“This is a great business. They are always friendly, helpful, and professional whether you need an appointment, prescription refill, or just have a question, they are there to help. Our veterinarian was Dr Navia. She is a superb clinician, has great surgical skills and is very gentle with animals. She treated our dog for a bad heart valve and heart failure over a couple of years. When his disease progressed and we decided on euthanasia to prevent suffering she was very skillful at the procedure and provided us emotional support as well. Everyone at the facility is service oriented. You will never feel like you are bothering them and never feel like they are in it for the money. A simply great group of people. As a retired family doctor I give them my best recommendation,”

“This was my first time at Covina Animal Hospital, and I made sure I researched the place before going there. Upon arrival, everyone was very welcoming, and what I loved the most was how they treated my baby who is a pittie with so much love. I also voiced my concerns about my dog not getting along with other dogs and they made sure that there were no issues and accidents. I also want to shout out Andrew for answering all my questions and he made me feel more at ease about what to expect since my dog needed to get sedated. I plan to continue to go to Covina Animal Hospital from now on.”
“I called around to many Vets to find decent prices when I was a first got my dog. And I am so glad I selected them. They are great. The doctor is very patient, helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable. The assistants and front desk personnel are also very nice and helpful. It has been almost 14 years and still highly recommend them. I've never had a bad experience.
Their caring nature became even more evident when my doggie was diagnosed with diabetes. They have been so caring toward her and patient with all the questions I had. They always assist me with a friendly attitude and smile whenever I have a concern. Definitely very happy I stuck with them”

“In regards to a review about unfair vet prices and preying on pet owners. Veterinary care in general is expensive. My sons dogs ear infection cost him 750 dollars…an ear infection. This is a dog too keep that in mind not an exotic…of course exotic care will cost more their exotics. If you want to talk about preying on the owners… my experience with that cost me 8 months of vet visits and 2 surgeries costing over 3500 dollars only for this so called “rabbit vet” to tell me he doesn’t know what’s wrong. When just 1 visit with Dr. Silpa ( who is an amazing exotics vet) took one look into my little bunnies mouth and quickly diagnosed him with advanced dental disease. If I had taken my bunny there from the beginning over all I would have SAVED money. So it REALLY does matter to find a good QUALITY vet who knows what they’re doing to take care of your special friends.
Fast forward 4 months my bunny has been a happy hoppy bunny and no more roller coaster rides for him thanks to Dr Silpa!”

“I want to thank nurse Norma, she has a vocation and is a person who has empathy for people and animals, my dog Máximo unfortunately got sick from eating something that his stomach couldn't digest, a plastic toy and it got stuck in his intestine, unfortunately I didn't. He had the cost of an emergency surgery that he needed to save his life. That saddens me too much. My dog was only a 5-month-old puppy and in just 2 weeks my puppy deteriorated and we had to make the difficult decision to put him to sleep now. We couldn't do anything. And Nurse Norma had compassion and empathy with my Máximo and that is why I thank her. I recommend this veterinarian because the nurses who are there really love the little animals. And when you go through a loss like that, they are compassionate because they understand that they are part of your family, not just pets. And the veterinarian is also good, his prices are more affordable for his services. My Máximo was a puppy loved by his family.”
“The staff is so kind and helpful! The front desk is really nice and the vet team is as well. Appreciate they help you figure out next steps for your pet without you feeling forced to go all out and test for everything if you cant afford it. They find a good balance to help your pet one step at a time. Also the wait is always fairly short and reasonable which i really appreciate as well. And they seem to genuinely care and want to help! I had been going to a different vet for years prior until i moved, and i'm shocked at how much nicer and efficient and helpful this vet clinic and staff is. They have helped my dog and cat so much and i'm so thankful!!!”

“We took our 12 week Golden Retriever puppy to County Line to see Dr Lee. What a great Vet! Our appointment was on time, kind and courteous, and an overall great experience. Dr Lee looked over Zack carefully, and helped us (as new puppy owners) feel confident and at ease with all our questions. i.e. vaccine schedules, puppy biting, feeding, and upcoming visits. The field of veterinary care is so challenging... and County Line Vets do it so well. 5 stars. Highly recommend!”

“The Vets here is amazing. I think they might be stretched thin though. The supportive staff didn't explain how to apply the topical medicine very well and they seemed a little disorganized. It feels like the process needs an office manager to coordinate support staff. Prices alway felt high, but this is my first vet experience, so take that with a grain of salt.”
“This was my second visit with my dog, Dr was great she showed and explained my pets situation thoroughly, the clinic has equipment that gives you results same day , friendly staff, place is clean, the only downside is parking, there’s a party rental next door and they block the sidewalk”
“I loved this clinic staffing are great but the bad side of this clinic though they dont put a note by the door if their open or not.Sometimes I have to go and drive to check if their open because you end up calling almost half a day not knowing their closed.Hopefully they fix that.”
“I have used this business a couple of times and I wish I didn't have to but glad they are open 24 hours bc when it's after 4/5pm and you can't find any vet clinic open let me tell you they come in handy. We've have dog emergencies here and 1 was fatal but unfortunately that was the best and most difficult decision we had to make. They are thorough, a bit pricey but what After hours clinic isn't now-a-days. The staff is ok some comments made during some customers arrival were somewhat negative and unwelcoming and unnecessary (I felt) because you are there obviously due to a situation going on with your pet. I continue and will continue to come here bc of their hours. I had my 2 year old toddler with me and am appreciative they do have a small play area for kids with some toys, and the reception gave her some crayons and book and that really helped bc we were there 4 hours. Over all I give them a 4 star.”
“I took my rescue cat, Cookie, for her first visit with Duarte Azusa Animal Hospital on October 12, 2024. We are fairly new to the area and it has taken me some time to sort through family referrals and choose a new vet for my fluff. I was impressed by the front staff - including the resident cats! - who were kind and efficient. Dr. Z listened to my concerns and put Cookie through a preliminary exam. A staff member thoroughly explained the detailed estimate of charges. I had an opportunity to ask questions and to decline services if I wished to do so. After our appointment, my cat was calm and quiet, not stressed or fearful. This tells me that the care she received out of my view must have been gentle and professional. I look forward to a long and satisfying relationship with Duarte Azusa Animal Hospital.”
