“I came into this store after having a very frustrating and fruitless experience at the Auburn Home Depot. I was asked within five seconds of entering this store if I needed help. Told them I was looking for a plastic panel to cover a florescent light fixture. Gentleman not only showed me what I was looking for, but also helped me look through the different types they had so I picked out the right one, and even cut it for me without charging the cutting fee. I think it’s obvious where I will be shopping from now on.”
“Extensive variety of gardening supplies and plants. Everyone is friendly, and one could spend hours just wandering through the beautiful flowers and trees. There are tons of gift ideas inside, too.”

“My last visit to Miller's Ace hardware was such a great experience I decided it was high time I gave them the five stars they deserved in a review. All the staff were so helpful and welcoming, it felt sortof like a small-town hardware store where staff and customers all know each other's names. Devin went above and beyond with his expert help troubleshooting a problem with my lamp. He had a pleasant and helpful manner, and this sort of personal service is something you will never encounter in a large DIY hardware store. I'm definitely going back to Miller's Ace for all my next projects.”

“So this store is really good, and may just be one of the primary reasons why I always have a little less $$ in my bank account but it is the people that work here that I want to highlight. These guys are wood workers and craftsmen. It’s like they love woodworking so much that they decided to work there (the thought has crossed my mind ?). I really appreciate the enthusiasm and knowledge these guys have. I can explain what I’m trying to do or what I’m stuck in and they have expertise to come up with alternative ideas. Just terrific folks. I have also introduced a few of my fiends to Rockler’s classes. My friends were complete novices but really enjoyed the two “make and take” classes we all attended. One was a cutting board class and the other was a pen turning class. If you have not checked out there classes, I highly suggest you do. If you have not visited this Rockler, I suggest you do! My only complaint is how much money I spend here ?, so be careful when you come… they have a terrific inventory of some pretty terrific things. I am very thankful to have this store so close. And to the staff, keep up the good work all!
BTW, I added some pictures to highlight some of the hardwood/plywood/machinery I have purchased at Rockler, but mostly to brag lol ?!”
“My 1st visit and 1st purchase here in harbor freight tools and this location/branch is by far the best customer service experience ? the guy at the floor that helped me find tools was fast , easy & accurate.
Also the lady at cashier (Salvador on my receipt) was really friendly and accurate with helping out on my coupons ?

“Right from the get go since they opened up shop, I’m been a happy customer. They carry all the hardware items I need and knowledgeable and friendly staff willing to assist. This saves me a trip across town to the big box shop empty of enough staff to provide assistance.
I bought a Weber grill from them in the first month they opened. The delivery and set up was great. When the lid was scratched during delivery, the staff made it right and replaced it. No hassles. Did I mention… no hassle. That is the repeating theme that brings me back. I’ve bought pool cleaning supplies, bolts, houseplants, grill accessories, canning jars, etc. Staff are super friendly and always ask if I need assistance.
If you sign up for their rewards program, you’ll receive coupons and discounts which at times are quite significant.
Plus get this. Most all Ace hardwares, including this one, sells frozen pies. Pies! The pies are made from The Pie Company in Ripon, CA. Soooo many flavors. And another great thing is this Ace partners with other local small business food vendors to sell their home made products. Near the cash registers, check out the selection.”

“Nice store, attentive employees and good selection. Sadly the Democrats in CA have made consumer prices out of line with to many regulations on businesses, costs for minimum wages are way to high and CA government is no friendly with companies. It makes the consumer shopping experience poor and goods are simply unaffordable for DIY work any longer.”
“James was such a wonderful help to me. James took the time to listen to me, provide a solution to my question regarding switching from flourescent lights to compatible LED lighting. He offered to carry my purchase out to my car which I so appreciated. It was dark, and it was just thoughtful. I will be back to this place as my first choice for any other needs that Harbor Freight provides.”

“They give military discounts. They often have the stuff the other two big stores don't have. It's easy to find someone to help you there. I ordered a custom exterior door. You never know what they will have on clearance there. Today they had a skill radial arm saw for a hundred and fifty bucks . That's like 100 off.”
“Employee helped me find items I was looking for and then gave me some tips on sizing wire nuts. Good customer service today. Normally I find someone not familiar with the department items and cannot point out the required items in electrical to do the job. In the fan department they did not have stock of the display I wanted. They have Hampton Bay but not Hunter ceiling fans.”
“I have been here often. I am always working on a DIY at home. I get great help here. Today it was paint and I have bought appliances here as well. They have beautiful flowers for the garden and a lot of supplies for home projects.”

“Home Depot close to home!! Yay!! Coming here for (nearly) all of our home improvement needs. Staff is friendly, helpful, and this place is surprisingly CLEAN! Another Home Depot I recall had huge rats running around the aisles.. pretty nasty. Didn't see anything like that in this location. Selection is vast, just as you'd expect your local Home Depot to be. Great deals all the time, just depends on what you need and when you need it. Parking has always been manageable every time we've returned. Surrounding area, as you can imagine, is safe and environment is great for family. Just don't let your toddlers go running around or they could get seriously hurt! Glad this Home Depot is close to home. Will be stopping by often, for sure.”

“I was frustrated when I learned that I needed a valid California drivers license to rent their equipment. I had reserved & paid over the phone, but still didn’t know about the Ca dl thing. I had a work around & everything was fine ( I ultimately know this was my fault ). The staff in the office & in the yard were professional & very helpful. But if you are starting getting stuff done with your hands, this is a great place to start with.

And yet has most of the stuff you need for a quick job.
People are great and why not, you can bring your dog in for a stroll in this heated summers of ours.

“First of all, this is a contractor store so I felt a bit apprehensive going in for the first time as I am just a DIY homeowner trying to fix my drip system. As soon as I walked in , Michael greeted me and made me feel right at home. He personally walked me thru my project and hand picked all the parts I needed himself! Later that day I had to go back for another part and Roberto provided me with the exact same level of service. It's clear that service is a big part of their store culture and they perform the lost art of customer service better than almost any other business I have encountered in the last year. Thanks guys for the great service and sorry Lowes and Home Depot, you lose!”
