“I needed a document notarized and overnited to a title company in Washington. I found the closest UPS store in the Richmond Marina area and called. Voice mail. You know it's not going to get answered when they ask you to leave the date and time you called. Surprise, they never called me back. Instead, I headed over to see them in person. No notary there and they were not sure when she would be there. Great. From the parking lot, I called the UPS store off San Pablo. They answered and were ready to help. In about 10 minutes, I pulled up in front. Fantastic service. Very fun to talk to and would do business with them again in a heartbeat.”

Can't say how much I appreciate the kindness & the feel good vibe I get from this store when I go there. It really means a lot.
These days doing errands have become such a headache w/ long lines, people not knowing their jobs or even the answer to a question.

“You are most welcome and it was well deserved I did not know I had to bring my own box and everything that goes along with that to send it back out to Amazon but the girl there was extremely nice and polite and jocular in a professional way, and she explained to me step by step what I had to do.. I met a teacher there and I asked her if she ever heard of latch hook and she told me yes and they had them there, I haven't had them since I was 11 when my nana taught me, so I ended up buying two of them and I came to find out I have not forgotten how to latch hook, my nana, may she rest in peace, would be proud I also found Pop Rocks it's a candy which I haven't seen in about 40 years. I dealt with the evening staff, they deserve a raise, at the very least please tell them thank you. I'll definitely be back. Always j. A. S.”
“I've had a box here for nearly five years now and the very few mishaps having taken place aren't even worth mentioning. The proprietor has always been fair, helpful and honest with me and others. I've witnessed her advise a customer when her shipping cost seemed inappropriate so they may choose an alternate like the USPS. You don't see that often in a competitive business environment. “I don't usually comment on places but I experienced my first male Karen moment. It was thrilling. So thrilling that I fumbled with my phone and only caught the last part as he did his walk of shame out of the door as everyone was left in silence. This man clomped up to the counter and the woman working, Phoung, kindly greeted him and asked him what he needed. The man cut her off and said, I DONT NEED YOU TO ASK ME ANYTHING. I DON'T NEED STAMPS. I JUST NEED YOU TO DO WHAT I ASK YOU TO!! He spoke to her like they were in the middle of a heated argument. This woman, mind you, had her scale to weigh packages malfunction, her computer decided that it didn't want to work anymore and had to restart it working ALL BY HERSELF on a Friday around lunchtime. She really wanted to do a good job so she managed to work it out while the line grew. If anyone reading this were spoken to the way he did you would've had to use all your God given strength not to go nuclear, hop over that counter and made him eat those words. I was on the side ready to say something but Phoung had it covered. She responded in kind with the addition of respect saying, I just asked what you needed so there wouldn't be any misunderstandings!! Then SHE apologized for the miscommunication for reasons unknown. Be kind people or you might just run into someone who will give it right back to you. Thanks Phoung!”
