Healthy Paws Veterinary Care
1082 E Bastanchury Rd #102, FullertonVery impressed with the pet centered care here. Came in for a second opinion for my dog’s paw infection. And instead of a quick 5min look and suggesting toe amputation and mass removal, they were able to detail pre -surgical assessment blood work and X-rays to determine best action for my 14yr old dog. Dr. Suh is very considerate, honest and patient with her explanations for determining soft tissue or toe amputation surgery. I highly recommend a consultation with them before surgery.

Zecto Hot Chicken
907 W Orangethorpe Ave Suite 101, FullertonOh danggggg. I've been seeing this place as I drive by and had it bookmarked for a while and finally got around to trying it after seeing it pop up on my IG feed. Note - we did order takeout so can't speak to the dine in experience. We got the 4 piece tender, medium level spicy, 10 piece wings, mango habanero and Mac and cheese. Super easy to place a takeout order on their website - they did run out of wings so they gave us boneless wings instead and a free cookie. The tenders are HUGE and so so juicy and delicious! The medium level has a great kick of spice (I would actually maybe go down one level next time). Mango habanero was also pretty delicious but I def prefer a traditional wing over boneless. Mac and cheese was also yummy and not overly wet. Prices are reasonable and portions are great! Will definitely be back!!

Huntington Ramen & Sushi
1325 E Chapman Ave, FullertonThe sushi was amazing, and the tan tan ramen broth was delicious. The ramen noodles were more firm than usual, but some people may actually prefer them al dente like that. The standard ramen was lacking in vegetables and fancy toppings: just broth, ground meat, noodles, and two small pieces of bok choi. If you order ramen, be sure to add corn or another vegetable.

All About Pho
100 S Harbor Blvd Suite B, Fullertondecent pho restaurant located in downtown Fullerton. Pros: Broth was rich and unlimited noodles, staff were friendly and helpful Cons: Service was slow, not a big fan on the pickled onions as the only option for onions, seat/table height was uncomfortable for tall people

The Night Owl
200 N Harbor Blvd, FullertonChill place with decent coffee. The Elvis latte was good but really sweet, and kind of pricey for a smaller coffee. Options for people who don’t like coffee too. Lots of seating and the outdoor seating was a nice plus. Friendly and quick service.
Dietary restrictions: Oat and almond milk

Zombee Donuts
802 E Chapman Ave, FullertonThe doughnuts are a little bit pricey at $4 for the specialty ones with a fee, but they are fun and tasty as well. The staff were not too friendly and it was a little awkward when we were looking at doughnuts. We were the only ones in the shop and the staff were standing and watching us but never greeted us or said anything at all. The doughnuts were very good, though I was disappointed in the Nutella flavor. The doughnut was good, but I didn't taste any Nutella at all! Just chocolate. The bathroom situation was strange, which is why I posted a pic of the window from outside. Anyone from the nearby houses or a tall car could easily have seen in the window! They should consider getting curtains.

Barrel & Stave at Jaxon's
204 N Harbor Blvd, FullertonThe tenders here are substantial in comparison to Dave's and other tender places. You rarely see tenders as thick and juicy as these. Another selling point are the number of different dipping sauces they have here. This isn't Nashville chicken, so don't expect it to have that chili sugar oil rub you would get with Nashville. Instead they use a dry spice rub that is accurate to what you order each and every time. My go-to lately has been the mac n cheese bowl where they give you two cut up tenders on top of a bowl of freshly boiled macaroni pasta. The cheese sauce is creamy good and there's melted cheese mixed in for some cheese pull. You get to choose the amount of spice on your chicken and also get to pick a sauce that I like to drizzle on top of the bowl. The service is always friendly and they have a customer program where you earn points towards discounted food. Always a good time here at Jaxon's.

SweetsStop
1335 E Chapman Ave, FullertonSooo, I learned today is National Caramel Apple Day. I happened to be up in the Buena Park area and Yelped which shop(s) had a good one nearby. I drove here because it's rated #5 in OC. The shopkeepers were surprised because they did not know of this 'holiday' nor their ranking. At least 25-30% of their sweets look to be hand-dipped apples. Plus, they have dipped Oreos, decorated cookies, cakes, doggie treats and more. I told them I specially wanted to support small business instead of say Rocky Mtn Chocolate Factory. They told me (and showed me in comparison), their apples are much larger than theirs and have gained more customers because of this! I bought one rocky road apple, one dog treat and one decorated cookie. Thanks Sweet Stop-I will recommend to my family and friends for sure.
