I loved that she engaged with my grandson directly. It was a great experience for both of us. We laughed alot too. Besides Ms Brenda's amazing personality, the offices are so clean and the natural lighting is perfect. Ask for Ms Brenda to help you!!”

“The folks working here are always professional, kind, and helpful. One told me he was about to leave for lunch when I asked for help, and he decided as soon as I told him what I needed--to change my password for online banking since I got a new phone recently--that he'd get lunch afterwards. With all the bank branches closing, I worried this location would close, too, and I rely on it to pay my rent with cashiers checks (only $5 each)--the employees assured me their location won't be closing, so if you're in the area, sign up for an account there!”

Seriously thinking about switching to US Bank cause she can really turn a bad day into a great one just from chatting while cashing a check. “This review is specifically for the loan officer, Thomas Chen, based out of this branch. When I first moved to Hayward in 2018, I used a broker to fund my loan and refinanced with another bank after. But when I looked into Fremont Bank'a options, I met Thomas. He called me back almost immediately and I was able to refinance for the 3rd time in Hayward with an awesome no fee or closing cost loan. Fast forward to today when rates are at their highest, I decided to give Thomas a call again to see the purchase options. Boy did I luck out! He was able to preapprove me in literally 1 single day and get me on my way to bid on homes. Then I found one and the rest became turbo speed! Because I wanted to close on the loan before my son started the new school year, Thomas put that as top priority and stayed on top of all correspondence. There were some hiccups with the insurance part (partly due to AAA), but overall, a standard 30-day close turned into a 14 day close. Amazing!! I literally got my offer accepted on 7/21 and closed on 8/7! It would've even closed sooner but again AAA flood insurance can be a pain, but Thomas was still the one that made it all happen so quickly for me. Due to the current market in general, getting a loan wasn't as easy as when it was typically 2.8%, but looking at how fast he kept it moving, I am so grateful to have him as my loan officer! If you want a professional, speedy, no BS mortgage consultant who is looking out for your best interest, I would definitely recommend Thomas Chen as I already have worked with him twice for 2 very different loans and both times he did what he said he would and there were no surprises. Half I feel is due to Thomas disclosing all that is needed upfront and the other half is the Fremont bank team supporting these loans. From normally a stressful experience, Thomas made things as smooth as possible and still so responsive to this day. I am super happy and would definitely come back directly to Thomas for my mortgage needs in the future.”

“My husband has been a member for years, and we recently financed an auto loan through Bay Cites. We compared rates from other financial institutions and even through Tesla's financing. The rate we received at Bay Cities was the best! I'm talking rates that are 1.5%-2% lower than others. There is also incentives for setting up automatic payments and purchasing an EV. Our loan officer, Aurora Domingo helped us through the entire process and made this experience amazing for us both. She answered all of our questions in a timely manner, immediately corresponded to our emails/texts, and ensured our loan was all taken care of. We are so impressed by the service we received from Aurora, we will be sure to use Bay Cities again for any other auto loans in the future!!”

“Convenient to downtown. Friendly service and never much of a line. Parking lot in the back always has lots of open spots. Convenient to downtown. If your going to cash bars you can come here just a short walk for the ATM. So many businesses these days love cash. Thats suspicious. Friendly service. I like how its always the same lady at the same window. I think I remember her here since 2016 when I opened my account. If employee turnover is too great its never a good sign. I like this bank since they don't nickel and dime you to death. These days with high interest rates banks treat customers very well but back when this bank wasn't very greedy with fees. I sometimes get a phone call from a personal banker which is very 'fancy' as I don't have all that much cash here. I guess just enough to get recognized as a valuable customer to get the red carpet treatment. Parking lot in the back is huge. I usually don't use it as I just walk here.”

“The branch on Hesperian is conveniently located near me. I use the ATM outside of the branch most of the time. They do not have the NCR ATM inside the branch, unfortunately. Pleasant friendly staff.”

“I came in on a Friday right before closing and I was shocked that I was helped within 2 mins of arriving. When I arrived I realized that I had forgotten my wallet and I needed change. The teller explained that she could give me up to $100 in change without an ID which was exactly what I needed. She was really nice to explain that instead of just turning me away. This is my local branch and every time I need to come in I get great service. There is plenty of parking and they have an ATM inside and 3 ATM's outside.”

“I like drive through atms they are cool!! Wells fargo line was long but it moved quick. I didnt need an appointment to speak to a banker but I had to wait a couple min extra when it was busy, but they got me out in about 30 min alltogether and gave me everything I needed.”
