“I went to this church twice and I already want to start membership classes today! I did not go last sermon and the church gave me a shout out! They said my name in church saying that I was interested in becoming a member! That is so cool because that means that they connect with you on a personal level. ❤️ Sometimes when I go to church I feel like the sermon is for me at that moment. But something about Atherton Church made me feel like they were connecting to every single person on 'eye level' when describing the word, or a situation, or a mindset to adopt. So far so good. I also felt like the sermon holds us accountable for our daily lives AND RELY ON JESUS. They show us to do the work WITH God when in need or giving praise.”

“I just wanted to thank the nice people at this temple who welcomed me to sit in for one of their services.I am a tourist from Vancouver Island and just happened to walk past at random.I have for many years studied the Vedas but have not had a chance to visit a temple. My only regret is I didn't have anything to offer as I wasn't carrying any cash. When I come back again I will make sure to make an offering as a token of appreciation for the hospitality I was shown.”

“Love pastor Park Sean kun my atheist husband became a Christian through his sermon. His sermons are so deep and easy to understand, brings peace to your heart when you listen to his sermon and you gain better understanding who Jesus is and what the Bible says, in a more simpler way highly recommend this church.”

“I was here for a funeral so can only remark that the church had plenty of parking, was clean / well maintained and that the priest did a good job conducting the funeral. There are men's and women's restrooms open for use and they also have a parish hall. Seems like a nice, modern typical Catholic parish church.”

“Dropped off something since my last day of 4-5-20 and it was totally different from that time for social distancing of those who need to be there for that moment, I fought back the tears because of the memories of my family in Christ and missing them so much because we are family.”

“I attended the men's spirit group for the first time last night. I found a group of easygoing, supportive, and fun guys. They were fondly talking about an elder member of the group who was walking on earth his last days; his name is Noble. At one point, the man seating next to me announced, "I just received a message that Noble passed away a few minutes after seven." At the end of the meeting, I told Bob that I thought it was ironic that Noble departed just about the time I showed up for my very first Men's Spirit Group; Bob replied, reading my mind, "as if he was waiting for you to replace him." I don't think I will replace him, but I want to think that he is very happy there is someone who will be offering hugs to his wonderful group of men. Ricardo”

“I love this place! There are two of them right next to each other. The guy working at the smaller one is very friendly and funny. Great selection. I always spend so much time in there. I love supporting local bookstores compared to just going to Barne's and Noble/Borders. There's a bookstore kitty too!”

“I’m grateful to be graced with the lessons I’ve learned from True Insight. The free noon meditation is a great starting place. I’ve learned a new energy language through meditating here, while unlearning what’s truly not mine. This work is divinely powerful, healing, energizing and balancing. The best part of learning this work is that it’s mine, my energy communicating with me, helping me embody my true authentic self.”

“The people who run the sits are extremely nice and provide great instructions for meditation. The group is about as mellow and relaxed as can be while still maintaining a serious practice. There are no big egos or anything off-putting like that. I highly recommend Dogen Sangha to everyone interested in meditation.”
