“I like to support mom & pop owned stores. I'm not sure about the mom & pop owned part but, this is NOT part of a chain. I could actually spend hours inside this little gem of a hardware store. They have a little of everything and of course, all of the stuff one goes to a hardware store for which I call "grown up stuff" (nails, screws, paint brushes, THAT kinda stuff). The man that helped me was great, he was knowledgeable and helpful but, left me alone so that, I could wander the aisles and buy stuff I didn't even know I needed but, now can't live without. I highly recommend North Hollywood Hardware.”

If you want extremely cheap products they will have a variety and if you're willing to spend a little extra they have it all as well. John is always helpful and assists me with situations I come across. Never have been upsold by them and are always going out of their way showing me the differences in brands and products and how I could cut my costs down to be able to work on more cars. “I am not a pro auto painter but have painted a few cars a year for the last 20 yrs(a few motor cycles and some spot repairs) all i can say is they have done a great job matching any color that i have needed including custom pearls metalics and pastels. They have very good prices and good service.The only complaint i would have is sometimes they close a bit early if bussiness is slow so just call ahead if you are going to get there close to closing time. I highly recomend them if you have a hard to match color or just need common body shop supplies.”

“DUNN-EDWARDS PAINTS in Encino is easy to find and easy to get into. They have their own free parking lot with plenty of available spaces.The people are friendly and helpful, but did not hover. I was able to take my time choosing the right shade of "white". Boring, I know, but I was surprised by how many there are.I was able to narrow down my choices and take home the card samplers to show my contractor, who was then able to get small samples for testing.Very convenient. My project is done and I am very happy with the way the color turned out.Now that it's time for another painting project...”

“I had such a great experience with both this location and the Northridge location. Victor at the Canoga Park (CP) location went above and beyond to help me secure the paint I needed [Benjamin Moore Province Blue for those curious]. After I purchased all 5 gallons available in CP, Victor called other locations and even drove to pick up the additional paint and brought it back to the CP location so it would be there just in case I needed it the next day. This was vital because the CP location is 5 min from my workspace - where I was having the painting done. This foresight on Victor's part was amazing because *spoiler alert* we did indeed run out of paint. I can't recommend this business highly enough and will definitely return here for all my painting needs. Updating this review to note that this entire job was a team effort. “The store manager, Amir, is excellent!! I'm a designer and if possible I try to go to this location. A few weeks ago I had an issue with getting a paint color to match an existing paint. He was so helpful in assisting with it and really helped me through it until I was happy.
