the slow time but someone should be working the floor and making sure everyone is ok.I go to restaurants or eaterys to relax. I don't wanna do the foot work to feed my family and I. Other than that, don't pass this place up delicious food, friendly service. keep up the wonderful food. I hope many more people try this place.”

“This hotel was nice♥️ It's just 15 minutes away from San Diego international airport, it's so convenient place. But atound the hotel was quiet. We used Uber to get there, it costed around $20. There was Panera bread in front of the hotel. I will be back soon!!”

“So glad to have found this cute inn! We only stayed here for one night but highly recommend! The room is not huge but comes with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable too. Didn’t have the time to enjoy the pool or bikes so we’ll have to return in the future!”

“Great location on a Marina. Was able to walk across the street to see the synchronized fireworks displays. Two-story layout was pretty good, and the pool was a bit small but nice. Onsite restaurant was quite good, especially for breakfast. May have been a bit pricey, but it was a holiday weekend.”

“My son and I stayed at the hotel for his birthday. The general manager wrote a hand written letter welcoming us, and there was chilled lemonade and fresh made chocolate left for us in our room upon arrival. Franky set it up for us, and was genuinely so kind and helpful when we arrived. Johnny at the front desk was welcoming and provided us with good information for our stay. The whole hotel has a lovely, clean scent. We enjoyed the lap pool, the comfy beds, and the hot tub. What a wonderful experience! Thanks, Westgate, for making this a memorable birthday celebration for my son.Nearby activities: Gaslamp district is within walking distance - and is lively in the evening”

“I stayed here with my family over the 4th of July weekend. It is definitely an older property but the rooms seem to have been renovated in the past 5 or so years, so be prepared for a shortage of electrical plugs. The standard rooms are also rather small but for a shorter stay it may not be a big deal. Moreover, the room was mostly clean, however we did find a used floss pick behind the corner chair and the area behind the dresser was shocking dusty. This hotel’s best quality was its proximity to many area attractions; Ocean Beach, Downtown, and Balboa Park were all less than a 15 minute drive away. The property was also very well connected to local trails and I enjoyed going on runs around the local area while I stayed. Overall a decent stay, and I might return on my next SD trip perhaps in a higher category room with a patio.”

“Stayed here for one night for a friends bday party nearby. It was different than any hotel I’ve ever stayed in! It had such a fun and hip lobby, the check in drinks were delicious, and in a great location. The rooms were tiny but we had everything we needed. Only complaint is the fan went on and off and made a clicking noise which woke us up. Staff was nice. I’d stay here again!”

“This hotel deserves 10 stars! The staff is absolutely amazing. We felt pampered the minute we walked into the hotel. The location is great, just a short walk to the beach. The bed is very comfortable and the robes are high quality. The complimentary beach towels, chairs, champagne and chocolate chip cookies were the icing on the cake. I will absolutely stay here again next time I come back. Thank you for making us feel so special!”

“My wife and I decided to sneak in a getaway before our baby arrives, and we found this gem through the Amex travel portal. The price for two nights was surprisingly affordable, and upon arrival, we were greeted by the delightful Tuong, who not only checked us in smoothly but also offered fantastic vacation recommendations. Our room was upgraded to a suite, complete with a spacious bathroom, a comfy king-size bed, and a stunning city view. However, the lack of a fridge or room service was a minor downside. Parking was a breeze, and we lucked out with a weekend stay, only being charged $15 for parking. We indulged in breakfast both mornings, and the food was exceptional--do yourself a favor and order the burrito; it's absolutely divine. The hotel graciously accommodated a late check-out, allowing us to squeeze in a bit more relaxation before heading back to reality. Overall, our stay was fantastic, with just a few minor inconveniences. Would definitely recommend for a convenient and enjoyable getaway.”

“This has to be the cleanest hotel I have been too. I've been to many and I was so pleased with this one. Parking was free and plenty of it. The breakfast was also very good . Stephanie was working extra hard to keep up with the demand on food. It was a busy day. Will definitely stay here again. Rooms are maintained in top standards.”
