“I want to give a huge shoutout to this store for rectifying an issue that AppleCare had no intention of rectifying. They went above and beyond the call of duty to not only get me a same day appointment, they took care of things quickly and tried to do anything they could to make up for AppleCare's mistakes. I was ready to leave the Apple ecosystem from the level of frustration I reached, however these folks turned things around.I will be coming here whenever future service is needed.”

“Long overdue review but this is THE place if you're looking for trustworthy, capable and honest service.My MacBook Pro 2016 was having issues where the screen wouldn't turn on anymore (seemed positional and so disappointing considering how much $$ I had dropped on it when it first came out) I came in expecting to have to shell hundreds of dollars to get it fixed.The owner took a look and printed me out info about the unit having a known issue with the backlight. He told me to go to the Apple Store and show them that and they will fix it. He could've charged me to do it.I was skeptical since the Apple care has lapsed but anyways off I went to an Apple store in 2022. And they were able to fix my baby back up! For free!I'm still happily using my laptop to this day. 5 stars. Thank you so much for your honesty and expertise.”

“I am so glad to have this place nearby. The owner is honest and will tell you if he doesn't think a repair is likely and/or worth the cost. I had one laptop that needed a new screen, and he told me that for the cost to replace it (an older model) I'd be better off buying a new one. He has replaced the charging port in one of my laptops, which has allowed me to continuting using it even a year later. And after I recently spilled coffee with lots of milk on a new laptop that I'd hardly used, he was not optimistic he could fix it, but I asked him to try anyway, and he was able to clean it out and replace the keyboard, and now it's working again. The cost was totally reasonable in light of the price of the laptop and short time I'd used it.Plus, he still uses a dot matrix printer, which is quite a feat!I totally recommend this place.”

“My Asus ROG G703i laptop had a busted DC jack and will no longer power up nor hold a charge. I dropped by GCS and they confidently said that they could repair it. Well, guess what? GCS finally fixed my laptop and now the laptop is up and running! Thanks, GCS! Much obliged!”

“M.A.C. rescued me when my printer jammed and I could not free it. HP online support was useless and their chat also, so I quickly looked up computer repair, found MAC, called them up and was able to bring in the printer just before they closed. Wai Lee freed the jam and charged me nothing! Now I know where to go for all my pc problems and supplies.”

“You have a computer problem? They will fix it.I spilled water on my laptop and bought it in to see if there was anything recoverable on it. This is a month after the spillage. My expectations were low (a mean, a whole month had gone by) but somehow, allll my data was recovered. All of it. All my thousands and thousands of pictures I take but do nothing with, old college papers, word documents, everything. I have no words. I mean, I know to go back up my stuff so this won't happen again but if anything ever does, I know where to go.”

“You can find better prices at Walmart, but most of the stores are a TOTAL MESS! Good luck finding items in stock! They usually only keep office items well stocked right before school starts.I have been shopping at the Emeryville Office Depot for years. The store is ALWAYS clean, organized and well stocked!!I have never had a problem finding things in this store and if I can’t, there is always someone to help me.If I end up paying a little more, that is better than driving all the way to a Walmart, wasting my time and gas only to find that they don’t carry, or are out of stock of what I am looking for.As far as Amazon…I DON’T want to pay for shipping. I DON’T want to pay a yearly fee to get free shipping. I DON’T want my order stolen off of my porch and I DON’T want to drive to a pick up location!I DO like going into a store to browse around and see what is available as well as seeing and talking to people.The cashier, Maneesha is super friendly and Charles is always asking customers if they need help. Great store for office supplies! The one thing I do miss is some of the quirky / fun things they would get for their Black Friday / Christmas sales.”
