“I was here for a funeral so can only remark that the church had plenty of parking, was clean / well maintained and that the priest did a good job conducting the funeral. There are men's and women's restrooms open for use and they also have a parish hall. Seems like a nice, modern typical Catholic parish church.”

“Love pastor Park Sean kun my atheist husband became a Christian through his sermon. His sermons are so deep and easy to understand, brings peace to your heart when you listen to his sermon and you gain better understanding who Jesus is and what the Bible says, in a more simpler way highly recommend this church.”

“Absolutely beautiful, neat and big size temple , with great architecture with many rooms and areas, you would never imagined that such immense temple structure would exist in pacific palisade right on Sunset! I always thought pacific palisade was a fun city with few Jews in it!”

“I went to this church twice and I already want to start membership classes today! I did not go last sermon and the church gave me a shout out! They said my name in church saying that I was interested in becoming a member! That is so cool because that means that they connect with you on a personal level. ❤️ Sometimes when I go to church I feel like the sermon is for me at that moment. But something about Atherton Church made me feel like they were connecting to every single person on 'eye level' when describing the word, or a situation, or a mindset to adopt. So far so good. I also felt like the sermon holds us accountable for our daily lives AND RELY ON JESUS. They show us to do the work WITH God when in need or giving praise.”

“I love this place! There are two of them right next to each other. The guy working at the smaller one is very friendly and funny. Great selection. I always spend so much time in there. I love supporting local bookstores compared to just going to Barne's and Noble/Borders. There's a bookstore kitty too!”

“I have been a m ember of Temple Akiba for over 30 years. It is my home away from home. Love the variety of services, classes and activities. Everyone is welcome to the services and many of the adult classes. The over night camps and retreats are very popular and worthwhile. A great way to explore Judaism, positive values and make friends.”

“A place to lose the cape of religion and trade it in for quality fellowship with God and people. The pastors are so easy to approach and talk to, it’s a family I am truly blessed to be a part of.”

“They have a very good Sunday breakfast, and excellent food for a late dinner, especially on Thursday. On Tuesday, students from UCLA have lentils and rice. It's fine. It's great when you're really hungry.”

“Rooms are lovely, super spacious. Great included amenities: mini fridge, big bathrooms, mini bar, ice machine in hallway. Service was solid. Decent restaurant, snacks for purchase in lobby. Room key access needed for elevators. There's not much to do in this location for tourists, so be careful. This hotel is best for business travelers, or those coming for an NFL game, or people visiting the South Bay (Hermosa, Manhattan, Palos Verdes etc), or people splitting time between Orange County sites/events (Disneyland etc) and Los Angeles. For the typical L.A. tourists visiting sites/events in Hollywood, The Valley, Pasadena, Downtown LA etc., this hotel is very, very far from that action. So check your itinerary before booking, unless you want to spend hours in vehicles.”
