Lil Pals' Pet World
401 McCray St B-13, HollisterNgl the most relaxing place to stop at, I have no idea how much I’ve spent at this place..they have a large variety of aquarium plants, just ask Katelyn about the plants! She knows like everything, and I love how I can special order plants incase they don’t have the ones I’m looking for.
I’ve Been given great advice here, my dogs been dealing with hip and joint issues after an injury and I was recommended a few things and so far they’ve helped her so so much.
I got my black moor goldfish here and hearing how people wanted to put him in a bowl broke my heart so so much, and I’m so happy they aren’t like petco and petsmart and just let animals die for profit. I was told he was there for months, he’s happy and healthy in his 55 gal!
The only thing I think would make a nice addition is little booklets explaining how to properly care for an individual animal. I understand they give advice and it’s always true but having the option to be anti social and read up on an animal is also great! Especially for us socially awkward folks.
10/10 would spend all my money again.

Country Groomers
191 San Felipe Rd, HollisterWe take our two cats, once a month. We have allergies and bathing our cats helps. We have a long hair and one short hair. They both look great and love getting bathed. They will start hanging around our shower when they think it’s time for a visit.

Pet Care
Animal Hospital of Hollister
191 San Felipe Rd Suite F, HollisterMy cat got into a fight and developed an abscess on her back. We had scheduled an appointment for next week but this morning we saw it had burst, drained, and was an open abscess. My brother called them and immediately got in. The vet, who I am drawing a blank on the name right now, was AMAZING! She was so kind, caring, explained everything thoroughly, and took such good care of my baby. She now has a drain and stitches but I am eternally grateful for having them see my girl so fast and treat her immediately. She is now at home recovering and looking better already! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pet Sitting & Training
K9 Ambassador
1301 Nash Rd, HollisterMy dog was generally a good boy but had become leash aggressive and was selectively listening to me, while taking advantage of my lax "rules" and laying on furniture. He had an aggressive moment with my cat (off leash and unprovoked) that sent me reeling. This is where K9 comes in. New to this area: I needed some refresh training for me and my 4 yr old pup and a neighbor recommended K9. From my first interaction, to the assessment, to training scheduling, to his week of training day camp and finally in person learning (for me to also learn the best practices), I am 100% impressed! Training for us both is easy and effective. The staff are all welcoming and amazing! The facility is clean and inviting. I would not normally consider boarding my pup, but I would totally bring him here! If you're on the fence - give them a try! You won't be disappointed!

Anna's Tail Walkers & Sitters
100 Maple St, HollisterWe did a destination wedding and decided less than 2 weeks before that we needed someone to come and check on our 4 cats twice a day. Anna and Joel were able to work with our extremely short timeline. They made time on our schedule to come meet us and the cats. Anna took notes on all the cats, their feeding schedules, and how we wanted everything done. They even offered to check the mail, bring in packages and handle trash bins if needed. While we were away they provided photos of the cats in the morning and evening. They also took time to give our very shy cats treats and Joel even got out most shy cat to come out from under the bed. When we returned they had left a couple kitty toys dressed up as a bride and groom with a congratulations card. Absolutely recommend them for your pet sitting needs. They are very professional, kind and clearly have a passion for animals.

Cali Pals Doodles and Service Dogs
85 Spring Grove Rd, HollisterSuch a wonderful soulful experience from start to finish! The family involved in breeding are amazing, they made it such a great process. We selected our pup and she was to become our daughters service dog for ASD. They really do raise the most amazing sweet gentle kind pups and we actually did the started puppy programme and when she came home to us we just needed to stay on top of it all and continue building her skill sets.I have seen many of the pups that have been part of the training and some even going on to the sheriffs dept and working there. These dogs are so well bred and trained you won’t believe it.I would not change a thing about the experience other than taking two home . ;-)

The GardenShoppe n' Bar
364 7th St, HollisterI called today in a panic needing a space for a last minute event where we were left with no venue. The lady on the phone was so sweet and understanding. I really wish we would've been able to move our party there but the guest list was too high to fit comfortably. Based on the service given on the phone my sisters and I can't wait to come in and experience this awesome place first hand one day. Thank you

Casa de Fruta Restaurant
10021 Pacheco Pass Hwy, HollisterCasa de Fruta has been my midway-stop on trips to Monterey for years now. Anyone who visits me makes it out there eventually! It's the perfect space to stop and stretch your legs, use the restroom, and grab a bounty of local Californian delights. I always end up with a basket full of olives and honey, the walnut stuffed dates, some sort of garlic item--the hanging braids are so fragrant when you pass underneath that I wish I could do the same exact thing in my home! Service is always great--staff are friendly and helpful without hovering, which I always appreciate. Some day I'm going to make it past the farm stand and try the restaurant or maybe grab a sweet treat! But if you only ever went through the shop, you'd still be doing just fine!
