Myriad complications arose, none of which were the fault of Golden 1, and I must say how thoroughly impressed I was at the response to these complications. The kindness of Karla and her supervisor in assisting me was unparalleled. In our modern world where it is difficult to even speak to a human being let alone have a business matter handled professionally, efficiently, and courteously, Golden 1 deserves sincere praise! Karla and her supervisor stayed half an hour past closing time on a Friday evening in order to troubleshoot the problems and arrive at a resolution. Not only did they succeed, but the whole staff admired and interacted with my eight-month-old baby in the meantime, who was having a very challenging day with his teething. Many thanks to you all for taking the time to help with a smile!”

“BASIC STORE WITH EXTRAORDINARY WORKERS:This is a relatively small-sized Albertson's, and yet one of the busier locations due to it's prominent space in the Calle Real Center in Goleta. It's not fancy, and in fact, is likely overdue for a much-needed makeover. However, it's clean and the workers go out of their way to smile and extend a little cheer, despite their busy days. I have had the pleasure of getting to know a few of the checkers as I often find myself stocking up at this location. Things I would not change:***Their lovely workers and their great attitude. Things I would change:*** More diversity of products (such as what I find at the Buellton Albertson's location).*** A much larger baked goods section or actually adding a small on-site bakery. Remember to say hi and thank your hard working essential service workers as you peruse.”

“I've always had a very positive experience coming to this bank. They are socially distancing and only allow a certain number of people so expect a short wait. The workers are SO kind- I wanted to give a big shoutout to Natalie and Evelyn! They both are very sweet, knowledgeable, and took their time with me. I would highly recommend this location. It is really nice to have such exceptional customer service- even amongst these difficult times. Great job ladies!!”
