I have a 6 month old baby, and I had forgotten my stroller and was carrying him. Someone walked by and saw my hands were full, and without saying anything went and got me a cart. It was very sweet”

“BASIC STORE WITH EXTRAORDINARY WORKERS:This is a relatively small-sized Albertson's, and yet one of the busier locations due to it's prominent space in the Calle Real Center in Goleta. It's not fancy, and in fact, is likely overdue for a much-needed makeover. However, it's clean and the workers go out of their way to smile and extend a little cheer, despite their busy days. I have had the pleasure of getting to know a few of the checkers as I often find myself stocking up at this location. Things I would not change:***Their lovely workers and their great attitude. Things I would change:*** More diversity of products (such as what I find at the Buellton Albertson's location).*** A much larger baked goods section or actually adding a small on-site bakery. Remember to say hi and thank your hard working essential service workers as you peruse.”

“The pharmacists and staff here are GREAT. Very sick with covid in September, because of their extra efforts at the very end of the work day, they went the extra mile to fill an RX for paxlovid for me. I am so grateful. The staff and pharmacists are BESIEGED with sick, needy and demanding people ALL DAY LONG. We customers need to be more forgiving, understanding and tolerant.”

“This is a Mexican market/restaurant. The 5 stars are for the amazing breakfast burrito that keeps me coming back! Forget the fact that these are busy people running a business, regardless of the wait, the loaded breakfast burrito is the BEST in old town. There's another amazing spot that has loaded burritos but it costs you about $15 where here's it's about $10 depending on if you add extra toppings. I recommend you try the breakfast burrito with jamón (ham) you'll be full for breakfast AND lunch. Please be patient, yes the wait can be long at times; they take care of the grocery lines and the food order lines, but I promise it's worth the wait.”

“This vons has some of the BEST employees! I can say so much about a few, but specifically Michael aka Mike. My wife and I used to live nearby and would visit this vons almost everyday and every time we came in, we left smiling because of his excellent customer service. We moved away, and after 2 years we came back and surprised Mike. He remembered us, and he was still the incredible employee and friend we came to appreciate! Ty again!! We saw the employees at this location go through hell during the pandemic. An through it all they never stopped being kind, helpful, and genuine human beings. Mai, the manager helped my family and we still appreciate her for all she did for us too! These employees don't get the acknowledgment and appreciation they deserve, but they really are wonderful.
