“I'm impressed with this store and it's concept. The Elk Grove store is near, and organized. The selections change often/seasonally and there is allot of great deals, housewares, cooking extras, kitchenwares. Good place to go when you need "Home Goods"... Ya see what I did there? ?”

“The store was well stocked. There were long lines, but the lines were moving in a timely manner. The only thing I didn't like was the safety to the store, from the parking lot for handicap people or people in general. We had to park around the corner of the building in a handicap place to be safe on the same sidewalk as the store.”

“Great shoe selection...good name brands HURLEY, CONVERSE, UNDER ARMOUR, HURLEY, POLO, REEBOK, DOC MARTINS, ADIDAS, VANS , GUESS, PUMA, MADDEN GIRL, SKETCHERS, AESICS .... tennis shoes, pool shoes, Sandals, slides, Boots, some but not many womens heels/ dress shoes... lots of variations but not in every size...meaning many styles and colors were available in only a couple different sizes...some were only in one size. Really nice to find good shoes at decent prices though!! only reason for 1 less star is I saw a cute pair of pool slides and it was the only pair no price though...there were a few employees close but the 2 women in the shoe area seemed very busy.. there were 2 guys just kinda standing around....white dress shirt black pants and hanging out by exit which is adjacent to shoe area... i wasnt sure they/he wasnt just security (and greeter/s) but when i saw one of them putting shoes back i chanced asking him if he could price check or if i needed to ask cashier...he took the shoes.. left briefly came back and said 50$ i said there were several other shoes ..sandals and tennis shoes by that brand and none were 50$.... the most expensive pair by that brand was 35$ he shrugged. When i tried to ask if there was anyone else who could check he just said 50$ and walked away ...also he didnt bring them back which was weird. So his unhelpful rudeness is why i docked a star...* note i had (and spent) over $150 in other shoe pairs when this occurred. Im sure it wasnt me ... he seemed unhappy in general..i think maybe the cashier had asked him to put those away and it wasnt his typical duty(?) still, i didnt appreciate it.
Prices reasonable and otherwise great trip... I will most likely look here for tennis shoes in the future...they even had aesics! (Avg 25-38$ on msrp 40-60). The Doc Martin Dress shoe-boots were $50...but MSRP is 90$+”
“The City of Elk Grove has two Walmart stores. The newer store is at the corner of Bruceville Road and Whitelock Parkway. It is a little less crowded. The store is also better organized. So, I would have liked to go to this Walmart more, even though it is a little farther away.
The store is the same as most of the other Walmart stores. It is huge, clean, and organized, and the employees are working hard, but there are no smiles, and the cashier at the express checkout counter does not even say a single word to me or the customer in front of me. I remember the workers in this store were unusually better!”

“Fresh french bread made daily for only a dollar. This is one of Walmart's best selling fresh food items that is a-for-sure thing. Check it out for yourself.
This bread loaf is free from preservatives and tastes pretty amazing.”
“This target location is very convenient. There is also a Starbucks inside which is a 2 for 1 for me. The employees are always kind and there is a good selection of just about everything (clothes, food, bath items etc. I rarely have to ask for things from the back or a different location. Target is getting a bit pricey but I like to pay for convenience and quality.”
“Not sure why this Walmart has such low reviews. I think this one might be the best one in Elk Grove, our go to. Walmart is a Walmart, but definitely cleaner and much more availability in their items. The lines do go pretty quickly as well.”

“A wall of sunglasses! Tons of pirses and bags...even selection of different seethrough purses (needed for most concert venues) Cute shoes...huge selection. Flipflops and sandals starting at $5 average 13-17$....candles , kitchenwares, housewares. Summer seasonal items, outdoor garden stuff, planter pots, lawn games. Swimwear.
Womens bras and underwear sets avg 40-50% off retail....
Super impressed by selection of baby stuff. 3 pack wipes 5$ they had baby tubs, blankets, clothes, play mats, bathsets, baby adidas tracksuit...
Brands such as: Juicy couture. Steve madden, guess, DKNY, disney, xoxo, puma doc martins, reebok, converse, vans.
Checkout was a little slow but staff was friendly, polite and helpful”

“This Walmart Pharmacy is the best! Staff here are very nice and helpful, I can never find my RX due to it being "out of stock" but this location is always able to fill my prescription it is a 30 minute drive for me as I live in Sacramento but so worth it and I will continue to use this pharmacy. This is a great experience thank you to the staff for always helping me with a smile.”
