“This has been my go to place for the 5 years I've lived here. **EDIT: 7 years now ☺️**The previous owners (husband and wife) were always so wonderful and super sweet, I was definitely bummed when they said they were selling. but the new owners (2 brothers) are just as awesome ?**there are 2 more guys that also work here now.**All of them are always super nice, very cool guys to chat with and deal with for sure.The selection of alcohol/beer/wines is crazy! I mean, it's called Mr. Liquor for a reason, right??? ? Nah, but really.. pretty much anything you're looking for, I'm gonna bank on them having it.. but on the off chance they don't, you could ask them to order it and usually they'll get some in for next time ?TL:DRMr. Liquor is THE BEST! Period. Over. Hands down. Can't be beat ?????”

“I am not a huge poster, and only do this when something really steps over the line from a really good experience to a truly great experience. There is a lot of good to great moves with Riley's taking over Hacienda, but my focus will be on Chef David's elevation of the food experience at Riley's. Chef David has added a burger, the Campagna Waygu burger, that quite literally could be the best burger in the Greater Sacramento area. Don't think it is only about this burger, all their food has been significantly elevated with Chef David at the helm in the kitchen. However, the Campagna is a masterpiece, with a near perfect compostion with the bun, patty, fixings, and sauces exquisitely paired in perfect proportion. This compostion leads to a flavor experience the blows the doors off any other "sit-down" establishment burger. The use of crispy prosciutto in lieu of bacon provides a salty, fatty, crunch astutely complimenting the melty, butteryness of the marscapone-gorgonzola cheese with a fig jam that rounds out the complex flavors with a perfect pinch of sweetness. Add in Chef David wonderfully seasoned Waygu patty that he and his team cook to a perfect medium temp, and this burger will head straight to the top of your burger list too. Thanks Kim and David for another awesome experience last night, and we will see the Riley's crew again soon!Ps. The fried bologne sandwich is also one that holds a special place in my heart...”

“I first heard about this shop on an IG video and have wanted to come for a while. I live in Reno, about two hours away, so I am not in the area. I called and spoke to the owners on the phone a few days ago looking for a specific tequila, and they said they had it in stock! I decided to make the drive down there today to pick up some tequila for a tasting I am soon hosting. I would never have guessed that this small unassuming shop would have such an enormous variety of high-quality product. They have one of the best selections of additive-free tequila I have ever seen! I was not prepared for the decisions that had to be made in order to leave with only two bottles. I will most definitely be returning to add to my library. The owners were very friendly and incredibly helpful in answering any questions I had about Tequila or whiskey. I messaged a friend of mine to see if there was any whiskey that he wanted. I picked up two bottles of Eagle Rare 10 year bourbon for him.”

Entire staffwas extremely friendly and helpful and ready and willing to answer any and all questions you have about brewing from beginning to end. We have never brewed before and were Nervous and concerned about the complexity of the chemistry and equipment involved with home brewing, but felt capable and confident to now begin trying to brew at home. “I've been wanting to try one stop shop for a liquor store. By this I mean, a liquor store with drink bags to go! All you need is the bag and a cup of ice. Yassss! My friend found this liquor store one day and told me we had to go. There is a fridge with a variety of flavors. They even had party pack drinks! “With a doubt the best wood fired pizza in the area. If you have never had a wood fired pizza you have to try it, it's a game changer! Just don't be like the lady that wanted a refund because it was "burned", it's supposed to have charred parts, that's what sets it apart from "oven" pizzas and adds to the flavor. “Bourbon fans rejoice. A liquor store with good to fair prices, employees who seem to know something about their product, and are friendly. Now, from my limited experience, no one will call this place refined, the employees clearly partake in what they sell (a plus for me), but when I am in their for 20 minutes browsing their selection, it is clear that they have many regulars and this is there go to spot. It is easy to see why. They have some hard to find bourbons and reasonable prices, Eagle Rare and Henry McKenna 10 year.”
