“One of my favorite places to buy marinated meat...communicating may be tough with the staff and the selection may be hit or miss- but the items they do have always fantastic.... The pork with lemon grass in particular was fantastic.”

“1. The sandwich was made on the spot, and it was huge!2. This spot is definitely a butcher shop that just sells sandwiches on the side!3. The staff were friendly and quick with preparing my order!4. Parking is plenty in this shared lot!Note: Even if the open sign is not on, they are opened at 9 am! Photo: The Italian”

“Noorani Grocery Zabiha Halal Meat in Garden Grove became my go-to place for all my Indian grocery needs after I discovered it. The prices are reasonable in comparison to other grocery stores in the area, and the product quality is excellent. The store carries a large selection of spices, herbs, lentils, and other staple ingredients used in the preparation of traditional Indian dishes. For those who follow a halal diet, the Zabiha Halal meat section is an added bonus. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommended it to all.”

“A truly unique European-style deli-bodega. It is my understanding that the owners of this establishment are of Romanian descent. The products on sale here are definitely imported, and I'm working my way thru the different pickles and mustards and jams and jellies. They also serve food. I had a toasted ham and cheese, and my wife had stuffed cabbage. Each was tasty. I recommend this place.”

“I feel like this place gets a bad rap for all the wrong reasons. The workers are actually really nice and friendly, and it makes sense that they would be vigilant over their products because their setup leaves room for customers possibly stealing. Also, the prices listed are per pound; so considering that everything is pretty much snack-sized, it's actually pretty reasonable. But to really think about it, a pound of anything in the store is bound to be expensive. And I don't know about you, but buying one pound of Milk Almond Candy could last me forever. Not bad at all - definitely worth a visit!”
