“My son was a student here from ages 3-5 (through TK)We loved the teachers. They all really care about the kids, and my son loved them. He learned a lot of great things while he was here. Shortly after he started we noticed his manners improved (please and thank you), and in the Covid world they did a great job inspiring him to wash his hands properly. He's leaving TK knowing his ABCs, basic addition and subtraction, counting to 100, some sight words, and more. The kids do a wide variety of hands-on activities in TK, including crafts, science experiments, and even cooking.Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are included in the tuition, which was a huge help. My kid is a really picky eater and they encouraged him to try everything, but if he didn't like it they would give him something else to eat (cereal, fruit, etc...)If you're enrolled full day the drop-off/pick-up window is very flexible for working parents - 6:30am-6:00pm. I typically didn't pick my son up until 5:45pm because he refused to leave if I came earlier. He was always having too much fun!I want to add that I just adore the kindergarten teacher, Miss Norita, and I am sad he won't be attending kindergarten at Elmhurst. We're leaving because my son was admitted to the Mandarin DLI program in Hayward and you have to start that in kindergarten. We plan to enroll our second child here once he is old enough.”

“Very good teachers!!!!!!! Ms.Magalon it's great and Ms.Phillips. Ms. Magalon helped my daughter so much in math. Ms. Magalon it's truly dedicated to her students. She will get out of her way to give them the best education and school experience. They truly care about their students. Ms.Phillips it's very sweet. Their school talent show was amazing!!! The kids sing so beautiful and organized. The history school performances are very interesting as well. It looks like they put good work to their shows. The lady that helps with the traffic and the yard dutties after school help a lot to keep everyone organized and safe. They deff need a new main decent playground. It's only fair, for the kids and they all deserve it. The playgrounds is like 30-40 years old. They definitely need funds for that I guess, but there's nothing wrong with needing help, the bad part is that people or the system doesn't help.”

“My grand daughter has been going here. So far, so good, no complaints. I was hesitant at first from reading some of the other reviews, but I had to experience it for myself. My granddaughter seems to like it, and the kids love her!!”

“Great location, facilities, and most importantly staff and management. Our toddler started going there when she was 21 months. The location is ideal and easy access to get in out. One the most important area is facilities and equipment. They have high standards for health/sanitation and simply do not bend rules in this area, which we love and is essential! The staff are kind, professional and we feel that our toddler is well attended “ like-home”. The leadership and management exemplifies and demonstrate excellent customer/parent service! If you’re in the Hayward/Union City area, highly recommend Royal Kids academy for the well being and nourishment of your child.”

“The school has a loving environment. The teachers put their heart into work. They are very friendly and respectful. The director with her professionalism, caring and love for kids, leads the school very well. We are very fortunate to find this school for our 2 yrs old. They have field trips 3 to 4 times per year (many other preschools don't). Their academy program and curriculum are very good, too. Their routine nap time starts at 12:30 pm for prepping, and ends at 2:30 -3pm, which works well for my little one since she can still go to bed early at night. The tuition is affordable. Full-time care for only around $870.00.We also like the diversity at this preschool. They appreciate every culture and invite parents to present to kindergarten kids about the uniqueness of their own cultures.”

“Staff and teachers are so nice and welcoming. You can tell they are in this profession because they love children and want to help them grow. The exterior of the school looks dated and the metal fence is not very appealing to the eyes; however, the classrooms are bright, spacious and clean. They also have a nice, huge outdoor play area in the middle of the school, which is a really safe place for the children to play.”
