“It was a cold, rainy day and I had unfortunately misplaced my gloves while walking down Sutter Street. Not to mention our 6 year old didn't bring a pair. After asking nearby businesses if they carried gloves or mittens, they mentioned we might be in luck with this boutique! Thankfully they had hats, scarves and the high-quality brand of gloves I love! I got the last festive color CC Lined Cable Knit Ribbed Gloves in Burgundy for myself and Ribbed Gloves in Clay for my daughter! They definitely kept my hands cozy, bonus they touch-screen and her pair were big on her, but she loved them and they kept her cozy as well during the holiday event we attended! I would recommend this boutique and we'll definitely be returning to this small business to shop until we drop ha ha! The staff member working was really sweet and when my daughter asked what all the doors were for, she said they offered waxing, eyelash extensions and even had a hair salon in the back! The husband is a great guy, a very kind man who offered us a lot of tips on the correct way to use and care for the products we bought. “This review is LONG overdue. Last year I had a horrific experience where my body swelled all over and I had to have my wedding ring cut off. My husband and I were planning to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary in Australia and I wanted to have my ring fixed for that adventure. So we took the ring into Roger's Jewelry in Folsom and spoke with Jodi Ziony about getting it fixed. That day, unknown to us, was a special day where they had various specials and deals. Jodi told us we could fix the ring, but also told us about the sale and we decided to just look, it doesn't hurt to do that. Well, looking led to wanting. My eyes caught the most beautiful vintage inspired wedding ring. There are no words to describe the beauty of this ring. Pictures don't capture it's beauty. So I asked her, is the ring pricing equivalent to a new car? She proceeded to help us obtain this ring for a price that was unbelievable. This was a memorable experience that we will remember forever. We worked together, with so much excitement and glee to build the ring. She even helped me score an UNBELIEVABLE deal on a special ring for my husband. It was like shopping with your best friend. I was not an easy customer while I was waiting, and even right after getting this beauty on my finger. Do not be fooled, my gratitude for this material object is off the charts. I told my girlfriend I call it my precious, because when it catches the light I can't stop staring at it. Not okay to obsess over a material item in this way...but I do. Jodi not only made the initial purchase special, when we came to pick up the rings, she gift wrapped them so we could open them together. It was magical. “I am completely sold on the Home Consignment Furniture Stores, and have shopped at various sites since 2002. Great service and delivery; unique quality furnishings and extremely reasonably priced items. This allows me to always pay cash; therefore, we haven't had any monthly furniture bills in over twenty years. It has been a win win for both sides. I even furnished my daughter's house with model home pieces that she would still be paying for five years later, if we had gone to a "regular" store. Just in case you were wondering, everyone is more than complementary to us about our home. It's a warm and eclectically decorated 3600 square feet home. I guess the only negative statement I can make is that I try not to go to Home Consignment Stores any more, because my house is full.”
