Pet Care

Colin Chaves, DVM
30303 CA-20, Fort BraggMy dog now looks forward to going to vet check-ups. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I found Dr. Chaves to be very straight-forward and informative. I felt like I learned more about my pet in his office compared to past vet experiences. I look forward to the visits, under good circumstances, of course.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Noyo Fish Company
32440 N Harbor Dr, Fort BraggSalmon tacos were outstanding. Fish in the Fish & Chips was also excellent. Fries were not...I hate these "new" coated and seasoned fries. Clam Chowder was very good, tons of clams and a good portion, but it wasn't hot. Great service. Atmosphere could not be beat, even in the rain!

Tall Guy Brewing
362 N Franklin St, Fort BraggFull disclosure: I don't drink booze, so can't comment on the quality of their brews. However, I do go to Tall Guy a few times a month for many of their community-building events (tango, open mic, other random shows). The place is comfortable and welcoming and, even though they don't make food themselves, there's always a food truck or other vendor if you need a bite to eat. Plus, they're dog friendly!

Sea Pal Cove
32390 N Harbor Dr, Fort BraggSo good! Tried a couple of other places down here on the wharf. This is by far the best place to eat. Fast and just good food. I liked the clam Chowder. I just wasn't a fan of the huge pieces of clams in it. They were giant pieces. I'm sure others would enjoy that, though. I will definitely come back here again. My mimosa was also delicious too. We got 1 fish and chips, 1 clam chowder bowl. 1 prawns and chips and 1 mimosa, 1 ipa beer, and a dog pattie for a total of $81 something that's with a $5 tip.

Mayan Fusion
418 N Main St, Fort BraggThe food was not what I was expecting. But it hit the spot. I was the only diner, as I arrived between lunch service and dinner service. So service was prompt and attentive. The waiter made recommendations. The food was novel. And tasty. If you're in the neighborhood, I recommend trying it.

La Playa | Mexican Restaurant
760 S Main St, Fort BraggThe food is great. Ordered a Torta with carne asada, and also beans as a side dish and I was not disappointed. This is Not an American Mexican place. They have draft Modelo and the server was so nice and kind. Would come back when I'm in town

Overtime Brewing
190 E Elm St, Fort BraggWe just dropped in, and the food was a surprise. The mac n cheese was yummy and obviously house made with large shells, crispy bacon, and some bell peppers for added crunch. The cheese wasn't your usual cheddar sauce. My husband had the burger and handcut fries. They were all crisp. We would definitely return.

Noyo Harbor Inn
Main Building, 500 Casa Del Noyo, Fort BraggWe stopped here for lunch. It was a gorgeous day so we sat outside and listened to the seals. This is such a beautiful location, along the river. The service was really great. We had the fish tacos (a special) and they were delicious. Next time we stay in the area I would love to stay here.

Rollin’ Dough Baking Co
18180 Ocean Dr, Fort BraggSuch a cute little place just north of Mendocino on the way to Ft. Bragg. It looks like a little house you are pulling up in front of and you can either walk or drive up to the drive through window as there is no inside. Picnic tables outside to enjoy your baked goods and iced coffee which made to a wonderful start to the day. Especially loved the ham and cheese croissant which I highly recommend. Staff was so cheerful and helpful. Greet stop to stop for baked good.
