“I would like to share my incredible experience at Cahuenga Veterinary. It is, by far, the most wonderful hospital I've ever brought my dear dachshund Lucy to. Lucy had to have a radical surgery to remove numerous mammary tumors. I was terrified for her to have this surgery until I met the amazing Dr Pedraza. He is the most kind and compassionate doctor that I've ever encountered, as well as being a master of complex surgeries. I am so grateful that I found him! Dr. Pedraza also finds time in his hectic schedule to take care of homeless animals in need of his brilliant skills. What an awesome human being he is! Delaney, his wonderful nurse, was so reassuring and gentle with my Lucy. She assured me that she would stay by Lucy's side throughout the surgery, and she did! I knew that Lucy was in the best care ever. I only briefly met Dr. Christian, the owner of this wonderful clinic, but he must be an awesome doctor to bring together all of these incredibly skilled and compassionate doctors and nurses. I must also include dear Mystic in reception. Even with the phones ringing constantly, she found time to be warm and gracious to me. I would give 100 5- stars if I could!!”
“I called around to many Vets to find decent prices when I was a first got my dog. And I am so glad I selected them. They are great. The doctor is very patient, helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable. The assistants and front desk personnel are also very nice and helpful. It has been almost 14 years and still highly recommend them. I've never had a bad experience.
Their caring nature became even more evident when my doggie was diagnosed with diabetes. They have been so caring toward her and patient with all the questions I had. They always assist me with a friendly attitude and smile whenever I have a concern. Definitely very happy I stuck with them”

1829 Potrero Grande Dr, Monterey Park“Certainly, I have always taken my cats to this particular veterinarian. I am very fond of them. They are exceptionally great, caring, and kind. They are also very helpful in providing medication guidance and explaining how it is intended to be used and when to administer it. Additionally, they offer valuable advice on dietary modifications for cats experiencing adverse reactions. I highly recommend this establishment and would wholeheartedly suggest that you consider visiting it. It is truly remarkable, and I believe you would find it equally beneficial.”

275 S Atlantic Blvd Unit B, Los Angeles“Personally, good service. The receptionist is welcoming. The place looks modern and clean. Smells new too. The doctor was okay. He was brief with his explanation. I think the supporting staff was able to provide me with the information I needed. I went in for a check up for my 9 year old cat. I paid 721 dollars. This included, consultation, rabies shot, blood work, urine test, xrays, a bio hazard fee, and sedation. (Not sure if this is cheap or not) I have pet insurance so it will Offset 80% of the cost after deductible. I hope this helps some of you.”
“I always feel comfortable leaving my dog in their hands especially Kiana. She has been amazing with reassuring me what they are going to do and always greets me with such a positive attitude and smile. So glad I found this place.”
“Staff is very friendly and they knowledgable. The dr easily identified the problem in my dog ( hernia) and was able to successfully do surgery to repair it. Beast (my dog) couldn't be happier thanks to them :)”
“The staff is so kind and helpful! The front desk is really nice and the vet team is as well. Appreciate they help you figure out next steps for your pet without you feeling forced to go all out and test for everything if you cant afford it. They find a good balance to help your pet one step at a time. Also the wait is always fairly short and reasonable which i really appreciate as well. And they seem to genuinely care and want to help! I had been going to a different vet for years prior until i moved, and i'm shocked at how much nicer and efficient and helpful this vet clinic and staff is. They have helped my dog and cat so much and i'm so thankful!!!”
“Super caring, helpful staff. My Dalmatian had an ear infection on and off for 3 years and finally a vet addressed possible underlying causes I thought might be the problem. Vet recommended to switch her food, I did-and infection went away! So grateful.”

1911 Fremont Ave, South Pasadena“I'm sitting in the plane as I'm writing this review. I called in twice today because I was worried about my cat very last minute before my flight and each time the staff and doctor took time to give me advice and ease my mind! We recently switched to SPAH and have only had good experiences here with people who genuinely care! Dr Navia and her team have been really good to us and generous with their time as well!! I feel like my pet is in good hands here and I feel supported as a pet mama with anxiety. Thank you!!”
“This was my second visit with my dog, Dr was great she showed and explained my pets situation thoroughly, the clinic has equipment that gives you results same day , friendly staff, place is clean, the only downside is parking, there’s a party rental next door and they block the sidewalk”
“Honest and affordable care. The dr immediately diagnosed and treated my pup's ear infection and you could see my dog's instant relief. So grateful to have access to this local vet. Definitely recommend! (And please support small businesses!)”

1501 W Mission Rd, Alhambra“I've been going to Alhambra Vet for years. I love Dr. Henstra and Dr. Gil and always feel like my kitties are getting the best of care. The staff is really great too. Yesterday was the first time I've been back since the renovations and they're really nice and modern.”
“Dr. Cassidy took great care of our last dog, who was diabetic. She monitored his progress and responded almost daily to his blood sugar readings which I emailed to her daily. When we got our latest dog, we returned to Dr. Cassidy for the same great care, which she has provided him. We recommend her without reservation and with the highest praise.”
“They take good care of your pets and help you the best they can, they cut their nails, they give them vaccines for rabies fleas, they are very well cared for and they speak your language, if they don't understand, they try to seek help from other people, thank you ?”
“Recently moved to Lakewood and found Lakewood pet vet was happy with how they take care of my goldendoodle and wheaten. Now we added a mini dachshund and met Dr. Ryan! He is absolutely amazing he knew right away that our new puppy had worms from the moment he saw him. He is very thorough and explains everything. You can tell he truly cares for animals and wants to help you and your pets. Thank you Dr. Ryan!”
“Beyond great. My vet for decades retired, leaving no one in her place. Tried to find new vet, and was hugely disappointed with other local vet. BUT joy of joys, was referred by friend to Redwood & Dr Suyehara. I cannot express my gratitude for this care and expertise. They are all fabulous --just as my friend predicted and finally I am getting necessary help for my aging dogs. I LOVE this whole practice and am grateful every day to have this guidance to address my dogs' conditions. When your dogs are healthy, anyone can help to verify all is fine. But when they are struggling, getting such terrifically knowledgeable and caring guidance means the world.”
“I can't say enough about the amazing team at BARC. My senior French Bulldog Kirby goes for physical therapy and acupuncture and they have provided top notch care. She recently had an IVDD flare up and bounced right back which I believe is due to the care she has received during preventative PT and accupuncture sessions. It's amazing to see my dog getting bursts of puppy energy due to the program here. Everyone on staff is always so perceptive to the pets' needs as they evolve. The entire team is also simply wonderful, caring, and kind. They have created a very positive environment. Thank you BARC!”
“They are probably the best Vet Clinic I have ever been to. Dr. Robins was great and attentive to my little Ellie (cat). She truly cared about her well-being and focused on getting her better instead of adding unnecessary services.
When you first walk in, you feel welcomed and everyone seems so happy to work there. They treat all the animals with respect and care. They have a waiting area inside and outside as well, which I think is great for our nervous furry friends.
The wait time is a little high, but it is so worth it. They are literally focusing on every single animal and making sure they get the best service. So, of course, it will take some time. They do their best to take in as many appointments as possible so there is no walk-in availability.
But if you call on the same day the moment they open, they might just let you in for a same day appointment. It's not a guarantee, though.
They accept care credit, and if eligible, sunbit. I think it is amazing because not many vets have options for payment plans besides care credit.
I think options like these are great for people like me who have more than 1 furry friend.
I really suggest giving them a try. They really won't disappoint. They are super open about their prices, which honestly are not even remotely close to high. And the best part is they don't try to over sell!
Great quality at an affordable price. You just can't beat that!”
“I took my pug Leah here for vaccines and I paid 60$ for all of them! Super affordable :) VETCO charges 230$ for a full set of vaccines yikes and I work there too . I love how they take care of her . Even though the wait can be long , they got her in and out and she was fine when we got home. If you have brachycephalic breed for a spay be sure to understand there's a possibly of them not making it . My pugs all have been spayed there and one of them almost did not make it . The team did thankfully successfully finished the procedure and she was ok :)”
“I started doing research on vets because my previous place was no longer taking appointments and charging for walk ins (made no sense). This spot was nearby my house and decided to give them a shot with my pets. I love that we can make appoints and they honor them. I don't have to wait hours and the prices are reasonable. I love the vet's bedside manner in comparison to my previous vet clinic. I could tell everyone there really loved their job and our pets. Proud to say that this place is now my new primary vet when my dog gets sick or needs a check up!”

2216 W Main St, Alhambra“Update: Clinic is under new ownership but Dr. Frics is still caring for your animal family.
Dr. Frics and Dr. Ahn are an absolute pleasure to work with. They’re very professional, knowledgeable, and on top of all the advances in veterinary medicine. If they can’t treat it, they’ll responsibly refer you to a specialist. They treat you like family and your fur babies, feathered or scaled, too!”

5550 N Figueroa St, Los Angeles“Had my cat neutered and With great care the animal hospital took care of my kiwi. I did have to wait 20 minutes at drop off, even with appointment . At pick up I waited 45 minutes for them to call my name. Great service”
“I truly didn't have high expectations, and considered this vet something like a VCA chain. I took my puppy in due to an exam needed and an issue with her dewclaw. Her vet has been in LA since I got her but it's too much of a drive I've done for small things she's needed, so this place was a great distance from me and I kept getting emails to try them from Petco so we gave them a chance. Making an appointment was super easy, all done online. We may have gotten super lucky, because the vet technician and the vet himself were awesome like 5 stars just for their service alone; I've seen some bad reviews and personally I don't like this Petco location at all. The self serve treats are covered in spiderwebs and half the staff has an issue 24/7, to name a few issues. This led me to not expect much from this hospital attached to them. Experiencing the care that our sweet vet technician and Dr. Collins provided, was refreshing and so rare in todays society. They made my girl feel so comfortable, and myself as well. I was so nervous as to what she needed upon discovering the injury to her dewclaw, as well as what the bill would look like. Due to privacy concerns and not wanting to possibly get anyone in trouble, all I can say is that they went above and beyond to help us. They showed us grace and I can't thank them enough for doing everything possible to help me with this visit. My girl left the vet completely unphased with a smile on her face and some antibiotics. I do want to and NEED to comment on the way Dr. Collins assessed everything I brought up. I went to another vet previous to this one and she completely disregarded my concern, which Dr. Collins emphasized and confirmed WAS/IS a real issue and prescribed a solution to! The other vet made me feel I was overreacting and Dr. Collins provided some relief by explaining what was happening to my dog and what was needed. This is a doctor I felt so comfortable leaving in control of my dogs health. I greatly appreciate this and look forward to bringing her back to see him again. If you need to see a vet and are concerned about care and cost, try giving Vetco a chance. A small, local, hospital that really cares about your pet and has professionals ready to help.”
“Last week, my sister and I rescued a cat who was severely injured from a dog fight. Took our little guy to the Access Hospital, and left with a big bill and no help. The next day we took him here, and I have no words to describe how caring and wonderful everyone was. From Gabby at the front desk, to the doctor and all of the nurses. They all were very sweet and helpful, went above and beyond to try and save Rayito. Unfortunately, the injuries were too much, and infection had spread. I know for certain, they did all they could... but this little angel needed to cross the rainbow. They gave us pain medicine, so he won't suffer, and we took him home. Crossing the rainbow bridge the following day. I will never forget the kindness they showed us during such a hard time. I have added a picture of Rayito. Took him to see the sunset at the beach the day before the crossed over. Thank you guys.”

9231 Telegraph Rd, Pico Rivera“We love Dr. Rey and we know that him and his whole staff love our pets they give the most Attentive and loving care to all the pets, they have seen me through the best of times and the hardest times with compassion and patienceStaff is like family. I wouldn't even consider going or seeking other care. Thank you City Line Pet for being so awesome to the community.”
“Best vet in LA. I don't think he's taking new patients though. Dr Reina is a compassionate vet who truly cares about our furry ones. He's taken wonderful care of my cats, dog and even my pet rat! Who else makes a little oxygen tent for a little rat with upper respiratory infection!! I'll cry when he retires. There can be a long wait if they're crowded, but since Covid you wait in the car & they call you in.”
“The doctors are great here. We have been going to them 15 years and I feel like they have added years to the lives of my dogs. I had two labs live to be 18 and 17 when both diagnosed with bad forms of cancer. I think the kindest thing they ever did was to do surgery on a little poodle we found that was a mess. Tumor covering her lower body they examined her and said it is not pretty but we can remove it! No promises made but were straight with us that if they did not think they could save they would tell us. They did the surgery and we had a new dog that gave us joy for five more years. The last thing is they are also very compassionate when it is time to say goodbye even when you don't want to. All this makes them the best vet combo ever.”
“This place is not the fanciest or the most well equipped. It's a simple vet office that can accommodate last minute appointments for simple things such as vaccines, ear infections, allergy shots and flea medication. I'm not sure, but I doubt they have radiology or surgery capabilities. We usually go here when we need an emergency shot for our dogs seasonal allergies. The vet is old school (paper records) and very kind.”
“These guys took care of my chihuahua. They were and are super professional. You can absolutely have peace of mind with them. They're caring, respectful, and completely understand your concerns. I highly recommend them.”
