“This marked my first visit to Mark's Transmission, now formally known as MTS Transmission, and I must admit, I've never had a better experience dealing with mechanics. Initially, I took my Jeep Wrangler to the dealership, where they proposed replacing the entire rear differential at a steep price. However, upon a recommendation, I visited MTS Transmission, and it turned out to be the best decision I could have made. Mark was exceptionally pleasant and patient. He took the time to inspect my Jeep thoroughly and provided a detailed explanation of the issue. Contrary to the dealership's recommendation, it was determined that my Jeep didn't require a full rear differential replacement, but rather just the rear differential carrier, along with the installation of new side bearings and rear axle bearings, which resulted in a much more reasonable overall cost. I will certainly return in the future. Many thanks to Mark and his team for their assistance and efforts in getting my Jeep back on the road.”

Recently brought in my 05 Acura RL (200k miles)… For diagnostic of a potential cooling system issue and general inspection. Upon talking with Erik at first arrival, He was very polite and knowledgeable & listened to my concerns with the vehicle. Erik/team did a very thorough inspection and concluded that one of my fans was not working. Was very pleased with the overall experience, their inspection report and the included detail !

“When you have a 1977 Datsun 280Z with Airconditioning and an Automatic Transmission that is, . . infested with Gremlins (not the American Motor's versions) of the little bug types. The only place to go and the only person on the west coast of California is Ken at Dando's Automotive.

Give him time and be patient, because there are places that even experienced owners and former mechanics like me that think they know what's going on are unaware of the craziest of possible problems. I've had my 77 since it was brand new and it took over a year of chasing, but Ken sorted it out when no one else could. “Let me begin by saying I did not have an appointment with this repair shop, my appointment was with the shop next door to ARS. The owner's shop was to open at 9:00, and I was there before then to have my engine light checked out. I drive to Milpitas to take care of my 95 year old dad, but I was too scared to drive on the freeway with this engine light on, so I waited. I texted and called and never heard back, so I had to come up with a Plan B. ARS door was open and I thought the worst he could say is" no time today", but Daniel was amazing. He finished up with his customer and took care of me. Took step by step to show and explain to me what might be the problem.
