“Thought I needed a new phone since it wasn't charging. Went to the Verizon store in Huntington Beach. Adrian the sales representative asked to exam the charger receptacle on phone. I said "OK, but I've tried it with multiple brand new charging blocks and cables without success". He plugged the phone into the charger located at the counter and the phone started charging ! I said "That's not possible!!!" Turns out that the low cost after market wall charge cables apparently do not exert the same about of pressure on the phone charger receptacle contacts as the higher end charging models sold in Verizon stores. Or the amount of gold on contacts is not enough to maintain a good circuit connection with a worn down phone receptacle ( The Samsung phone is over 6 years old. Hey, before you laugh, I'm 68 so give me a break LOL). The in store price for cable and wall charger block cost $39, which was expensive compared to the inexpensive 2 pack that cost $13 with free next day shipping on Amazon. Obviously there is a reason for the price difference: Manufacturing quality. Adrian could have easily not inserted counter charging cable all the way without me knowing and I would have no doubt bought a new phone. Adrianclearly demonstrated his honesty and integrity, which unfortunately is something you don't always experience from salespersons, especially if commissions or sales performance levels are involved. Even more so if the customer is a senior citizen. Adrian made my experience in a Verizon store, the best in over 20 years as a Verizon customer. Great job Adrian!”

“Yesterday I was helped by a person named Z! My grandmother had an issue with T-Mobile about calling out of state. My grandma doesn’t speak English so while I was translating, she was patient and very polite to us. Really helpful about guiding us through the plans and policies of calling out of state. Got an even cheaper price on the phone plan then what she was paying for with T-Mobile. Also we didn’t know some credentials as in her T-Mobile pin, email, or password, Z took her time and managed to gather all the information up to keep my grandmas old number without changing or switching it. Overall experience was great. If your reading this, thank you so much again Z”

“I tend to dread coming to these places. The one off Edinger can be a nightmare. Thankfully, this new store on Goldenwest was quick and easy. The check in kiosk didn't work for me but I only waited for about 5minutes being 3rd in line. I was just exchanging equipment and the guy was very helpful. I was outta there in no time at all. “I read all the other Yelp reviews before posting this. Look, this is WalMart..... I'm not sure why people are coming on here and making fun of the people that work there. Every time I have ever gone through the checkout, the person has been super nice and friendly even. Walmart has all the consumer goods that your heart could ever want! They have a bathroom, Burger King, and you can even get a mani-pedi! I'm not sure why people are complaining. Ok so maybe they don't answer the phone when you call, but honestly...when was calling a store efficient? It's 2022, no company answers the phone anymore. And if you call, be patient, and kind. You are not the center of the universe.WalMart isn't the sexiest place on earth, but cmon people... It's WalMart, buy what you need and go home. There is always parking, in the shade even! “I love the pharmacy at this store. The staff and pharmacists are great at helping the customers. The rest of the store is also very good, but the pharmacy is outstanding. The pharmacy website is also great. I get emails when prescriptions are ready, and status reports when waiting for a renewal.”

“I want management and corporate to know the value of an employee. I arrived at Verizon, knowing that I needed a new phone, it was glitchy, even though I turned the assistant off it was still picking up every word and interfering with texts. Phone calls and chat in Podbean. It had to go and I was resigned to pay $500 or more?
Then Dallas helped me by analyzing the phone and what was happening. It went through various things I had tried to the same result then kept on and completed figured out how to disable the problem maker he then fixed a problem with the voice mail. 2 annoying problems repaired right there. I am so appreciate that this employee valued this Gramma on a fixed income, to breathe new life into my phone. Literally the best customer service, thoughtfulness and consideration. Exactly thf ki d of people you want to employ and promote. Give this man a raise!!???? Thank you Dallas ...I will be loyal to Verizon because of you!❤️”
