“Great experience for me and my fiancé! The staff were friendly and very helpful and the campsite was perfect for both glamping and outdoor camping enthusiasts, especially for families with kids. The Airstream was bigger than expected and very comfortable, keeping us warm at night while it was freezing outside. The location is a few minutes from the town and close to several vineyards, hiking locations, and the coast. We would highly recommend AutoCamp to anyone looking for a fun trip!Nearby activities: They offered a Yoga class one of the mornings during our visitFood & drinks: There were free wine tastings for a couple of the days we were there”

“My partner and I drove from Sacramento to Guerneville for an overnight birthday trip, August 2024. We had a great time! The R3 is 2 blocks from the Main Street in town with restaurants, bars, and shopping. With a pool and a bar though you don’t even have to leave the hotel to have fun. We were there on Karaoke Night. We didn’t sing, but we enjoyed watching others. The bartender was even singing with a mic in one hand, and making drinks with the other. We will be back when we have more time to spend in town, because one night was definitely not enough.”

“It was a last-minute booking and I’m so glad it worked out.
The lodge is a piece of Guerneville history and Al is a wonderful host and owner!
It’s beautiful inside the lodge, rustic and warm. Our room was perfectly sized and had a glorious claw foot bathtub.
The grounds are full of flowers, vines, trees and things to do, with a lovely spot on the river to swim and kick it. It was an easy walk to food and late-night snacks too.
The large living room was a lovely place to talk with other guests, and Al keeps the kitchen stocked with some food and water. You’re free to cook and make yourself at home. I think the only rule from Al was something like don’t be annoying. :)
We loved everything about the place.”

“I had a great time at my stay at Johnson's Beach in their new tiny homes. Their tiny homes had opened up Labor Day of this year and they are well designed and equiped with most of what you need to have a great "glamping" experience. Originally I was planning on glamping at a luxury tent at Autocamp nearby, but they weren't available for Saturday night. I'm so glad we ended up here because it was a better value with more of the little luxuries with direct access to the river and downtown. It was convenient to load and unload the car since we parked right next to the tiny home. The interior of the space feels much bigger than it is, and it helps that the table inside is a retractable leaf from the wall. The good:- the huge king sized bed felt unreal- shower is big and water got warm quickly- large basin kitchen sink w/own sponge and soap. Having the burners and the fridge was a luxury.- quality Malin + Goetz shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and soap- low profile baseboard heater and standing fan included- lots of built in shelving in the main area- fridge- quality fixtures, windows ,and great warm ambient lighting options. Small handheld lamp was also a nice touch- Checking in was a breeze and staff are soo kind and helpfulCould be better:- blinds for the entrance left a large gap through the side to see in still. We had to drape a towel we brought over to cover the gap- window next to bed had too long of a paper/crepe type of curtain that got the bed and I kept bumping into- under the sink shelf in the restroom would be nice to have our toiletries stored in- diagram photo in the booking showed camp chairs outside. There is actually only a small fire pit and a picnic table.- facilities offered wifi on the check in brochure, but it wasn't reachable in the home. Not sure if that was intentional or not. Either way, I was not expecting to have wifi.- a few more sets of silverware and perhaps a larger bowl would be helpfulOverall I'd stay here again and recommend it to all my friends! They did a lovely job taking into consideration the space and investing in the tiny homes. *Photos taken were from when we had finished our stay*Walkability: Walkable straight to dt area”
